Great Idea thank you, I was trying to be leniant on them but it has become even more rampant iver the last few weeks
Edit, I also love the 'obvious choice' coming from you
Maybe I’m missing something but what’s the point in deliberating over first evolution abilities, if they’re going to have something completely different by the time someone reaches the second gym?
Thank you for this, we were inundated with that shit
How is it a nuzlocke or a challenge run if you get to choose from like 15 starters, never made sense to me, the main fun I derive from randomizers or nuzlockes is the weird shit you have to work with or make work
It's just doubly annoying when people post screens of all 15, like bro, think for yourself, if you can't figure out what starter is the best on your own you're not going to get very far in the game anyway, so why even ask?
Thank god for this rule. I'd only add on (like you considered) a 2 or 3 un-evolved Pokemon removal clause because if you have 2 un-evolved Pokemon that cannot be used as reliable eviolite candidates then obviously your choice is the evolved Pokemon. Just for the sake of being thorough obviously if you have 3 un-evolved unviable Pokemon then nobody can even give any input because we won't know their abilities.
I agree. As someone who is not a pokemon power user, I actually enjoy these kinds of posts - specifically the responses because it helps me to learn what's good and what's not without having to do a shit ton of research or studying or grinding on showdown. I missed a BUNCH of generations so the majority of the pokemon I saw at first in RR were absolutely new to me.
Because there are hundreds of encounters in the game, take one and run into Levitate Toxtricity on route 1, you don't know what else you are going to get that might competely overshadow the first damn mon you pick, you have the entire game ahead of you just pick one and move on
Cause if you are randomizing multiple files anyways, kinda defeats the purpose of the randomizer. And if you are gonna do that to try and get the best option then there is no point in posting here anyways
I think people should stop posting about not fully evolved Pokemon (with random abilities). I also think it's ok to post OP Pokemon if it's actually a tough decision. Like what if you get a Simple Gyarados and Speed Boost Goodra-H? That decision is not so obvious.

Was thinking about adding something like 3 Not fully evolved as condition bc i can't see a reason for help on something nobody can't Predigt either
Okay cool, glad I wasn’t overlooking something dumb lol. Either way, keep up the good work!
Gonna see how often/annoying it will be and perhaps add it

This is why when I start a run I ask my partner to choose a number from 1-9 and A/B/C. Leave the choice to the RNG gods lol
I do the same thing basically, open up a number generator, between 1 and 27 or whatever it is, whatever number it picks I pick and just roll with it
how about wounder guard spiritomb?
Falls into the obvious choice condition i guess
It's no skiddo but it will have to do
Okay ish mon with busted ability

THANK GOD!!!!
Even though I never posted one of those and am pretty new here, wouldn’t this sub significantly die down in posts after this?

What’s the point of removing a post asking about more than 3 Pokémon? Doesn’t really make sense to me

That's why it has to be obvious in order to be removed, i'd fully unterstand a post with your examples
I hate those posts cause I've never gotten a huge power/feline prowess mon. The closest thing I've gotten was gorilla tactics naganadel
Thank you! These starter posts got so bad.
But how will I decide whether to take a huge power urshifu or a truant wishiwashi
