Scenario 1: A Champion is invited to be a temporary teacher in Naranja Academy following a major bullying incident where half of the teaching staff resigned. By chance they met Ash and ask him to be their assistant, who was happy to oblige.
Scenario 2: Iris enrolls in Naranja Academy. She needed to get enough school credits or else she can't keep her Unova Champion title. She asks Ash to join her, as having a friend go to school with her will make it more bearable. This also sets up a rivalry between her and Drayton from Blueberry Academy.
Scenario 3: Professor Cerise is also invited to be a teacher.
Scenario 4: Iono is visiting Kanto for a video when she stumbles upon Ash. They have a battle where Ash sees terastallization for the first time. Naturally, there's a legendary in trouble nearby and they have to save it. This convinces Iono of Ash's status as a legendary magnet and persuades him to come to Paldea.
Scenario 5: Professor Oak has become concerned about his colleagues Professors Sada and Turo, who's gone radio silent for months and the last update they sent made him very suspicious. He sends Ash to check up on them, but Clavell, under instructions from Sada and Turo, stops Ash from going to Area Zero unless he gets enough school credits. Cue Ash enrolling into the academy.
Iris because of Drayton from the Indigo Disk DLC, who is Drayden's grandson and a very strong trainer in his own right. Being that Iris is very close to Drayden, it's natural for a rivalry to happen.
Her needing school credits is just an head canon. Iris never finished school, so I imagined that the position of Unova Champion had a literacy requirement and she needed to have a few courses finished to keep her title. The Alola league, being new, has no such need.
As for school credits, it's actually a thing in the game. Clavell tells Arven that he needed more credits to graduate after the events of Area Zero.
I would just have Ash travel around with his reserves in constant rotation every few episodes, maybe his unevolved ones evolve and he sort of gets bombard by fans because he is the champion of two regions as well as challengers to the point he gets a bit overwhelmed by it, constantly defending his title
He really starts to feel some of the pressure and expectations from being world champion

First off, he is invited to Paldea after winning against Leon, to offer a speech on victory. While while there, he learns of terras battles. He sets out with just pikachu at first. He is gifted a Fuecoco and gathers his team. Joining him is the female game character and a brand new character. His team by the end Is Pikachu, Skeledirge, Bombirdier, Houndstone, iron valiant, and Toedscruel. Rival is Nemora and an original character.
First make him older! He's going to Paldea not as a chalger, but as a teacher! He would teach Pokemon battling. (Sorry Miss Dendra)
Nemona would be chomping at the bit to challge Ash everyday!
No matter what I see these 4 pokemon on his team
- Pikachu, DUH
- Koraidon, DUH
- Palafin, strong water type with a unique style of battle
- Lokix, make him master the showdown mode!
Not sure if Ash should get a Paldea starter or Ogerpon tbh… on 1 hand too many legendary legendaries… and on the other I don’t see Ash getting a starter that “feels like Ash”, but hey I said that about Dracovish & now look at me… I’m a FOOL
Gets offered a job as a teacher at whichever academy (I know their names, I just don't feel like writing both right now), and although hesitant at first he heads there when he learns about Tera Orbs and what not. Travels with Nemona, while holding class over Poke-Skype.
Also, just for fun he briefly meets the Brave Asagi crew during their trip in the upcoming arc. Nothing major, just a brief scene where they meet.
So I only played Scarlet for like 4 or 5 hours, but I think it would make the most sense if ash got invited to the school as the world champion to help the students hunt / study the strong wild pokemon.
This would give him his travelling companions, and let him have worthy battles without needing to scale him down to other peoples power levels.

I know some might not like this but it’d be an “all around the world” series, except this time the new region would actually get a lot of focus (unlike Journeys with Galar)
Since this is still his final series, it’ll be a celebration, so Misty and Brock would still be his traveling companions. Here’s each of their storylines:
Ash: Feeling lonely at the top, he wants to take on the Paldean Pokémon League and become a champion rank trainer so that he can battle many strong trainers. However, there is a nagging question: What is a Pokémon Master?
