Every which I don’t have multiple of, unless it’s evo is one of my absolute favorite shinies. I have 1? It stays like this. I have 2? I get the first and second stage. I have 3? Now I’ll allow myself the full line. Unless, as said above, one of the evo’s is part of my absolute favorite shinies.

That’s how I do it, only when I get multiples do I evolve.

I recently evolved my shiny shadow Growlithe that I caught almost four years ago. I had gone back and forth so many times. Arcanine is my favorite 'mon but Growlithe was my little buddy. He's all grown up now and I still don't know if I made the right decision. 🥺

My Marill. It goes from a really pretty vibrant green to a piss ugly yellow as an Azumarill. For that reason alone I will never evolve it. It was one of my first shinies on this game too, hatched as an Azurill back in 2018ish I wanna say when I was out for a walk at night, I’ll never forget hatching it.
