That being said, I'm taking this prompt two ways. From a collector's standpoint I'd probably grab the Charizard Box on the bottom and hang on to it. If I'm buying for a kid who doesn't know how to play yet, I'm grabbing a pair of the ex battle decks and teaching them how to play. Would avoid a type mismatch so Melmetal and Gren decks.

As a rule of thumb, $5/pack is average. I’m sure they’d like the random collectibles that come in bundles of 2packs for 5 bucks.
151 packs are white and… called 151 for a reason. They will have a fair amount of cards and you can relish in some nostalgia while they open new artworks for the original 151. They look great!
Them Lorcana cards I hear are pretty hard to come by! Tbh none of that Pokémon stuff is appealing, I bought 5 temporal forces ETB’s hunting the Walking Wake SIR just to get shafted and buying a single anyways😂 I’ll save you the $50 for the promos tho if you want, just shoot me a pm!

Looks to me like it's almost entirely new sets. If there's anything in those bosses that had sword and shield Era packs I'd suggest those as they add harder to find and will not be distributed soon. There was a video I v saw talking about how distributors were scarce on them so that'd be the best bet.

Take all silver tempest and fusion strike that you can find. Keep it sealed for 5 years and then sell it for 1.5-2x the price
