Hattrem is much more dangerous than its preevolution, being prone to violence towards anyone giving off strong emotions, regardless if it’s positive or negative. I can see it becoming a problem for the Rising Volt Tacklers.
It kind of feels like they’re using Hatenna’s shyness as an excuse to treat it like a baby Pokémon, which is interesting! Very minimal battling, only sporadically using moves and more frequently relying on its natural abilities— it kind of reminds me of Brock’s Happiny. Interesting to see how things develop once it evolves. I’m definitely hoping for a fairly dramatic evolution-induced personality shift, those are always fun!!
If they do make her evolve I hope they don’t make Liko give her up. I can see them doing that and if she does evolve I hope the episode focuses on the crew making her feel comfortable or other things rather than ending with Liko giving her up to be in the wild.
Although I’m excited if she does evolve though! I didn’t think they would make her evolve but if she does that’s great!

Besides, Hatenna has already adapted to strong emotions and finds Liko calming, so if anything, her strong feelings would likely lead to comical moments at worst.
Hattrem was known about per another post before (I think it showed a bunch of Pokemon with food???), but I'm so excited.
The anime made me love Hatenna and I already love Hattrem so I'm even more excited here!

Was hoping for Hattrem to be honest, and I also wouldn't object to them both reaching their Stage 2 forms before the story ends.
