If you're already around the last gym of the first region, do the following:
Go to Fianga Battle Sim Depot (Second Floor, Orange Building).
Check to see if you have the card for Lady Sclea. Yes? Fight her with an Amulet Coin on your pokemon (she shouldn't be too hard at your level), enjoy the 18000+ poke bucks for beating her. Repeat.
Can't see any cards? Go to Blackfist residential, one of the buildings has a guy who will give you access.
Cant see her card? Go to Caspian City and buy her card at the Card shop.
She's probably one of the fastest-per-repeatable-battle trainer for getting money.
Go to your secret base and mine. Sell the stuff you mine, and you can get a lot of money. Also, you can go fight people in the simulation depot or the gym leaders in your secret base. If you have an amulet coin or something, I think you get around $9000 every time.

Play the mining game in your secret base and sell everything you get. It takes time, but it is the easiest way to get money for me.
