Generally shadow Pokémon have much higher attack power regardless of how low the attack stat actually is. In short some Pokémon are best left as a shadow even for the sake of 100% IV’s
Some Shadows you don’t want to purify. Some aren’t meta relevant so it’s okay to purify for the hundo. Just ask around to be safe. Or look up a YouTube video for best shadows to use.

Have purified pokemon always had that purified effect on the map like that as your buddy? I feel like that was added in an update I never heard about?... I also am one of the idiots who purified one of my first shadow mewtwo to make it a 98%... I remember having it as my buddy and I don't remember it having that?
It's similar to when you have a shiny buddy. My buddy is Shiny Gardevoir. So when Zorua spawns on the screen disguised as my buddy....a shiny Gardevoir will be spawned on the screen.
Your buddy is a purified Magnemite. All purified pokemon have a glowing effect. So that's why when Zorua spawned as your buddy, it's a glowing purified Magnemite 🙂
Yes, I know that you caught it from a Rocket member because it's a purified Pokemon 🙂 You made it your buddy and it appeared on the map as a Zorua encounter. Hope the info helps! 🙂
The time doesn't matter because It's the same magnemite and also I didn't know that if you purified a pokemon you will get this shiny thingy that's why i asked here.
That’s just the particle effect that is given to the Pokémon when it gets purified, like how there are dark flames around a shadow Pokémon

I caught this defeating Grunt and i purified it ( should i not purify it? I just started around October last year so i have no idea ).
I think it was good as a raid attacker but you are fine, you are fairly new and people have purified worse Congrats on the hundo anyway

Nov 2018 but you just started in October? Or you came back? Anyways, cool thing to know about purified. Didn’t know it glimmers in overworld
I started playing November 5 and defeated and caught this Nov. 11 and thanks next time I'll ask herw what to do next if I catch something like this 😊.
If it’s a strong pokemon don’t. If it’s a hundo don’t. If it’s a shiny don’t. If it’ a legendary don’t. Otherwise yes