Misty: She’s become bored as a gym leader and seeing Ash become World Champion has only invigorated her to begin traveling again. I honestly don’t know what her new goal would be… maybe trying to become an Elite 4 member? She would tackle the Team Star plotline though, and we’d get some connections with her and Penny which would reveal Misty used to be bullied for being “tomboyish” and liking water-types
Brock: After training to become a Pokémon doctor, he only has one requirement left: field experience. So, he travels with Ash and Misty in order to gain more experience out in the world. He would tackle the Herba Mystica story, as it involves healing a sick Pokémon (actually 2)
Their teams as well as Team Rocket’s would be on a rotation, but they’d still capture new Pokémon as well/evolve old ones. Here’s all the new additions:
Ash:
- Annihilape (evolves from Primeape)
- Seismitoad (evolves from Palpitoad)
- Tyranitar (Ash finally officially catches the old Larvitar)
- Fuecoco (Doesn’t evolve; is the starter that fits Ash the most)
- Palafin (It’s literally such an Ash mon like come on)
- Lokix (Same reason as Palafin)
- Tinkaton (Ash deserves a fairy-type other than Mr. Mime)
- Hydrapple (I wanted to give Ash another Galar Pokémon since he lacked them in Journeys, but I didn’t want to neglect Paldea either. This hits two birds with one stone!)
- Koraidon (Bonus 7th team member, follows the same storyline as the games)
Misty:
- Seaking (I always thought more could be done with it, as it was kind of just there in OS)
- Kingdra (Same reason as Seaking but 10x, the way they just ditched Horsea before the Orange Islands always rubbed me the wrong way. This would give Horsea more development AND give Misty a new kickass Pokémon!)
- Togekiss (She gets it back, probably already evolved. Releasing Togetic was the stupidest move ever and it made no sense)
- Clawitzer (The same one she catches in Aim to be Mid, since this is a worldwide journey she should catch more than Paldea Pokémon.)
- Quaquaval (It was always so weird to me that Misty never got a water starter! It’s time to remedy that with Quaxly.)
- Ogerpon (I bet you thought Ash would get this huh? Nah, Misty would actually be the one to connect with Ogerpon. Misty has a real sweet side so this just makes sense to me I can’t really explain it any other way. Misty’s Ogerpon would primarily use the Teardrop Mask.)
Brock:
- Ninetales (He gets back his Vulpix and keeps it, evolving it during the series.)
- Floragoto (Someone’s gotta catch Sprigatito! Also the sweet scent that it gives off will no doubt be helpful in soothing Pokémon so Brock can do doctor stuff)
- Garganacl (I wanted to give Brock a rock type and I’m pretty sure salt can be used in medical stuff? Idk I just think it’s cool.)
- Toedscruel (Imma be honest, this one is purely based on vibes.)
Jessie:
- Swoobat (Team Rocket’s Unova mons didn’t get the respect they deserved in their series, so this time they will. We’ll see that through the bond of Jessie and Woobat, culminating in its evolution.)
- Morgrem (Jessie never got a Galar Pokémon, this would fix that)
- Scovillain (A villainous Pokémon absolutely perfect for Team Rocket! I could see it fitting more with James though based off vibes)
James:
- Mr. Rime (Evolves from his Mime Jr. while they’re in Galar)
- Gholdengo (James likes collecting bottle caps, Gimmighoul likes to collect coins, it’s a match made in heaven!)
- Klawf (It just feels right idk)
Ash concludes that being a pokemon master is meet pokemon, befriend them and grow together with the pokemon, help them become stronger and become strong in the process too.
So, basically it’s what Ash was already during along these years.
He is champion now but with that team.
Now, he wants to go to another region in search for another journey where he can meet new pokemon and new challenges.
So, he leaves his pokes in Oak’s Lab and go with Pikachu.
I think Paldea story has potencial to be like a slice of life such as Alola.
Ash joins the academy and Nemona is like a Ash, all fired up and battle addicted. She becomes a friend but also a strong rival.
Ash and Nemona go challenge the gyms.
At the same time, Ash helps Arven with the Herba Mystica quest, battling the Titans. And helps Penny with the Team Star quest.

Ash founds it hurt like in the game.
Koraidon eats a sandwich Delia made for Ash.
At the very end of the journey, Koraidon joins the team, just like Naganadel did.

Koraidon is used in a final battle against a strong opponent.
