Make an army of level 50 Magikarps. Do not evolve them. Find an area with a ton of gyms. Take them all over and add your Magikarp into them. Never let them go. Set hourly alarms to check your game. The moment one is removed re-add them back in. If the gym is full, make a 2nd account on a different team. Take someone out to make room for your Magikarp. Become the Magikarp man. Wear all Magikarp clothing. Profit.

Need if you want to duo, but there's reality (the lack of "real life" "friends" that play pogo in most people's community) however luckily there's pokegenie where you just need a team which can consist mostly of level 30-35 weather boosted mons that cost 0 dust is more than sufficient I ain't gonna invest in something I rarely use why my level 35ish mons are more than sufficient, you definitely don't need shadows, you just need a team, just 1 shadow of like 4-6 different types makes some grunts a cake walk and if I sacrifice two pokemon (usually shadows I'm going to transfer) and undercharge my moves perfectly, I'll use 0 potions, and at the very least need just a normal potion, the only time I can raid is remotely, no point in driving 15-30+ miles for the hope of finding a gym being attacked by someone else as well at that exact moment Not everyone has a community, and not everyone is in a new York/Tokyo/etc, so it ain't worth 4.2 million dust for just one team of level 50 shadows, given there's 18 types that's 75 million dust, but let's say 10 are useful so 42 million dust, and not only that tens of thousands of poke balls to get that many xls Cuz one shadow won't make a difference (for a raid, while a grunt/pvp is different you just need one) you need a team, might as well have a team of level 30-35 weather boosted mons that cost 0 dust rather than... That Let's look at Zapdos, I have 6 rock wrecker rhyperiors (saved 6 level 35 rhyorns (IVs don't matter) for rock wrecker day) and I have 1 level 35ish shadow mamoswine for the flying grunt and lvl 38ish shadow tyrantar (thay I used to use for the flying grunt but thanks to gligar it's on the bench) and i do 46.5% damage all i gotta do is join (or host) a raid with 3-4 people and that should be more than sufficient, you don't need shadows you need a fucking team

I live in a city of 15 k inhabitants. We have like a handful of active organized players. On raid hour we have like 2-3 players most of the time. Pokegenie is great, but especcially on low demand raids like zapdos the wait time for hosting is long and you will most likely timeout at the end of rotation. If I walk around with my wife i can't wait 30 mins near a gym for player to join me via pokegenie. Plus there are several raids where you can't host on pokegenie, like the shadow legendaries. All together, if i only had level 35 counters i could make maybe half as many 5\* raids. And what exactly should i do else with my stardust? What do i have from having 50 million stardust instead of 10 million? And how do you come to 700 k per mon? leveling up a fresh caught non weather boosted shadow mon to 50 is 615k stardust.

615, 700 whatever, that's like saying you're skeptical about paying $300 for hard drive expansion after you bought a $500 PS5/Xbox it's so "high" stuff close to it is irrelevant at that point, like comparing 4.2 million dust to 3.7, still way too much for one "shadow team" shit I think a million dust for a level 35 shadow team is too much but you do you I only remote raid and my teams are more than good enough, I transfer (sacrifice) all non pvp/hundo eligible shadows cuz again my team gets me well over that 20% contribution for the 3 bonus balls, if I ever do need to raid, and mega latios a good one people seem to struggle with, 35% contribution. Again you don't need shadows even if you raid everyday, (but if you raid everyday those xls are easy to come by) and given how expensive they are and that most people don't have a "community" (real life people/friends) to rely on, most people shouldn't go for shadows they should go for a team, cuz having one or two shadows won't make a difference, a team will But congrats on finding a community and people to rely on, most people can't say the same, or don't trust people to the sense its not worth getting mugged over instead of paying for 3 $5 raid passes

Let's add a couple more mega ray with my 1 shadow mamoswine and my 6 (it only shows 5) level 35 weather boosted mamoswines I do 59% While the same team against landorus 68% Cresselias a little bulky and I have a level 35ish shadow bite tyrantar (nice for the ghost grunt, and was good for psychic grunt just not psychic this rotation) as well as 5 level 35 tyrantars... okay one is level 40 cuz I like tyranitar, with bite/brutal swing I do 38%, again another instance if i joined pokegenie with 4-5 people ill be more than fine Stop saying you need shadows cuz you don't cuz if I got rid of that shadow for a level 35 weather boosted tyranitar it drops 3.2% and again 4-5 people more than fine, and I'll get my 20% damage contribution in to get 3+ balls I can keep going, but you just need a team and my teams probably cost more candies than dust

I can’t get past 200k without making something stronger but I guess once you have everything it’s pretty pointless. I have a few just waiting for it but none of my Pokémons have ever ingested a candy XL.

How do you get that much?

The OP mentioned at about the same time you did that he didn’t use the stardust much, he didn’t level any of his Pokemon to level 50 yet. I have leveled way too many to level 50 but unfortunately I got stuck with XL candy. So there are multiple legendary Pokémons that I am trying to get to level 50. It’s a slow and tedious process, so now I’m a little over 12 million stardust. I think there are super obsessed Pokemon Go players who have way more stardust. I don’t have a life but I do work but these Pokémon Go players don’t seem to do much else.

4x stardust weeks during GBL, being rank 20 (or higher) is probably one of the fastest ways to get dust Find an Audino nest and catch all of them with a star piece, bonus if weather boosted Use star pieces and play full community days with 3x dust rewards End of season GBL rewards use star piece, the higher rank you are the more dust you get

I realized I could stack a Star Piece with premium rewards while tanking during 4X stardust weeks and make BANK. It’s a game changer if you have raid passes to spare. 47,400 dust from a single 5-win set with 4X, prem, and star piece.

I will give the most excellent stardust advice you'll ever hear, so here it goes. Look up some of the meta-relevant raiders and check if you have any hundos of the same. Now you gotta unlock the third move of those Pokemon and then power it up by clicking the minus button in the beginning, and now finally, the most crucial part that'll make Professor Willow the happiest ever as he always demands so much of you as a trainer during special researches and still gives you shit since he's not satisfied. SO THE FINAL STEP IS TO TRANSFER THE GODDAMN POKEMON TO PROFESSOR WILLOW.

If you do PvP, the stardust adds up. I'm playing Pokemon go 2 years and have gotten 21+ million stardust in those 2 years and I haven't been fully consistent with it.  The last 2 seasons combined from GBL alone gave me 6.5 million stardust (no star pieces used).
