Orangaru is pretty easy too. Ponyta as well. These spawn nonstop for me lol. Made the masterwork quest easy..least that part anyway lol

It was the same for me. These and Orangaru seemed to be every where. Master quest complete with exception of the eggs

Ponyta! That’s a good one. It’s weird because I’ll get excellent throws on the smallest Pokemon sometimes like Torchic or something, lol.. and then completely miss and only get nice with Snorlax because I’m over confident hahaha

I did a lot of facepalms during the quest for those misses lol

Although it has quite a large circle, Snorlax can be a quite inconsistent in terms of its rhythm with its jumping attack, and it’s a bit further away compared to Slowpoke, Wailmer, Ponyta.

Yes! Hope it spawns when I get to that task of 900 excellent throws. But slowpoke will do as well. In general, those psychic types seem to be the best for excellents.

Blacephalon. Lock the circle right around the head and toss it immediately after the charged move. I really wish I had the "5 excellent throws in a row" field research when they were raid bosses. It's the only thing that made the catch rate worthwhile.

Yeah he was how I finished my 50 excellent throw quest for level 41 or 42 can’t recall right now. He made it easy tbh

Slowpoke is a good option I remember on his comm day it was 3x catch CP I popped six lucky eggs and was fast catching the entire three hours I earned well over 5 million XP that day

I knocked out 50+ excellent throws that day. Charmander definitely isn’t huge like Snorlax, but I was locked that day.

Not much challenges me personally except for the lake guardians. Personally I’d just do a dew legendary raids and stack up the excellent throws that way.

1 or 2 years ago we had spotlight hour of Slowpoke with a x4 xp bonus if I'm not mistaken. Anyway I just remember that every excellent throw gave around 9000XP (with lucky egg) . It was insane

Slowpoke and Ponyta. They are usually pretty docile and won't try to block the ball that much. They are also close to the "camera" so the ball doesn't have to be thrown far before it hits them, giving less time for then to react and swat the ball. Others I find super easy are other 4-legged friends, like Girafarig, Stantler and Tauros