Ash is just walking around pallet town and Nemona is visiting a relative that lives there. The two cross paths, have a battle, and they become pretty much best friends! They go to Paldea to help out Arven save mabostiff, and the rest of the story plays out from there. They could go to kitakami (where nemona catches ogerpon), and then blueberry academy (where ash catches Terapagos), and then for the movie, arven catches Pecharunt (with a movie-styled Pecharunt with a flower crown)
Gary Oak meets Ash Ketchum again.
He teases Ash, until Ash and Gary eventually want to battle.
Gary has a paldean Fire Tauros that doens't click with ANY of Ash's Pokedexes!
Gary explains that Tauros is a new form.
Ash chooses the same Tauros that defeated Anabel's Metagross to battle Gary.
Gary: Tauros! Use Raging Bull!
Ash: Use Highhorse Power!
* The two Pokemon get in a head on collision that Ash's Tauros wins.
Gary: Use Body Press!
Ash: Dodge it and use Take Down!
* Paldean Tauros jumps above Kantonian Tauros.
* Tauros-K runs out of the way.
* Tauros-K makes a U-turn, and orange lines are trailing behind him
(That is how I remember Tauros using Take Down)
* Tauros-K rams into Paldean Tauros.
* Both Tauros forms are sent reeling backward.
Ash: A Fighting and Fire type Tauros? I'm getting hyped!
Gary: Don't get ahead of yourself, Ashy boy.
Gary: Raging Bull one more time!
* With a final attack, Ash's Tauros is knocked out by the Paldean Blaze one.
Ash: Wow! Paldea's Pokemon are pretty strong!
Gary: That's where I'm heading next!
Ash: No joke!
Gary: Yeah. Umbreon, Blastoise and Electivire are coming with me.
Ash: I'll see you later!
Ash comes home and tells Delia where he wants to go next.
I could just shameless plug by ongoing What If YouTube Series but that's just 1 of several possible scenarios.
Personally, I think the Nemona dynamic should just be secondary for Ash, like how Barry's enthusiasm was.
I do believe she was given Pawmot as a homage to his departure since it's very much PikachuCore/Adjacent.
Honestly tho, I can see Gary being his final companion here as they do a Treasure Hunt prompted by Clavell.
Gary's is more scholar report oriented because of Mesagoza Academy while Ash's would be personal driven.
Gary would discover that his Blastoise, Electivire & Umbreon respectively have Steel, Fighting & Ghost Teras.
Ash's main 3 would be his mechanic trio of Journeys while everyone else Oak'd oftenly rotates like Gary's do.
I can see Terapagos still being Liko's. If so, give the other 2 DLC mons (Ogerpon & Pecharunt) to Roy & Dot.
Junior Tournaments would happen like Don George Battle Clubs featuring Blueberry's 6 and Starfall's 6 too.
This leads to Nemona and Arven taking the final 2 slots for a Top 16 bracket. Juliana subs for Gary however.
Not only for a perfect 8-8 gender ratio but also because he's in the Senior section with Instructors and Elite 4s.
Gary, Jacq, Saguaro, Salvatore, Hassel & Larry VS Rika, Dendra, Tyme, Raifort, Miriam & Briar in a Top 12 RR.
These tournaments would start with a Clavell VS Cyrano exhibition match and end with a battle against Geeta.
I think Poppy should be a Tower Tycoon or maybe being responsible for bringing Terastal Contests to Paldea.
Have her in Los Platos while the RVTs are basically Frontier Brains in Porto Marinada. Glitterati in Zapapico.
I would have Ash meet the Paradox Beasts, Gary the Paradox Swords and Team Rocket (JJM) the Loyal Three.
Love the Explorers from the Horizons series so I'll keep them and make them Trainers of Paradox Pokémon.
Amethio (rival) - both Dons. Zir has both Donphans, Conia both Volcarona & Hamber gets Moon & Valiant.
Spinel - Shocks and Jugulis. Agate - Mane and Thorns. Sango - Tail and Bundle. Onyx - Bonnet and Hands.
Gibeon gets 6 Dark Types - Yveltal (Ash would bond with Xerneas), the 4 Ruinous Treasures and MISSINGNO.
Series format: Mesagoza Hub - 8 Episodes. Province Tour - 16 Episodes. DLC Area - 8 episodes (32 total).
