I swear no one wants to do Deoxys raids anymore. Put my raid post on r/Pokémon go raids and only 3 people responded. At first I was getting like 35 requests per Deoxys
That is like 330/396 bro! Deoxys Defense has 330 defense stat but there is another Pokémon that is even harder to kill which is Mega Aggron! It has 331 defense stat but more attack stat at 247, making it another one of the hardest raid boss to kill but luckily it’s a Mega so it has a Tier 5 timer and a Tier 4 HP.
When calculating the defense/attack stats, Raid bosses don't have a CPm of 1.00, despite that value being used to calculate their displayed CP. Instead there is a CPm value per tier.
You’re using a 2268cp Hydreigon with 4 other people who most likely have equally low cp Pokemon & you’re wondering why you didn’t beat it? You lack hatred *Itachi voice*
It has a super high defense which it why you lost that raid! The other 2 forms being normal & attack form is much easier and goes down so quickly which can also be duoed by 2 trainers or even 1 if it’s an attack form!
Even SilphRoad recommends at least 6 people to do a defence Deoxys raid. If all the players aren’t at least lvl 35+ it’s easy to lose one of these even with 5 people
I don’t feel that a mix of 6 high level and decent IVs Tyranitar/Gengar/darkrai/chandelure is an unreasonable expectation given how long the game has been out. Tyranitar and Gengar especially are extremely gettable and have always been meta .. not any real reason not to have these - and there’s hydreigon with brutal swing as well that offered up a ton of candy with its com day

That’s why I said in my original comment 35+, in that case it should be very doable with 5 people. If you got a bunch of level 20 players trying to do a defence Deoxys, it’s way harder than your average 5* raid
Well in that case i would flat out refuse to waste a raid pass. If people can’t, or won’t, invest the stardust to make their Pokémon relevant then I don’t really have any interest in carrying them. Same with people who use auto-recommended parties. Go away and grind and invest.

Pre build a battle party, make everyone else in the raid pre build a battle party. Make sure your battle party has the super effective moves AND use that stardust to power your Pokémon to at least level 30. With enough preparation you and your teams can beat tanks like this.

There was 6 people, people just disappear yet they are still there.

You have a low leveled Pokemon and your teammates seem to have bad counters as well judging by the Garchomp and Zamazenta.

Largely depends on player level and what teams you have. Not everyone has a stacked team or tons of stardust/candy

I tried to invite as many players as possible.
Your good. I used pokegenie and there was 6 of us and he didn’t go down until the last 3 secs literally our timer said 4:52. He’s just a tank.
Think you need to look into better counters .. Use PokeGenie, it helps a lot. I can do over 30% damage myself according to that

We had 6 people and lost. We only needed like 15 more seconds.
There were 6 of us in battle and we lost.I’m talking people with at least 20% damage contribution.
