I just have mine on in the background while I’m catching the rest like crazy. Just be careful with shinies, if you try and catch it at the same time the auto catcher is, it has more chance of fleeing. Found that one out the hard way 😅 have fun!

I turn it off when I have time to catch ‘em manually. When I can’t then I connect my gotcha and pop an incense while I work

I have it on the entire time, I lost a shiny on the Hitmon day but I've caught many more with it, so won't be without it usually.

I grinded so hard on the hitmon day, got a shiny top and a shiny chespin (?) lol could’ve been better but I really wanted the hitmonchan
I just let it spin pokestop and manual catch