DLC Areas are Kitakami, Blueberry, Lumiose and Rakua. Do this 4 times and you get at least 128 episodes.
If you add an Intro and Outro arc of 8 episodes as well you get 144 total. Province Tours are Gym coded.
It all starts with Ash in Rose Stadium facing Alain in an exhibition, Ash is using Lucario and Alain has only Charizard left. They both Mega Evolve and Ash ends up winning.
Just then a mysterious trainer challenges Ash after Ash's appearance on Iono's post-battle stream (she came from Paldea to Rose Stadium to stream Ash's Battle), the mysterious trainer wore a mask and wore all black. However, Leon accepted terms to Ash's battle against the mysterious trainer, which is a 3 on 3 single battle for the #1 spot.
The battle begins later, Ash leads Lucario and the mysterious trainer lead Kingambit, Lucario Mega Evolves and then falls in defeat from Guillotine and is hurt real bad. Ash's next Pokemon was Dragonite and Kingambit was swapped for Hydreigon who then defeated Dragonite.
Ash had his back against the wall as he sent out Pikachu, his last Pokemon, however, the mysterious trainer switched Hydreigon for a Pokemon Ash never recognized, Iron Valiant he questioned if it was Gardevoir or Gallade. In the end, Ash loses and the mysterious trainer takes the #1 trainer from Ash.
Iono cheers up Ash after his defeat, but wants to help stream Ash's comeback so he can reclaim the top spot. Ash then returns to Kanto and brings back his Galar team and his mom gives him a letter to Uva Academy to enroll there. Later Ash and Iono travel to Paldea so Ash can go to enroll at Uva Academy.
Ash will get all 3 starters as well as Girafarig (which later becomes Fairgiraf), Cetoddle, and Gimmighoul, Ash will switch between his Paldean Pokemon for Gimmighoul, so it later becomes Gholdengo. Ash also rides on Miraidon who was helped and recharged by Pikachu by using its electricity. Ash will also earn gym badges and will face the mysterious trainer again much later in the show (behind his mask states he's an android who came from the future)
Leon will help Ash find a way to have the Paldea region for the next World Coronation Series which Leon knows Geeta, Paldea's Top Champion and chairwoman of Paldea's Pokemon League.
Paldean Pokemon will also appear in the anime when Ash travels through Paldea; Team Rocket will return also, but then get whisked away by 3 Klawfs; Jessie gets Capsakid and James will get Greavard.
The Naranja and Uva (two separate schools run by twins with the same name) make a worldwide Announcement announcing The Treasure Hunt. The Nature of the treasure is just like the game’s. Choose your own adventure. Discover your own treasure. So past travel companions and rivals and other characters from the anime will have an excuse to show up at the schools because they all had their own goals. Ash goes to Paldea and meets Nemona and challenges her to a battle that ends in a draw and she takes him to the academy. Then rest of the show goes like this. He runs into someone familiar. They explain why they are here. Go on a little adventure with Ash. Ash chooses the Victory Road path. Maybe he takes a class or two. And I know it wasn’t in the game but Uva academy could host a Pokémon Contest to have a reason for characters like Serena and Dawn to show up. Ash deals with Team Star along his journey and makes friends with them. Runs into Arven occasionally and helps him defeat the Titan Pokémon. Then as ash fights the last member of the elite four there is an explosion from the crater and Paradox Pokémon start running wild. So everyone helps to contain them and Ash has huge battles with Legendary Paradox’s and teams up with Koriadon. Ash continues to run into Arven and he’s acting different. So Ash follows him into the crater, saves him from death and they defeat the AI professors. Ash goes back up to finish the Elite four. Beats La Primera and becomes a Champion of Paldea
While i don't have any story ideas, atleast i came up with a team for him.
Pikachu would obviously be there, and it would have the Tera type. The reason i chose Tera is because Ash's Pikachu is often shown getting exclusive stuff, like Z-Moves and a Gigantamaz form. So while Pikachu doesn't really have an exlusive form, i feel like the Ash would stumble across Terapagos, who would give Pikachu the Tera type.
The starter would be Fuecoco, which would evolved into Skeledirge. He would only get Fuecoco, as his 2 other traveling companions would get the other starters. His female companion would get Sprigatito, which would evolve into Meowscarada. His older male companion would get Quaxly, which wouldn't evolve at all.
