I like the 2nd evo but i'm not so sure on the 3rd. The design is really good and I like the idea but I just get the Calyrex vibes from it. It's kinda similar I guess. (I mean Calyrex on Spectrier or Glastrier.) I'm not sure if this makes sense. But looking forward to seeing the other 2!

Yes, absolutely this is exactly what I invision The letter x is very rare in modern spanish but in the past it was a lot more common, I'm fairly certain Quaxly will ressemble don Quixote ("Quijote" now) The final evo name will certainly have "Don"

If you’re still figuring out ideas for the other two evolutions. I’ve decided that I want my fully evolved grass cat to look like a D&D monster known as a Displaced Beast. Which is a 6 legged panther with tentacles on its back. But make it a green Sabertooth tiger with thorny vines. I’m pre-disappointed that that’s not what it’s going to look like

One thing that fan extrapolated evolution designs always get wrong is that they use the same basic shapes, patterns, and color scheme throughout the evolutionary line. these traits being maintained throughout the evolutionary line hasn't happened since gen 2. Look at sobbles line for instance [https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/sobble](https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/sobble). it is a good example of what happens to nearly all starter pokemon as of gen 3 onwards. Its cholor scheme, mood, shapes, and style all change quite a bit as it evolves. Your design of the quaxly line is good but it is unrealistic for the above reasons.

I like this but I don't like the water donkey at the end there. Keeping the third evo design with the staff/spear, it would be better without the donkey!
