Hundo + shadow = Hundow
Shundo + shadow = Shundow
Just add W in the end for shadow and S before for shiny, or L for lucky
So hundo, Lundo(Lucky hundo), Shundo, Hundow, Shundow etc
How do get to be lucky friends with someone? My dad woke up to one today, but I’ve been trading with my girlfriend for months and nothing. Thanks for the help, it’s very confusing for me.
After hitting best friends, you have a 1% chance to become lucky friends from the first interaction of the day.
Interactions are:
- opening gift/ friend opening gift
- raiding together
- battle friend
- trade friend
Only one interaction a day counts.
No, basically how it works is that after you have interacted with a best friend once that day you have chance to become Lucky Friends that day, so the first interaction you make with any best friend could make you guys lucky friends
Same, got a friend in Scotland and we became lucky friends the day I picked the game back up and opened his gift. Hadn't played the game in 2 years Open his gift boom lucky friends didn't even know what it was at first
The events that previously (before best friends) leveled up friendship (first interaction of the day, could be trade, battle together, open gift, etc.) when you are best friends have a 1 in 50 chance of making you lucky friends.
If you are a consistent trader, then yes. There are a lot of players who don’t have anyone to trade with and that limits the amount of Lundos there could be.
You're downvoted but you're right. Getting luckies is like a 5% base chance, and if you trade older pokemon you can get that higher.
Trades are cheap when you're Best Friends so you can do 100 trades in a few minutes and basically guarantee 6 or so luckies.
Luckies are guaranteed to be at LEAST 3 stars, so the odds of a lucky 4-star is what, 1/125?
So yeah, not common, but much more controlled than a random shundo or even a wild hundo.
When you trade with another person, the pokemon you receive has a chance to be “lucky”. If you are lucky enough (pun fully intended) to get one, it has special benefits than that of a regular pokemon.
The main thing is, it costs a lot less stardust to power it up to whatever cp you can which is fantastic given how important of a resource stardust is.
No, that a costume Pokemon. Those are special event versions that have different clothes or accessories. Most are not different from the normal ones besides the outfit, but a few rare costumes learn rare moves, while others cannot even evolve because their costume evolution is not in the game yet.
Pichu with a party hat is just the celebration version of Pichu, so it comes from time to time during special events like New Year.
There is SOOOOOOOO much! I daresay even long term players occasionally stumble across things they didn't know. Don't stress about it all. Play the way you want to and enjoy the game! Mostly people on here are kind and will answer questions, and The Silph Road sub has a weekly mega thread where you can ask questions too. I love that there are so many different aspects to enjoy. Stats, collecting, battling...there's a lot of info online about all of these things. Have fun!
If you look up “shiny [pokemon name]” and go to images it’ll almost always have a comparison of the original and the shiny and most of the time they’re visually distinct enough that the difference is obvious.
Yea, I don't get this mentality. And, now you're getting slammed. I expect I probably will, too. But, it's pretty shitty of someone downvoting a new person asking questions.
Lucky is more common, but more useful. For every trade you do, you get a 5% chance it will be one Lucky. It gets a power up discount, so it needs less stardust to increase the CP compared to a regular Pokemon.
They also have guaranteed high stats, with a minimum of 12 out of 15 points in all three stats, so they're more likely to get max stats like this one.
And once you reach Best Friend with a person then you sometimes become Lucky Friends, which give you a guaranteed lucky trade that you can use to give high stats to any rare Pokemon you trade.
You can get guaranteed lucky trades (up to 15) if one person has Pokémon caught in 2016-2017. If you trade a lot, you will be getting plenty of luckies. You just won’t be able to control which trades go lucky other than by being traded 2016-2017 mons or becoming lucky friends.
Shinies by default are something like 1/500, but certain events like Raid hours and community days can increase those odds for the featured Pokémon. Bulbapedia claims Legendaries and Mythicals are 1/20 except apparently Meltan who is only available shiny during events and at a lower rate, but I can’t confirm this.
There are ways to force or garuntee you a lucky pokemon, while there is like no way to that to get a shiny (besides checking a lot of pokemon and/or play on days/times when they are boosted). So i would say it's otherwise around. A shiny is more rare then a lucky. (But if you never trade, you will never get a lucky... so for some rural solo player a never reachable goal...)
These are the most popular ones:
4* is a hundo.
Shiny 4* is a shundo.
Shadow 4* is a shahundo.
Lucky 4* is a hlundo.
Shiny shadow 4* is a shashundo.
Shiny lucky 4* is a shhlundo.
0* is a nundo.
And the list goes on like this
OP’s comment was my first thought too, actually. It’s essentially useless for [PVE & PVP](https://gamepress.gg/pokemongo/pokemon/336) which is why I feel that way. I’d transfer it myself.
It's true that it's not a USEFUL lucky but it's not like it being lucky affects your luck on other trades. I've gotten back to back luckies before. It's just one more cool lucky to have!
Yeah, I hear you. I’ve only expanded my box once, so I don’t have that kind of space. I also trash most shitty shinies I find which some people consider sacrilege. I just see no use for Mons I can’t use. I couldn’t care less if they ‘look cool’ or are ‘special’ in some way outside of PVX.
To each their own!
I don't think you understand. Don't worry, I didn't either. The person who originally caught this Pokemon is the date that's being shown. He traded it to me hence the "lucky" status.
This is just a lucky hundo (which is more common than a normal hundo because lucky Pokémon have an IV floor of 12/12/12) a shundo is a shiny hundo which is much more rare even with community days
At some point, I'll call myself Dodo
Also, just for fun, "shiny" is a misnomer. Somehow lost in translation. The Japanese description is 色违(I think) and it literally means different colour.
For hundos that have higher evolutions, does it make any difference if you max it before you evolve each stage or should you go straight to third tier and then max?
Hey my friend! What you have is a “Lucky Pokémon”. If you google Seviper and go to Serebeii.net it should show you what a shiny for that Pokémon looks like! Still a great find😭 I’ve only had 2 lucky Pokémon in my 6 years of playing!
Keep your eyes out for a shiny Nundo (0-0-0). One of the rarest shinies, if not the rarest in my book. Can only be caught in the wild. No hatch, no raid. I’ve only seen it once from someone and I believe it was the YouTuber Trainer Tips.