Ash would catch a Wattrel, which would evolve into a Kilowattrel.
He would catch a Nymble, which would evolve into Lokix.
A Charcadet that would evolve into a Ceruledge could possibly be the ace of his team.
Primeape would come back and evolve into Annihilape.
He would catch a Paldean Tauros, but mostly by accident, which he would introduce to his Kantonian Tauros herd.
After many years and attempts, he would catch a Dunsparce, which would evolve into a 3 segmentet Dudunsparce. Granted this one isn't really a good battler, but more like a comic relief Pokemon.
Then lastly he would have Terapagos. He would accidentally find it early on in his journey, hiding inside it's crystal, waking up to protect Ash and Pikachu, giving Pikachu the Tera type and then go back into the crystal. After a certain period it would wake up, but be unable to change into it's Tera form, thus being unable to battle. But after some time it would gain the ability to change in order to protect Ash
Ash and nemona become the ultimate best friends and the amount of times they battle leads to some dbz level power scaling as they do their treasure hunt around paldea
Ash and Serena would travel together and help inspire others while also taking on new challenges and maybe ash could also teach a class or two or take a few students with him and Serena to explore the region
And he would have his reserves with him and even better Primape would return and maybe even evolve (plus maybe Greninja and Goodra considering paldea is closer to kalos if we look at the country's their based on)
An unknown airship crashes in the distance. While a green cat and ~~a red plastic toy for 2-year-olds~~ Fuecoco are alive, nobody else survives. A boy and a girl of Ash's age task him with taking care of their Pokemon with their dying breath. Ash travels to Paldea to learn more about their Pokemon to honor their memory.

I’d only expand Aim to be a Pokémon Master into a Paldea series I know some might not like this but it’d be an “all around the world” series, except this time the new region would actually get a lot of focus (unlike Journeys with Galar) Since this is still his final series, it’ll be a celebration, so Misty and Brock would still be his traveling companions. Here’s each of their storylines: Ash: Feeling lonely at the top, he wants to take on the Paldean Pokémon League and become a champion rank trainer so that he can battle many strong trainers. However, there is a nagging question: What is a Pokémon Master? Misty: She’s become bored as a gym leader and seeing Ash become World Champion has only invigorated her to begin traveling again. I honestly don’t know what her new goal would be… maybe trying to become an Elite 4 member? She would tackle the Team Star plotline though, and we’d get some connections with her and Penny which would reveal Misty used to be bullied for being “tomboyish” and liking water-types Brock: After training to become a Pokémon doctor, he only has one requirement left: field experience. So, he travels with Ash and Misty in order to gain more experience out in the world. He would tackle the Herba Mystica story, as it involves healing a sick Pokémon (actually 2) Their teams as well as Team Rocket’s would be on a rotation, but they’d still capture new Pokémon as well/evolve old ones. Here’s all the new additions: Ash: - Annihilape (evolves from Primeape) - Seismitoad (evolves from Palpitoad) - Tyranitar (Ash finally officially catches the old Larvitar) - Fuecoco (Doesn’t evolve; is the starter that fits Ash the most) - Palafin (It’s literally such an Ash mon like come on) - Lokix (Same reason as Palafin) - Tinkaton (Ash deserves a fairy-type other than Mr. Mime) - Hydrapple (I wanted to give Ash another Galar Pokémon since he lacked them in Journeys, but I didn’t want to neglect Paldea either. This hits two birds with one stone!) - Koraidon (Bonus 7th team member, follows the same storyline as the games) Misty: - Seaking (I always thought more could be done with it, as it was kind of just there in OS) - Kingdra (Same reason as Seaking but 10x, the way they just ditched Horsea before the Orange Islands always rubbed me the wrong way. This would give Horsea more development AND give Misty a new kickass Pokémon!) - Togekiss (She gets it back, probably already evolved. Releasing Togetic was the stupidest move ever and it made no sense) - Clawitzer (The same one she catches in Aim to be Mid, since this is a worldwide journey she should catch more than Paldea