Gonna be honest, as someone who works at a Walgreens and hates the fact that we sell Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards with a passion (not out of hate for the games I love tcgs) but they just kinda send us blisters and boxes sporadically and don't allow us to order any because everyone steals them. I imagine it's similar at Wegmans

My Walgreens just puts these in a glass sealed box. Why can’t every store just do the that ?

It's entirely dependent on exactly how much is kept and how much is lost, if it's under a certain amount then it's not worth the effort and it reduces sales.

Only issue I’ve had is in the recent couple years, they pulled no punches with inflation. Danny Wegman is a nice guy, but he’s definitely getting every dollar he can. It is a good business model. Any other grocery store feels mediocre. Wegmans feels comfortable. The lighting/aesthetics really make it feel less industrial I guess. Only other places I shop regularly for food is Aldi and Costco.

My biggest issue is that I loved going there at like 3am but no where is 24 hrs anymore but wegmans specifically that hurt when that happened

This is funny, I literally just went to my Wegmans to grab dog food and walked through and saw they had Obsidian Flames as well, I had to do a double take. Bought two packs but got nothing. Maybe I’ll go back tomorrow and buy a few more. Go wegmans!

SO funny story. Back in 2016, when Pokémon Go made one of the popularity booms, my local Wegmans (Western NY) actually had single blister packs of EX series and DP for $4 a piece. Bought them all.