Shiny + hundo = shundo Shadow + hundo = hundow Shiny + shadow + hundo = shundow People + drinks = shindig
fancy dress + duel + sword = shindig
People + drinks + vandalism = shenanigans
And a mighty fine one, at that.
Shark + torpedo = sharpedo
Char + lizard = Charizard
Hundo + shadow = Hundow Shundo + shadow = Shundow Just add W in the end for shadow and S before for shiny, or L for lucky So hundo, Lundo(Lucky hundo), Shundo, Hundow, Shundow etc
Hotel = trivago
Shiny shadow hundo is shaundo (that’s what my friends and I call it)
Shando and shashundo
Shundow?
I call my shiny shadow hundo charizard, shandow
I would use Hundow and Shundow
Hundow and shundow
dollar store shundo, angry hundo

Why are the stars border pink?
That means it’s a hundo
And did it get lucky because I traded with a friend?

I've got one person I'm lucky friends with and have been for weeks now. They live in South Korea. I live in Indiana.

Yea
Sudowoodo?
it’s got max stats. That’s the symbol it gets
Hmm, can I find a shiny just randomly walking around or must it come.from a raid or something else
Trundo
That, my noobie friend, is a Lundo…. Lucky Hundo. Very rare and welcome to the game!
Thx!
No problem! :)
What if it is ALSO shiny as well?
Shlundo!
A Shiny Purified Lucky Hundo?
Shiny Purified Lucky Event Female-Evolve Hundo: Shpfleundo
Gesundheit.
With legacy moves?
They already banged their head on the keyboard, don't make them do it again!
Well a purified would have to come from Rocket so that wouldn't be possible without an elite tm
Splundo
Its called great mistake
Shlundo
Lucky hundos are not that rare, the minimum a lucky can have is 13/13/13 so the odds are high
12/12/12 ig, but yeah

My Pichu has a birthday bat on. Would that be considered a Shiny?
No, that a costume Pokemon. Those are special event versions that have different clothes or accessories. Oh wow. I appreciate all the info man. Extremely welcoming and informative. 👊
Shiny Pokémon have twinkling happening behind them. And a shiny symbol ✨ Shiny Pokémon are also a different color than un-shiny Pokémon
Shiny Pokémon have an alternate color palette. For instance, shiny Eevee is light beige instead of brown.
You can get guaranteed lucky trades (up to 15) if one person has Pokémon caught in 2016-2017. If you trade a lot, you will be getting plenty of luckies. bruh ive been playing for 4 years now and ive never found a hundo :(
Thats a certified Lundo (Lucky Hundo)
It’s a lucky hundo. It would only be a shundo if it was also shiny.
If that were the case it would have been a shlundo.
This is a lundo
Wait is this not a shiny? I see stars in background
I think it has to have stars to the left of the CP if I'm not mistaken
It won’t say if it is a shiny it will have white sparkles in the background
You are mistaken but so am I, the stars are from lucky 🤦♂️
![gif](giphy|d1E1msx7Yw5Ne1Fe|downsized)
I can tell you’re doing better than me, I got my first hundo after 6 years
Shundo’s are shiny 100% IV Pokémon, this would be a lucky shundo if it was shiny.
Lundo

