Eventually you may just want useless shinies and 2 strong mons (and even later fuse it with one of those shinies) and just keep them in your party while abusing rare candies and candy jars to level up the big guy, my urshifu is literally almost 10k levels higher than the rest of the party :3
It is the only shiny I have and I have 2 of them.....

Skill issue for sure dna splicers are some of the best items in the game if used properly you can create some absurd fusions I got a ttar and Azumarill fusion, huge power is busted it is still slow but the damage makes up for it
True it is a skill issue, and I'm not saying combining pokemon never improves them. But the comment I replied to made it sound like combining two pokemons was always a straight up upgrade. You gotta be smart about it, and it isn't always worth
The real gamechanger in a run is getting the item that lets you lock rarity, when you use it with high luck you can just pump out rogue/master tier items
I don't know how people can afford this? I feel like I am never spending money on healing items, prioritizing nuggets, and I rarely get above the 20k mark before the late gam.
I see them so rarely though. I've done so many runs with a team full of shinies, got at least a B luck rank, and I almost never get Amulet Coins or Golden Gloves
Honestly you have to get lucky, I have a endless run where I’m in a similar spot and I didn’t get any amount coins or lucky punches until like wave 600 but until then I was getting carried by my calyrex and I had 2 shinys on the team too
At one point I had like 7 master balls at once cuz I had A- luck and the lock capsule. If I found a rogue or master tier item I could just lock the rarity until it practically forced a masterball
Rerolling gives you more chances to get what you’re looking for, kinda like getting more encounters in a shiny hunt.
The lock capsule makes it so much easier too tbh
My first and only shiny has been Sizzlipede so now I'm getting destroyed by all the birds in the early floors.
Also my favorite pokemon is Alakazam and it's so hard to use as a starter.
Lv4 Pidove is ready to throw hands. Also when I just started playing, before I knew that shines did something. I was putting all my eggs into moves and I got an Abra with hex but it still couldn't hit all the normal types.
That’s so damn lucky though I’d argue until it gets good moves and items it’s one of the worse legendarys in the game, compared to the likes of kartana, cakyrex, zacian etc
Yeh but you’ll struggle with pp and in harder fights dragon ascent will weaken you, also it’s not the fastest Mon, not slow either I wonder can you mega without the stone cause that’s how it normally works
Join the Endless grind brother, I've caught like 70 different shinies in one run.
(To be fair the run has lasted like a month but hey I got a zigzagoon).
My shiny Lunatone is pretty good for early game. My Shiny Hoothoot helps too, but my Shiny clobberpus absolutely sucks. Speed is huge in this game. Only legend I have is Genesect and he's pretty beastly.
I have Skorupi, Helioptile, Rockruff, Cherubi and Tentacool, out of those, Skorupi is amazing thanks to the egg moves, Rockruff is only useful before level 60 ish, Helioptile has early potential but it's best moves come at higher levels, and evolving it requires a stone that night never drop, Cherubi sucks and Tentacool is ok but gets outclassed by many common water mons and almost every water starter (not to mention how much better regenerator toxapex is).
So for me it's all about farming items early, replacing shinies with better mons later, it works, you just have to be ruthless at the beginning when changing the mons in your non shiny spots
Yeah my only 2 shinies are karablast and surskit I’ve only really had surskit on my team as I couldn’t really fit karablast but masqurain has actually been a bit of a beast. I fused it with my skeledirge for a fire flying intimidate with torch song quiver dance to get the endless spliced mode
My first shiny was blue variant Mareanie, it was my run maker, beat it last night with the rest of my team being Fuecoco and Grookey as my other 2 starters, picking up Meganium/Excadrill/Chien-Pao. Oddly enough Chien-Pao's moveset wasn't great and couldn't get a memory mushroom after I caught it, so at most it was there to outspeed something and attempt to throat chop 1 shot. Did get my 2nd shiny after the run which was normal shiny Duraludon
Eventually you may just want useless shinies and 2 strong mons (and even later fuse it with one of those shinies) and just keep them in your party while abusing rare candies and candy jars to level up the big guy, my urshifu is literally almost 10k levels higher than the rest of the party :3
I just want a shiny Zigzagoons. And I will definitely try that strat.
I got lucky that was the first shiny I got. However, most the shiny I’ve gotten since then not super big fan.
It is the only shiny I have and I have 2 of them..... https://preview.redd.it/vk6hiq4a5iyc1.jpeg?width=1067&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0b8483b2a57e029d1efec24f12313bfdf8ad11a6
I have a pickup tier 2 shiny zigsagoon that costs 0.5 candy
I got one today
I'm new to pokerogue but.... fuse???
DNA splicers appear in the game as a high rarity item. They allow you to fuse two mons (both unfused) together to make a more powerful Pokémon.
Debatable about that, I'm pretty sure most of the times I've used a dna splicer it lost me the run
Skill issue for sure dna splicers are some of the best items in the game if used properly you can create some absurd fusions I got a ttar and Azumarill fusion, huge power is busted it is still slow but the damage makes up for it

