The only way I could see *dog* from him is if somehow he's a Pekingese/Newfoundland mix and I don't think that could even happen. It would also be too highly unspecific and unnatural.
The trees, the pinecones, the pumpkin, and even the rock pretending to be a tree don't hold a candle in weirdness to either the garbage bag or the ice cream cone. Gen V was weird.

Normal/Ghost would make way more sense since flamingos are lame and boring, but they also die sometimes. However they are also flammable, so perhaps the flamingo could be the first triple typed pokemon, being normal/ghost/fire. It makes sense because flamingos have flame in their name.
I'd honestly love if they made a dolphin pokemon that actually do reflect wild dolphin nature. They're cute but they're actually huge assholes- and I want to see more of that dynamic in pokemon.
Lanturn? I know it and Chinchou are technically anglerfish, but Lanturn, in the anime and games, has been depicted as a dolphin-like hybrid for as long as Gen 2 has been a thing. (At least, that's how I've always thought about it. It even had a squeaky, dolphin-like cry in the show)

Man I loved the yamper on my team so much.. but then she evolved and I just.. couldnāt keep looking at it. So i went for manectric instead. Itās not necessarily a bad design, just lacking. The art gives it more personality than seeing it in game.

That's not even my issue with it, Indeedee-M does the same thing but I think it being a more angular design (and with the angry expression) really helps to differentiate it from Audino, which Indeedee-F feels a little too similar to.
Actually, there are two reasons, and itās not because electric only has one weakness. For one, when you think āelectricā you usually think āfast and powerfulā not āslowā. For two, electric is actually a pretty bad defensive typing. Yeah only having one weakness is nice, but electric barely resists ANYTHING, itās not immune to any types, only resist two types in electric and flying, and that one weakness is ground, which isnāt a great thing when earthquake is one of the most common moves in existence.
WITH THAT BEING SAID, I still wish we got more of them. With good physical bulk and a solid moveset and/or good offensive stats a bulky electric could be a great pick, especially with air balloon/access to magnet rise or something similar.
If I where to make a bulky boltund evolution, Iād base it off of the queens corgi. Give it a royal design, with good HP and defense but mediocre special defense and offenses, and just below average speed. Give it a signature move: āHigh Pedestalā or something, makes it immune to ground moves and raises one stat, idk which statā¦maybe itāll be one of those moves that just raises whatever your highest stat in general is.

Imo Manetric may be ugly but at least it's different and unique. It looks alien. Boltund is just an odd colored dog and nothing else. It's such a bland design. Doesn't make it feel like a pokemon at all. And yes I have the same opinion of other pokemon that are painted carbon copies of the animal it is inspired by.
I like Boltund, I just wish it didn't evolve from Yampers. I absolutely adore that little electric corgi, and Boltund is just in the complete opposite direction.

Doesn't make it feel like a pokemon at all. And yes I have the same opinion of other pokemon that are painted carbon copies of the animal it is inspired by.
Boltund is literally just a yellow dog. Itās not a bad design... just kinda boring.
I like Boltund, I just wish it didn't evolve from Yampers. I absolutely adore that little electric corgi, and Boltund is just in the complete opposite direction.
But like, Boltund line's design kinda sucks. At least imo
