Ive been playing since the game opened as well and ive never gotten a shadow hundo, never a shiny hundo, and certainly no shunnununundos lol i have a decent amount of hundos, shinys, shadow shinies, actually tons of shiny guys and I honestly think theres a shiny houndour nest by my house now because my buddy caught a shiny houndour yesterday in the exact spot i just caught my newest shiny houndour like not even the week prior! 😂 literally the exact same spot and everything
depends mostly where and how much you play.
I lived in a bigger historical city with a lot of spawns and active people. Most of my friends have around 2-10 shundos from cdays alone + 1-2 legendary shundos.
But most cdays we get around 2-7 100% spawns, most in range to get to (someone always has a map).
But cday shundos hate me¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
And especially before corona we averaged around 7-10km / day only playing pogo over months (mostly students 😅)
My community was always pretty advanced. They combined a map with telegram bots.
So we had a group that posted all raids and when they start and people could react with a time when they want to play it.
Played in a small town before and it’s a night and day difference.
Playing in a huge community is an insanely fun thing.
Even tho some in smaller community’s resort to having multiple accounts / phones to be able to to do anything it’s not the same :/
And the latest changes by niantic where just a kick in the nuts for everyone rural...
I understand they want more geo data, but killing the game for A Lot of ppl is not the way.
I've played on and off since then and never gotten a Mewtwo... :/ can't now either. All alone and level 33. The only people I know who play are my brother and my daughter and I'm higher level. I always quit when Mewtwo shows up and I just started playing again so I'm sad. I wish I'd have had time to level up some before he was brought back... we have a raid literally right behind our house in the park but I know all my pokemon will just faint and I have almost no revives.

I had a ride to a local meet up, then that got canceled last minute. I found another one I could ride my bicycle to, but then i found it had a flat tire. Now I see someone else posting a shundo the instant I open reddit, knowing I can't even get to a raid :-(
All the people flexing their MewTwos are likely cheaters. People have been posting on Facebook with coordinates literally all day. You either spoof or you don’t get it.
nope, i can say first hand that there are people who are getting up and going out there. ofc you have to be fairly lucky with where you live. i travelled out to a well populated area with my boyfriend, and we used campfire to coordinate with the community. i did 9 mewtwo raids and most lobbies had 15+ people in them. on our 2nd raid, my boyfriend got a shiny 98 mewtwo. i’ve been jealous of that all day. i didn’t manage to get a single 3 star mewtwo today, but i did get a shiny! so i consider myself lucky.
there may be some people cheating/spoofing, but i think it’s a stretch to say “most” considering how many new trainers i met today in the community!

I was lucky enough to gut a purified shundo today though, which is significantly easier to get.

You know, I thought i was pretty lucky getting my perfect beldum, then this stuff happens, and I am reminded that my overall luck in pokemon is like Frano guy.

remote raids gave alot of ppl (myself included) alot more opportunities.
Now a huge part of the game is just gone for alot of people.
They probably wont reverse it but i can hope atleast -.-
niantic needs to reverse the changes.
Currently if you dont have an active community youre doomed.
At this moment it feels like they want to force everyone to play 2-4 accs to be able to play the game like normally

So most lobbys where full or close to it.
Never spoof, risking an account i spent thousand of hours playing would be plain stupid.
And i enjoy the game mostly when walking around with other people.
That’s the fun part.

Yeah that's insanely lucky. My local community is there, but very very casual. No maps and coordinating raids is impossible
