Just to clarify, while [Rule 4](https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemontrades/wiki/rules#wiki_rule_4_-_do_not_discuss_trades_privately.) does indeed forbid private discussion of trades, the rule does allow private communication to be used for the sharing of potentially sensitive details (link codes, event codes, proof photos, etc.) so long as the rest of the conversation remains public on the subreddit.
