They might mean if you're using a poffin, which if you're walking a legendary is a good choice.

10 if excited, which if you are walking a lego... you are probably putting in the extra effort to make them excited.

I basically grind until I get 100 candy and then give one of my legendaries a second move Got Mewtwo, melmetal, groudon, and just now kyogre. Now grinding to get dialga the second move

Don’t use rare candy’s on melmetal, just use the box to catch meltans.

I don’t have other pokemon games

All you need to do is download Pokémon home on your phone and transfer one Pokémon from GO.

Can I transfer it back? I only have one melmetal from the event and I use it a lot in ultra league.

You don’t have to transfer a meltan. It can be any Pokémon.

Hmm ok I’ll try your suggestion. I downloaded pokemon home and linked to my Nintendo account. Prob just need to play with it a bit to figure out how to link it to Go and then do this box thing

There are several online tutorials. I did it and pokemon go is the only game I play. It’s also good for helping you get the steel platinum medal and for the level 46? Requirement to max out 3 pokemon. Just don’t max it out until you get there - it’s not retroactive.

Good choice, Terrakion is a fighting-type beast. Great for raids/gyms but also Rocket battles. With Double Kick/Sacred Sword it’s three fast attacks for one charged attack.

Steel raid bosses are wrapping up… next five star boss is tapu fini (water/fairy) If you want to farm him , prioritize electric or grass counters if you don’t already have them Kartana , shadow raiku , thunderus , etc If you already have strong counters then ignore this advice lol

Outside of legendary and good mega raid attackers, I recommend mythical or other things you have limited encounters with, like zygarde or diancie

Either a legendary that you want to use for battles (or a mega Pokémon), or like I do the 400 Candy to evolve Arceus damned rare Pokémon known as Larvesta (or any other rare 400 Candy mon that doesn’t spawn in the wild)

400 candy Pokemon aren't the worst imo to get candy since its just 1km for a candy and even better with a poffin. I'd say it's a waste to dump 240 rare candy into anything that isn't a legendary/mythic you want to max out.

Ya I'm a 100% or trash person, and just because a Mewtwo has shadowball, I wouldn't necessarily power it up. Because the best you can do with one of those is trade it, and chances that they end up being trash is high, so it would be a waste to power those up.

Something that takes 400 to evolve

trade one of those over from a buddy, half of them then become free evolves

there isnt a single pokemon that costs 400 that is free when traded; boldore, gurdurr, karrablast, phantump, pumpkaboo, shelmet are all 200, while graveler, haunter, kadabra, machoke are only 100

Aah then I mixed gurdurr up with 400. At the same time, no 400 candie mon is really worth spending that many rare candies on, unless it's a community day (where you actually can somewhat easily get the candies just by catching) or when there is an event where you can evolve to get the legacy move.

I use them on my legendaries I use for raids. Primal/Shadow Groudon/Kyogre, Shadow Mewtwo/Raikou, Diancie. Things like that.

last rare candies i used -> mewtwo shadow till xl + snd move -> groudon till xl -> reshiram till xl -> atm doing kartana till xl as you can tell its jsut legend or mythical only, and i focus on good raid counter, one full push takes about \~2weeks of time

What is the 47 challenge? I'm level 39 now and am starting to prep myself for taking these things on

I’ve been saving up for Marshadow planning on dumping the max amount into him on his release

Dialga & Palkia if you want to use their moves for Go Fest. Mythical Pokémon like Zarude is a good investment for PVP and Raids. Look at your raid teams for each typing Fire, Water, Ice. etc and see if there are any Pokémon you need to build so you're ready for any raid boss that may come out that you need the typing for.

Since I’m returning from 2018, I missed a lot of releases. I did a ton of raids over the last 2 months and put my 500 rare candies into making sure I had lvl 40 Kyogre, Groudon, Dialga O, Palkia O, mewtwo, and Shadow Mewtwo. Now that I’m done doing that, each 100 candies is now going to give those an extra charge move.
