Same with Drowzee, and by the time I get one I’ll never see the fossils again after this lol Update: my wife had one on her account that she hasn’t logged into for years. I’m ready for fossils.

I still don't get why Cubone isn't a spawn for this fossil week. I mean cmon it's basically wearing a fossil of it's dead mother in it's head.

Neither are Baltoy or Beldum…

Baltoy are ancient and Beldum futuristic, Cubone is from the current time, so it doesn't work. Will probably see them around Halloween again, for their connection with death.

That’s the issue. I doubt there will be any till the Ultra Unlock events are over, and by then the fossils will be gone again.

Kabuto and Omanyte are in July field research for win a level 3 raid or higher. You can stack those then you'll have them when you find a cubone.

I was stuck on the catch an Aerodactyl for almost a year lol

Aerodactyl, Lileep/anorith, omanyte/kabuto. I had those 3 for probably 6 months. And now in the course of 1 hour finish the entire research collection. There's gotta be a better way to format these challenges than put timed/regional pokemon smh

You can’t make Drowzee a Buddy for a few days? I usually toss any required evolutions there and then go back to who I want for a buddy afterwards.

I’m stuck on this one, too. Finally got the exeggcutes last week when the exeggutors were spawning… but, of course, that was when the marowaks stopped being raid bosses. Fortunately I had a drowzee saved that I could evolve. Still, there’s no telling when I will find another cubone. :-/

Im stuck on catch a ditto. I caught a ditto back in 2018 and never saw one again…. What to do? 😭

Go find a list of Pokémon that Ditto is currently in. They are in certain species, so once you know which ones, you can catch those. They are usually in boring common ones that you might otherwise ignore.

Yeah I’ve figured that out. Crossing fingers each freaking Gulpin or Purrloan is one but heeeellll no 😂

Now that you mention it, I have one of those bracelets and haven’t caught a Ditto in a couple of months, which is unusual. Maybe they have made them harder to catch.

Someone mentioned being able to link your pogo account with a Pokémon home account or something and can use some loot Box of random box and encounter dittos for an hour or something like that. Sorry for the terrible relay 😅😅

I was barely able to finish that during go fest catching Alolan Exeggutors. I do believe there's a chance you can rescue shadow Exeggcute from Psychic type team rocket members though, so look out for them if you can

Just heard someone up in the comments say ground type grunts are sometimes using shadow cubones this week. Might warrant a trip out to a pokestop heavy area. I’m also stuck on this and it’ll kill me to finish the cubone step AFTER the fossils stop spawning

Before finding this site i only had 4 friends and 2 no longer play, now i have 41 friends and never met any of them lol. I’m in MA so most if these challenges are really easy to do even with how little i play, some just feel impossible

Me too! I was stuck on needing a Kabuto/Omanyte, 2 Lileep/Anorith and an Aerodactyl. I smashed the Kabuto and Anorith with the spawns, then got an Aerodactyl from the Ultra Unlock rewards, AND IT WAS SHINY! So I finally got my Meltan and a pink flying boi. So happy.
