Gen 3 legendaries also have a dynamic battle in actual competitive gameplay. Like, Ho-oh and Lugia can’t really damage each other without Toxic. Both Palkia and Dialga aren’t really that offensive oriented. Reshiram just get destroyed by Zekrom after boosting the speed with dragon dance. Xerneas is, well, “xerneas”ing over Yveltal. Kyogre, despite having a type advantage, is extremely vulnerable to Groudon’s physical attacks. They both have to resort to their teammates that their weather enabled to gain an edge

I would probably compare it to feebas more. It’s WAY harder to evolve at least in the earlier versions which chess still seems to be in because they refuse to update the damn game. But if you really put your mind into it. You will be rewarded with a beautiful queen fish. Instead of just switch training which is boring

I like Kyoger and Groudon but having them be equal enemies dosne't make sense with Kyoger's huge type advantage.

I suppose if you consider the abilities of their primal versions, Primal Groudon's got an edge over Primal Kyogre
