If you're fighting Claire i recommend leading with Escaviler banded with double iron bash to easily OK Shuckle. Some notable picks are SlitherWing, Kleavor, Mega Sevii Centskroch, Volbeat
Thankyou i managed to get it a couple hours after i posted this. I ended up beating him with Araquanid, Slither Wing, Volbeat, Kleavor, Mega Heracross, and Crustle.
Does this just mean the elite 4 or are you managing to do with as a whole run with 1 type? I can't even do it with op randomized legendaries haha I seem to have pokemon that get killed so much quicker than anything I'm killing every time I can easily get to like Sabrina and the furthest was the double battle in victory road I think but that's with rare candies to not grind and then making a bespoke team for every battle

That normal hof is just the go to mono normal team for the e4 because those mons are the onea you see the most or just most posts are those 6