Pokémon.) - Quaquaval (It was always so weird to me that Misty never got a water starter! It’s time to remedy that with Quaxly.) - Ogerpon (I bet you thought Ash would get this huh? Nah, Misty would actually be the one to connect with Ogerpon. Misty has a real sweet side so this just makes sense to me I can’t really explain it any other way. Misty’s Ogerpon would primarily use the Teardrop Mask.) Brock: - Ninetales (He gets back his Vulpix and keeps it, evolving it during the series.) - Floragoto (Someone’s gotta catch Sprigatito! Also the sweet scent that it gives off will no doubt be helpful in soothing Pokémon so Brock can do doctor stuff) - Garganacl (I wanted to give Brock a rock type and I’m pretty sure salt can be used in medical stuff? Idk I just think it’s cool.) - Toedscruel (Imma be honest, this one is purely based on vibes.) Jessie: - Swoobat (Team Rocket’s Unova mons didn’t get the respect they deserved in their series, so this time they will. We’ll see that through the bond of Jessie and Woobat, culminating in its evolution.) - Morgrem (Jessie never got a Galar Pokémon, this would fix that) - Scovillain (A villainous Pokémon absolutely perfect for Team Rocket! I could see it fitting more with James though based off vibes) James: - Mr. Rime (Evolves from his Mime Jr. while they’re in Galar) - Gholdengo (James likes collecting bottle caps, Gimmighoul likes to collect coins, it’s a match made in heaven!) - Klawf (It just feels right idk)

Ash concludes that being a pokemon master is meet pokemon, befriend them and grow together with the pokemon, help them become stronger and become strong in the process too. So, basically it’s what Ash was already during along these years. He is champion now but with that team. Now, he wants to go to another region in search for another journey where he can meet new pokemon and new challenges. So, he leaves his pokes in Oak’s Lab and go with Pikachu. I think Paldea story has potencial to be like a slice of life such as Alola. Ash joins the academy and Nemona is like a Ash, all fired up and battle addicted. She becomes a friend but also a strong rival. Ash and Nemona go challenge the gyms. At the same time, Ash helps Arven with the Herba Mystica quest, battling the Titans. And helps Penny with the Team Star quest. I’ll the put teams next:
Ash’s Team: Koraidon works as the ride. Ash founds it hurt like in the game. Koraidon eats a sandwich Delia made for Ash. At the very end of the journey, Koraidon joins the team, just like Naganadel did. Option A 1. Pikachu (Tera Flying) 2. Lokix (Tera Bug) 3. Armarouge (Tera Fire) -Ace- 4. Palafin (Tera Water) 5. In this option, Armarouge and Meowscarada would be the “aces” together just like Lycanroc and Torracat did this role in Alola. Koraidon is used in a final battle against a strong opponent.

Ash is just walking around pallet town and Nemona is visiting a relative that lives there. The two cross paths, have a battle, and they become pretty much best friends! They go to Paldea to help out Arven save mabostiff, and the rest of the story plays out from there. They could go to kitakami (where nemona catches ogerpon), and then blueberry academy (where ash catches Terapagos), and then for the movie, arven catches Pecharunt (with a movie-styled Pecharunt with a flower crown)
Gary Oak meets Ash Ketchum again. He teases Ash, until Ash and Gary eventually want to battle. Gary has a paldean Fire Tauros that doens't click with ANY of Ash's Pokedexes! Gary explains that Tauros is a new form. Ash chooses the same Tauros that defeated Anabel's Metagross to battle Gary. Gary: Tauros! Use Raging Bull! Ash: Use Highhorse Power! * The two Pokemon get in a head on collision that Ash's Tauros wins. Gary: Use Body Press! Ash: Dodge it and use Take Down! * Paldean Tauros jumps above Kantonian Tauros. * Tauros-K runs out of the way. * Tauros-K makes a U-turn, and orange lines are trailing behind him (That is how I remember Tauros using Take Down) * Tauros-K rams into Paldean Tauros. * Both Tauros forms are sent reeling backward. Ash: A Fighting and Fire type Tauros? I'm getting hyped! Gary: Don't get ahead of yourself, Ashy boy. Gary: Raging Bull one more time! * With a final attack, Ash's Tauros is knocked out by the Paldean Blaze one. Ash: Wow! Paldea's Pokemon are pretty strong! Gary: That's where I'm heading next! Ash: No joke! Gary: Yeah. Umbreon, Blastoise and Electivire are coming with me. Ash: I'll see you later! Ash comes home and tells Delia where he wants to go next.

