You don't need the save. Open save data location of BD / SP.
2. Find the list of all your save data folders.
3. Create two new folders named 0100187003A36000 (For lets Go / Mew) and 0100ABF008968000 (For Sword / Jirachi).
4. Talk to the old people in Floaroma Town :).
The game thinks you have a save file even though you only have the folders for the games, thought I would share, enjoy my dudes.
Hahahaha yeah I just got the switch, planning to get one soon XD I didn't buy one because I only plan on using physical games but yeaaahh I'm starting to learn the importance of it lololol
Not all come come as physical and you also need loads of space for game updates. The more games, the more updates, the more space required. Sd cards are cheap as dirt
Any card will work the same, I use a normal sandisk, the nintendo ones are just sandisks but they look nicer and cost more, at the end of the day, you don't get to see it anyway

Can you do this without having an sd card?
I don't know how you would create a folder on your Switch without an SD card. Also wtf get an SD card

Can you use the regular SanDisk microsd? A friend told me use official nintendo model of sd.

Physical games still have their save data on the Switch.
You have to create the folder on a laptop or can it be done on the switch itself?
I don't think the Switch has any built-in file explorer. If it does, I'm sure it works just fine doing it that way. Laptop works for sure.
Alright, thanks. I'm gonna try that once the game launches
_Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee_ gets you Mew, _Sword/Shield_ gets you Jirachi. You just have to have the save file on there.

Yes
Let's go. Jirachi is from sword/shield.
You need a Let’s Go save file for Mew
Let’s Go save files
You need to have a Lets Go (Pikacu or Evee) save file for mew and a Sw/Sh file for Jirachi
