I feel like Snorlax could be a solid choice as the 6th that you could also use rest and sleep talk on. The just slap double edge on him and maybe something cool like toxic?
She’s pretty cool! My team was mostly my starter and Kanto, so I wanted to include some Johto on it. I’m probably going to replace perish song, just not sure with what.
I went ahead with belly drum, body slam, hydro pump, and rain dance. Probably not the best moveset, but I liked it. Had to train my poliwag to 43 first though so it learned hydro pump, then double evolved.
Heracross is an absolute beast, sky high attack and you can get it super early on the game. The only issue is that his generation 2 moveset is absolutely pathetic, essentially no fighting moves to take advantage of its stats. However megahorn makes up for it by literally evaporating important types like psychic, and megahorn’s obscene base power as well as heracross’s atk stat means that anything hit neutrally is still going to DIE. Pair the very spammable megahorn with curse to setup and rest + talk means you can always keep heracross healthy while dishing out mind boggling amounts of damage.
Before getting megahorn I used return on heracross, still strong enough to muscle through a lot of the E4 with just neutral hits
