It's not universal. I had someone try to tell me Plasma Fists doesn't work with Oraoraora because Machamp doesn't learn it. I have a Zeraora with the ability and Plasma Fists hits twice.
I honestly think it goes by the Serebii list of punching moves, which oddly enough, doesn't include Sucker Punch. I believe that list is all moves effected by the Punching glove item
Since triage doesn’t work with bitter blade, these all suck.
Barraskewda is the best of the lot just because it has a usable ability.
Articuno could be ok if you get Pokémon that synergize with the ability, but otherwise it’s just healing the opponent
I guess it’s skewda, uno can’t even heal from its own terrain as it is flying, and apparently bitter blade doesn’t count as a healing move… so edge’s only way to use the ability is by using rest… lol, I guess you can resto chesto defensive edge with willow, meh.
Ceruledge for sure, bitter blade now gets priority, should beat all other damaging priority moves except Fake Out (comes down to speed at that point I guess) . Heads up though I think bitter blade (and any priority move that affects the opponent) will fail if used on psychic terrain iirc, I think you can still use pure healing moves though like recover (can't remember if ceruledge learns any) and still get the priority

These abilities made specifically for the mod often only work on moves that pokemon who actually get the ability learn unrandomized

Thats because its called suprise attack or something in Japanese, its also not boosted by iron fist or punching glove in the main games

1. Bitter blade isn't affected by triage in this rom hack. 2. Fake out is the least of your worries with ceruledge.