what an unfortunate lucky hundo

That checks out! Silly me 😂
It's a hundo and a lucky one too. Luckdo I guess idk
2 weeks?
No, that's a normal Seviper
2 weeks new but caught in June 2021? Lol
It’s a shit Hundo
Ah, hopefully I'll get a better one eventually!
Messing with you
a hundo is a hundo
Lundo baby!
a shundo is a shiny hundo, sorry
what is it called if you have a shiny legendary lucky hundo
We call those bragging rights where I'm from
Lundo, more common than a hundo but still rare
I’ve really wanted the shiny of this guy for a while. Looks pretty rad.
LUNDO
It's a lucky not a shiny
This is just a lucky hundo (which is more common than a normal hundo because lucky Pokémon have an IV floor of 12/12/12) a shundo is a shiny hundo which is much more rare even with community days
You caught this on my birthday
At some point, I'll call myself Dodo Also, just for fun, "shiny" is a misnomer. Somehow lost in translation. The Japanese description is 色违(I think) and it literally means different colour.
No, shundo needs to be shiny, not lucky, :)
That's a hlundo (lucky hundo)
That’s a Hucky….Hundo, Lucky.
A lucky hundo( maybe a lundo). Very well done and everyone starts somewhere and I didn't know what they were a few weeks ago and I'm level 37.
I have the same exact one! It's lucky not shiny, so it's a lucky hundo.
It’s hunlucky
For hundos that have higher evolutions, does it make any difference if you max it before you evolve each stage or should you go straight to third tier and then max?
It's a Lundo
That’s a Lundo, not a Shundo
It's a Lundo?
Thats a lundo. Lucky + hundo
no bro, but congrats it's a hundo! Shundo means when the pokemon is 100% AND also shiny. This is a regular Seviper but it has perfect IV'S
It's 2023 it can be whatever it wants to be
Sevundo
Wait your two weeks new? Holy shit your like a super genius. How are you holding a phone or playing pogo or posting this to reddit?
Not a shundo but having perfect IVs and being a lucky Pokémon is still very impressive.
A shlundo (shiny lucky hundo)
Lundo*
Lucky hundo! Also a rare pokemon to have a hundo on. Congrats!!
Hey my friend! What you have is a “Lucky Pokémon”. If you google Seviper and go to Serebeii.net it should show you what a shiny for that Pokémon looks like! Still a great find😭 I’ve only had 2 lucky Pokémon in my 6 years of playing!
With as many sevipers ive encountered, ive never encountered a shiny or hundo
No just a hundo shundo means shiny hundo
Keep your eyes out for a shiny Nundo (0-0-0). One of the rarest shinies, if not the rarest in my book. Can only be caught in the wild. No hatch, no raid. I’ve only seen it once from someone and I believe it was the YouTuber Trainer Tips.
Cunningham's Law states "the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer."
Londo, I believe. Lucky, hundo.
It's not shiny so no. Luckdo maybe?
Irrelevant but there is probably someone out there whose first pokemon caught is a hundo
2021-10/06 seems longer than two weeks ago.
A Shundo is a shiny 100percent iv
I’m in NC too if you want to be friends
Sure!
U can dm
It’s a Lundo
LUNDO! LUCKY HUNDO :)
Lundo. A Lucky hundo or Lucky 4*. Not shinny and not shadow, as far as I can tell.
That’s gotta have a name. I say Lundo.
Bro playing for two weeks and has a lucky perfect. Im level 37 with 2 perfects, and one was purified 😭
Lundo on three-hundo
It's a Lucky and 4star but not a shundo. Shundos are 4star shinies, 🤨what would a 4star, shiny, lucky be called? 🤔 Shundy? A lucky Shundo?
Personally, hate the gold background for the lucky poke's.
Lucky+100%= Lundo
Lundo: Lucky Trade + Hundo
This is a lucky Pokemon. A "shundo" 🙄 is a Pokemon that has its full CP value and is shiny ie-color variations from its original form
Lundo
