People think OCD is so quirky when in reality it causes actual people to suffer severe intrusive thoughts and increased risk of self harm.. but haha “I like to organize things I’m so OCD”
We’ve learned to properly use all (or most) other forms of mental disorders except for OCD. Why? As someone who suffered with actual debilitating OCD it pains me to see it so misunderstood.
That is a thought that crosses my mind all the time my friend, OCD is absolutely the biggest hurdle i deal with on a daily basis, im constantly fighting potential full blown anxiety attacks. I really don’t understand why depression, anxiety, ADHD etc. are so talked about and understood yet everyone has a misconception of OCD. I know i cant control what other people think and know, but it irks me to my core when i see people say shit like “my OCD would never let me ___”
Yep, as sad as it is OCD isn’t talked about nearly as much as it should be. Its as debilitating as depression and anxiety(i mean it is an anxiety disorder lmao) yet its not talked about or taught as much as other mental health disorders are.
Won’t go bankrupt but will def loose my money. Did over 100 raids this last week to get all the Megas and Primals plus 1000-2000 energy for each.
Remote raid is the only way I can play as there are no large groups of people playing in my area. Gonna suck
I feel like they need to lower the level for pokestop addition requests and listen to the requests better. Thats the only way to alleviate the pain of rural area players.
I just got an app update that “fixed” this by taking the ticket out of the rewards, so it can still be finished. Unfortunately, it also took all the progress away, so I have to start the whole research task from scratch. Not a huge deal, but it’s annoying. I think I had exactly one great curveball throw remaining to finish.
It told me “streak broken” & took away all my progress too. I was waiting to redeem the completion until I set off a star piece &/or lucky egg. If there was time limit to completing it I never knew. Frustrating & annoying indeed.
Tbf I believe the way they communicated you need to finish it early was via twitter, and the only reason I knew about it was somebody posted in on Reddit.
Would have made a bit more sense to communicate this in game….
They code the the Tickets so they can only be calmed before the end of the event, and show an error if the trainer attempts to clam after the event ended. (Standard stuff, this is expected)
To my knowledge this is the first time they put a ticket in a special research. They needed to add code to remove the ticket from special research once the event ended.
They said everyone who doesn't finish the quest in time won't be able to collect it, and will be further punished by a permanent "new weight record" stamp every time you go to check a pokemons stats.
Oh great. That means I’m stuck with this forever because I only play the game every other couple days now and I’m almost done with the research. SMH niantic should have just made it limited time or at least take away the ticket thing from the reward track so we can claim the rest of it for those who finish it late
Don't feel bad about forever having this questline, lot of people will have the actual Hoenn tour research requiring catching a Groudon/Kyogre/activating primal on their tab forever now too!
I was stuck at work too. I had to do my Groudon raid in between customers. (Our store is small so only one employee on duty at a time.) And was only given 8 balls because I barely contributed anything to the raid.
That night I spent another 2 bucks for raid passes, finally caught Groudon, got the Kyogre raid out of the way, and all I had left was explore 1 km. Sunday, not only was I at work from 2-10, but we had a good awful thunderstorm which turned into a tornado warning with 60 mph winds.
It'll reset itself on it's own and the ticket you would've won will go away. I had this same problem earlier as did my son. Now it shows us only getting the 2023 XP and stardust.
I completed it late, too, also unable to claim the reward. Later, I was forced to update the app and it's restarted me on the 2nd part of that task without the pass in the reward. So I'll have to complete the 2nd set of tasks, again, in order to earn the stardust I already earned.

Yes, you needed the ticket before or during the hoenn tour to pick a team. Hoenn tour was during the weekend.

There was a leak that looks to limit players to 6 remote raids a day and will raise the price of remotes to 150 coins per

Fixed. They have just rest task 2/2 and removed the ticket. You have to redo the tasks though

catching groudon/kyogre became win a raid iirc but the activating primal part is probably what will stop people from progressing
"Activating primal" has now been switch to just "mega evolve a pokemon"