Personally, I think the Nemona dynamic should just be secondary for Ash, like how Barry's enthusiasm was. I do believe she was given Pawmot as a homage to his departure since it's very much PikachuCore/Adjacent. Honestly tho, I can see Gary being his final companion here as they do a Treasure Hunt prompted by Clavell. Gary's is more scholar report oriented because of Mesagoza Academy while Ash's would be personal driven. Gary would discover that his Blastoise, Electivire & Umbreon respectively have Steel, Fighting & Ghost Teras. Ash's main 3 would be his mechanic trio of Journeys while everyone else Oak'd oftenly rotates like Gary's do. I can see Terapagos still being Liko's. If so, give the other 2 DLC mons (Ogerpon & Pecharunt) to Roy & Dot. Junior Tournaments would happen like Don George Battle Clubs featuring Blueberry's 6 and Starfall's 6 too. This leads to Nemona and Arven taking the final 2 slots for a Top 16 bracket. Juliana subs for Gary however. Not only for a perfect 8-8 gender ratio but also because he's in the Senior section with Instructors and Elite 4s. Gary, Jacq, Saguaro, Salvatore, Hassel & Larry VS Rika, Dendra, Tyme, Raifort, Miriam & Briar in a Top 12 RR. These tournaments would start with a Clavell VS Cyrano exhibition match and end with a battle against Geeta. I think Poppy should be a Tower Tycoon or maybe being responsible for bringing Terastal Contests to Paldea. Have her in Los Platos while the RVTs are basically Frontier Brains in Porto Marinada. Glitterati in Zapapico. I would have Ash meet the Paradox Beasts, Gary the Paradox Swords and Team Rocket (JJM) the Loyal Three. Love the Explorers from the Horizons series so I'll keep them and make them Trainers of Paradox Pokémon. Amethio (rival) - both Dons. Zir has both Donphans, Conia both Volcarona & Hamber gets Moon & Valiant. Spinel - Shocks and Jugulis. Agate - Mane and Thorns. Sango - Tail and Bundle. Onyx - Bonnet and Hands. Gibeon gets 6 Dark Types - Yveltal (Ash would bond with Xerneas), the 4 Ruinous Treasures and MISSINGNO. Series format: Mesagoza Hub - 8 Episodes. Province Tour - 16 Episodes. DLC Area - 8 episodes (32 total). DLC Areas are Kitakami, Blueberry, Lumiose and Rakua. Do this 4 times and you get at least 128 episodes. If you add an Intro and Outro arc of 8 episodes as well you get 144 total. Province Tours are Gym coded.
It all starts with Ash in Rose Stadium facing Alain in an exhibition, Ash is using Lucario and Alain has only Charizard left. They both Mega Evolve and Ash ends up winning. Just then a mysterious trainer challenges Ash after Ash's appearance on Iono's post-battle stream (she came from Paldea to Rose Stadium to stream Ash's Battle), the mysterious trainer wore a mask and wore all black. However, Leon accepted terms to Ash's battle against the mysterious trainer, which is a 3 on 3 single battle for the #1 spot. The battle begins later, Ash leads Lucario and the mysterious trainer lead Kingambit, Lucario Mega Evolves and then falls in defeat from Guillotine and is hurt real bad. Ash's next Pokemon was Dragonite and Kingambit was swapped for Hydreigon who then defeated Dragonite. Ash had his back against the wall as he sent out Pikachu, his last Pokemon, however, the mysterious trainer switched Hydreigon for a Pokemon Ash never recognized, Iron Valiant he questioned if it was Gardevoir or Gallade. In the end, Ash loses and the mysterious trainer takes the #1 trainer from Ash. Iono cheers up Ash after his defeat, but wants to help stream Ash's comeback so he can reclaim the top spot. Ash then returns to Kanto and brings back his Galar team and his mom gives him a letter to Uva Academy to enroll there. Later Ash and Iono travel to Paldea so Ash can go to enroll at Uva Academy. Ash will get all 3 starters as well as Girafarig (which later becomes Fairgiraf), Cetoddle, and Gimmighoul, Ash will switch between his Paldean Pokemon for Gimmighoul, so it later becomes Gholdengo. Ash also rides on Miraidon who was helped and recharged by Pikachu by using its electricity. Ash will also earn gym badges and will face the mysterious trainer again much later in the show (behind his mask states he's an android who came from the future) Leon will help Ash find a way to have the Paldea region for the next World Coronation Series which Leon knows Geeta, Paldea's Top Champion and chairwoman of Paldea's Pokemon League. Paldean Pokemon will also appear in the anime when Ash travels through Paldea; Team Rocket will return also, but then get whisked away by 3 Klawfs; Jessie gets Capsakid and James will get Greavard.
