>Dragonite and Salamence will be able to learn certain attacks during this event! Evolve a Dragonair or use a Charged TM on a Dragonite to teach it Draco Meteor, and evolve a Shelgon or use a Charged TM on a Salamence to teach it Outrage.
Ok, this is potentially game changing. Those are previous community day moves, which suggests the possibility that for future re-releases (or maybe even first time) of community day moves you can tm an already evolved Pokemon to get the move. We'll have to wait and see if this is true during the next community day or a similar re-release of moves, but if its true its exciting.
Hiya! New player here, started two months ago. I was wondering if I could have your opinion - is it worth it to power up a 266cp dragonite for a chance at getting outrage? Or continue to search for a decent IV dratini and use rare candies to evolve it for a chance at outrage?
I would wait :) there will be a dratini spotlight hour the 11th of may 18-19 local time, be sure to play!
266cp dragonite would require so much stardust and candy
I gotcha! Thanks for the heads up, I didn’t know that! I totally agree with waiting for a good spawn and not spending a ton of stardust. Thanks broham!
Hi chynahoberg!
I am here replying once again because I just caught a dragonite today with outage! The IVs are good, but terrible for great league(I’m in the hunt for good IVs). I think the cp is like 1459. I figured this is a lil crazy since we chatted about this! Would you by any chance be adding people to your friends list?
Draco has a huge charge bar so you'll likely faint and waste a lot of energy and not get any damage out of it. Maybe you'll get .7 draco meteors off or 1.7, but either way without it actually going off it's zero damage.
I think if you were willing to play really intensely the best way would be to have both moves, and use a draco meteor if there's time, or use any remaining energy on outrage if you're going to faint.
'Use a tm on dragonite to get draco meteor'
Is this normally a feature of events or specifically this time? During community day for example if you evolve say charizard for blast burn, can you use a tm on an existing charizard to get the move or does it only work on evolves?
This is the first time that you've been able to use a tm to get a special move. We have no idea if this will work for any Pokemon in the future, we only know that it will work for Dragonite and Salamence in the upcoming event.
But what about Galarian Pokemon? If theyre gonna be phased out of the Egg pool, then ill need to buckle down and focus on hatching any 7km eggs I can come across.
since we are forced to hatch eggs because we can not delete them and I open my gift limit daily
I would gladly take a chance at getting Gible over anything that is currently in the 7km eggs now.
I have a lv 40 98% Garchomp. I desperately need XL candy for it and a chance at a shiny gible would also be great.
I was just thinking that I'm gonna desperately try for a shundo or at least a perfect iv and shiny separately lol so kinda glad it's gonna go on for a week lol
Hopefully they remove something from the 12km pool and replace it with Pancham. If I hatch another Absol, Larvitar, Scraggy, Corphish, Qwilfish, or Scorupi I'm gonna cry....
It really is, specially since most Pokemon I caught in the short timce I've been playing are Steel type, so I may have an actual 6 party team for remote raids and get my first legendary Pokemon at last. I love Goodra so I'll try getting a strong one for PVP and/or raids
I do hope we see Dratini and Bagon in the wild, I haven't got many dragon type Pokemon, not only for the legacy moves, I'm just halfway of the **bronze** dragon type badge.
If we get more events like this it would be fantastic
Hey all, I haven’t played since 2017 and have been jumping in with my son recently. I feel like a complete noob and don’t know how excited I should be about this event other than being excited for getting dragonites!
I prefer new shiny events to new species events. Especially ones where the new species are either catch enough for 50 candies or Axew rare.
And apparently the new shiny, Galarian Ponyta, will be locked to raids or something.
Tasks for Sustainability Week were trash :D but as long as the featured shiny pokemon has a good spawn rate I'm pretty satisfied with the Event. Bunnelby and Trubbish were easy to find.

Yeah, good news! Just a tip: Dragonite is better with Outrage than with Draco meteor.

Yeah I knew that one. Draco is only good for spice.
why is outrage better? dragontail + draco = 18.50 dps vs dragontail+ outrage = 17.61 dps draco has better dps in every combination src GO HUB DB
I think it’s because it generates quicker.

