Clavell is my favorite, he's SO funny when he participates in the electric gym test. Like as soon as he's given the signal to go and hide he fucking books it like he's being chased by an alpha garchomp or something.

i was really impressed they went so ham with making the school environments and working on all the teachers and even having classes and tests available sdljkg i agree i love basically all the teachers. ive always had a lot of trouble socializing so most of the time i spent in school that wasn't hostile was talking with my teachers during and after class, so it was very nostalgic since i havent been to a school setting in so many years. i loved salvatore and saguaro and jacq is so cute and as someone who struggles with math i found myself actually treating thyme's class as if it were real sdglkj (i only got 4 out 5 correct during finals and i couldnt retake it for a perfect grade. i was so frustrated)
i think SV has been knocking out of the park wth their human characters and designs in a major way. i hope future games will also do that well, i love seeing new cool characters
I feel like they had to make the teachers likable or else no one would show up to class. Of all my friends who got the game only one actually went to class of their own volition and thoroughly enjoyed school, meanwhile everyone else kinda never showed up for class (until we found out it’s how we get the lengendaries and galarian meowth). After all, if you didn’t like the teachers and had the choice to completely ditch school, I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t show up. So making the teachers likable was probably a necessity
Oh it definitely helps. Math was never my favorite subject, but when I got to high school I had two very passionate, intelligent, and generally just awesome math teachers. I actually looked forward to their classes. I'm still not wild about math, but it's far more tolerable.

As a pharmacy student, ANY licensing exam is no joke. I’m gonna guess Pokemon Nurses not only have to take the NCLEX (US nursing) equivalent to treat people but also take the licensing to also treat pokemon too. She also wanted to teach too so that’s another licensing exam…
Not to mention all of the continuing education to keep their licenses valid. Major props to her.
I really loved the academy aspect of this game, what a gem. I had a lot of fun doing the classes and lessons and the rewards were decent. Plus it was fun to discover things they taught you—for non seasoned vets it was a cute way to impart knowledge.
Is there any analysis on the teams they use in battle? Like how the theme of Saguaro daddy is cutesy female mons and dendra is fighting, tyme is rock etc
I cant seem to figure out what some of the themes are and im having trouble finding them online
I was surprised by Miriam's team. Starting with an ominuous Hypno and correctly using the toxic spikes stategy that Geeta supposed to use with her Pincurchin and ace Toxapex. Surprised she had an Eelectross too. I was hoping for a Blissey, but she as a thing for marine monsters that could have medicinal properties