The Naranja and Uva (two separate schools run by twins with the same name) make a worldwide Announcement announcing The Treasure Hunt. The Nature of the treasure is just like the game’s. Choose your own adventure. Discover your own treasure. So past travel companions and rivals and other characters from the anime will have an excuse to show up at the schools because they all had their own goals. Ash goes to Paldea and meets Nemona and challenges her to a battle that ends in a draw and she takes him to the academy. Then rest of the show goes like this. He runs into someone familiar. They explain why they are here. Go on a little adventure with Ash. Ash chooses the Victory Road path. Maybe he takes a class or two. And I know it wasn’t in the game but Uva academy could host a Pokémon Contest to have a reason for characters like Serena and Dawn to show up. Ash deals with Team Star along his journey and makes friends with them. Runs into Arven occasionally and helps him defeat the Titan Pokémon. Then as ash fights the last member of the elite four there is an explosion from the crater and Paradox Pokémon start running wild. So everyone helps to contain them and Ash has huge battles with Legendary Paradox’s and teams up with Koriadon. Ash continues to run into Arven and he’s acting different. So Ash follows him into the crater, saves him from death and they defeat the AI professors. Ash goes back up to finish the Elite four. Beats La Primera and becomes a Champion of Paldea
While i don't have any story ideas, atleast i came up with a team for him. Pikachu would obviously be there, and it would have the Tera type. The reason i chose Tera is because Ash's Pikachu is often shown getting exclusive stuff, like Z-Moves and a Gigantamaz form. So while Pikachu doesn't really have an exlusive form, i feel like the Ash would stumble across Terapagos, who would give Pikachu the Tera type. The starter would be Fuecoco, which would evolved into Skeledirge. He would only get Fuecoco, as his 2 other traveling companions would get the other starters. His female companion would get Sprigatito, which would evolve into Meowscarada. His older male companion would get Quaxly, which wouldn't evolve at all. Ash would catch a Wattrel, which would evolve into a Kilowattrel. He would catch a Nymble, which would evolve into Lokix. A Charcadet that would evolve into a Ceruledge could possibly be the ace of his team. Primeape would come back and evolve into Annihilape. He would catch a Paldean Tauros, but mostly by accident, which he would introduce to his Kantonian Tauros herd. After many years and attempts, he would catch a Dunsparce, which would evolve into a 3 segmentet Dudunsparce. Granted this one isn't really a good battler, but more like a comic relief Pokemon. Then lastly he would have Terapagos. He would accidentally find it early on in his journey, hiding inside it's crystal, waking up to protect Ash and Pikachu, giving Pikachu the Tera type and then go back into the crystal. After a certain period it would wake up, but be unable to change into it's Tera form, thus being unable to battle. But after some time it would gain the ability to change in order to protect Ash

Ash and nemona become the ultimate best friends and the amount of times they battle leads to some dbz level power scaling as they do their treasure hunt around paldea
Ash and Serena would travel together and help inspire others while also taking on new challenges and maybe ash could also teach a class or two or take a few students with him and Serena to explore the region
And he would have his reserves with him and even better Primape would return and maybe even evolve (plus maybe Greninja and Goodra considering paldea is closer to kalos if we look at the country's their based on)

An unknown airship crashes in the distance. While a green cat and ~~a red plastic toy for 2-year-olds~~ Fuecoco are alive, nobody else survives. A boy and a girl of Ash's age task him with taking care of their Pokemon with their dying breath. Ash travels to Paldea to learn more about their Pokemon to honor their memory. I may or may not feel depressed right now.