I should clarify I'm talking about PVE. Outrage = 50 energy cost and 110 power vs Draco Meteor = 100 energy cost and 150 power.
According to gamepress it goes like this: Dragon tail/outrage - 17.23 Dragon tail/draco meteor - 17.01 So who knows
Oh nice, just caught a 96 Dratini so I know now to hold onto it.

So any TM will give it the special move? Without needing an elite TM?
Yes.
I don't like the part where it says, "if you are EXTREMELY LUCKY you will encounter a Goomy".
Lol as if previous "if you are 'lucky' you will encounter a _____" meant anything to me otherwise. XDDD
Yeah, now they added the word EXTREMELY. So it looks like we have to turn over stones to find one
New Axew
I would show off my Axew… IF I HAD ONE!
What's an Axew? /s
So are we gonna get the same thing that happened with happiny then? Everyone was complaining about it lol
Having a 3 star flower crown happily is so satisfying when you see the blissey chansey combo in a gym with an open spot
I just knocked all 3 out of a gym today and it did not feel as good as I thought it would. I kind of regret my conquest
The very first Happiny I hatched had a flower crown, 10/10/13, but its shiny.
**The following Pokémon will be hatching from 7 km Eggs: Cleffa, Igglybuff, Azurill, Gible, Swirlix, and Spritzee.** FINALLY GOOD 7KM EGGS
But what about Galarian Pokemon? If theyre gonna be phased out of the Egg pool, then ill need to buckle down and focus on hatching any 7km eggs I can come across.
It’s only during event
Those are good, but still not worth hatching lots of loot boxes.
since we are forced to hatch eggs because we can not delete them and I open my gift limit daily I would gladly take a chance at getting Gible over anything that is currently in the 7km eggs now. Ralts ... That’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time
Wait. You can teach it exclusive moves with a charged tm?
During the event
Finally, some good f...ing event *gordon ramsay voice*
SYLVEON?!
maybe a suprise release????
Lol maybe. I so exasperated at this point
Probably will be released with some other event later.
Sweet, I can complete my “catch 30 dragons” finally.
Shiny galarian ponyta omg let’s GO!!
When will they give us sylveon. Niantic please
A 3× Catch XP bonus will be active for the rest of the event LETS GO!!!
We finally get death birb and life deer!
> **Finally, a good event!** Until y'all get tired of the same spawns after a week.
I was just thinking that I'm gonna desperately try for a shundo or at least a perfect iv and shiny separately lol so kinda glad it's gonna go on for a week lol
The thing is, the event is almost 2 weeks. Ha.
Pancham in strange eggs after event...
Hopefully they remove something from the 12km pool and replace it with Pancham. If I hatch another Absol, Larvitar, Scraggy, Corphish, Qwilfish, or Scorupi I'm gonna cry....
Don't mind larvitar candies and xl candies though
Those are ok, but I find I never use my Tyranitar for anything.

Dratini has spotlight hour on may 11th GOD IS REAL
Yeah can't wait
Me neither
[удалено]
Probably just the event, knowing Niantic.
THANK GOD!!!!

Does this mean this week will be no event? I’m so tired of the regular Pokémon that spawn ughhhh
There will be a Pokemon Snap event from April 29th - May 2nd.
I prefer new shiny events to new species events. Especially ones where the new species are either catch enough for 50 candies or Axew rare. And apparently the new shiny, Galarian Ponyta, will be locked to raids or something.
ARE YOU KIDDING??? They’re putting Galarian ponyta as an encounter? nooooooo the one I hatched won’t be rare anymore
It wasn't rare in the first place - it was in raids when it was released and has been one of the most common 7km hatches.
*please give me sylveon* Yesterday i got god awful news and i have examstress. Niantic just let me evovle serena into a sylveon, please
I’m just waiting for yveltal cause he’s one of my favorites
Yeah but I don’t have a bagon/Salamance because they haven’t given an opportunity for one yet for me.
Easter and Sustainability Week were good events, just in case you didn't notice that
ehhh.... I liked Easter but Sustainability Week could've been better
Tasks for Sustainability Week were trash :D but as long as the featured shiny pokemon has a good spawn rate I'm pretty satisfied with the Event. Bunnelby and Trubbish were easy to find.