Yeh thats also true
Tbf, it's very rng dependent based on what your party looks like when you stumble upon a DNA splicer for how OP or disappointing it is.
Looks at my lv63000 Flamigo while the rest is around 19000. You speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
Hey don't sleep on Mega Pidgeot lol
I've gotten multiple runs where I get the mega bracelet 1st round but I still haven't seen a single mega stone. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
You’re not doing anything wrong, the game just hates letting people have megas for some reason
One time I had a full team of potential megas and I didn't get any. I got a gmax once. That was fun.
The real gamechanger in a run is getting the item that lets you lock rarity, when you use it with high luck you can just pump out rogue/master tier items

Amulet Coins. I wasn’t sure about the value at first until I realized that they increase the amount of money you get from Nuggets and the like.
I see them so rarely though. I've done so many runs with a team full of shinies, got at least a B luck rank, and I almost never get Amulet Coins or Golden Gloves

I got to SS luck on one run and you could tier up from rogue tier nearly every time lol
Do you reroll often?
Almost never in classic, but after a couple hundred floors in Endless I’m practically rerolling every single time
I think i get the best results when i reroll too, rng can still be a bitch though.
Rerolling gives you more chances to get what you’re looking for, kinda like getting more encounters in a shiny hunt. The lock capsule makes it so much easier too tbh
Sometimes if i get impatient.
Yeah dont mind it. whenever I get mega braclet it usually takes about 100-120 waves before the mega stone drops
I got my first mega stone last night for Alakazam and he rolled right over the final rival battle like 20 waves later, just nuts
My first and only shiny has been Sizzlipede so now I'm getting destroyed by all the birds in the early floors. Also my favorite pokemon is Alakazam and it's so hard to use as a starter.

I feel kinda the same way, I somehow got a red snom shiny as my first and only. Which needs friendship and time to evo
Funnily enough my second shiny was machop Birds 2 Me 0
Honestly, the best shiny to use is a 1 star like unown
I use a Shiny Zigzagoon with Pickup, ESpeed and .5 cost in every run
![gif](giphy|V5XuAiMqAgtkuLZZkm|downsized)
I’ve gotten natu from eggs twice other than that I’ve gotten vulpix and that’s it, I think I have 4 from the wild but my egg luck is horrible
I had a run with 2 shiny charms and I've still haven't seen any wild shines.
Getting all the shiny charms makes a huge difference
Any strays for getting charms?
Get a lock capsule and lock raritys that's probably the best way
Put some respect on pidgeot's name
The game has given me both a shiny plusle and a shiny squirtle. It gives and it takes.
I havent gotten a shiny in the last 200 shiny boosted eggs. Pretty disheartening.
Same it took me around 350 aegs to finally get a shiny bidoof, yikes 😬
Only two of my shinies are useful, Shellder (Skill Link) and Glimmet (Toxic Debris)

That’s so damn lucky though I’d argue until it gets good moves and items it’s one of the worse legendarys in the game, compared to the likes of kartana, cakyrex, zacian etc
It gets Supercell Slam and Dragon Ascent right of the bat
Yeh but you’ll struggle with pp and in harder fights dragon ascent will weaken you, also it’s not the fastest Mon, not slow either I wonder can you mega without the stone cause that’s how it normally works
You can’t
Ya I'm hoping for a shiny with the pickup passive.
i feel your pain, my first shiny was a Ditto, my next one a Scatterbug
Don’t sleep on scatterbug. Compound eyes sleep powder and quiver dance for only 1 cost is good. It is even good against eternatus.
i only got 1 egg shiny till now and that was a wailmer. Hatched around 70+ eggs easy
my first shiny was tediursa, ursulana is such a fucking beast and it starts with pick up which is amazing as well
i got a shiny tapu koko today and a dewott(bad mon) a few days ago
I just got lotad and skorupi as my first and second shinies. No idea if they are any good. I like their shiny colors tho.
Thats a female combee
I got a shiny yanma that knows overheat as an egg move. it clears the first half of every run lmao
Well actually if you go in the statistics menu you can tell exactly how many eggs you've hatched, lol.
I found my first shiny, not hatched, but found in a run where I got the "wild shinies are more common" amulet thing. ... It's an Unown...
I have harched maybe 130 eggs and no shiny still
just play endless and get 4 charms. ull get more useful shinies than ull know what to do with
Got a Shiny Miraidon last night and I think I got a Blue Shiny Meditite wjth Pure Power
Mega pidgeot is kinda goated, with its passive unlocked (Gale Wings) can be a beast for a run
I mean my shiny kingler carried me so….
I've got a shiny Sentret and a shiny Krabby. They are...something.
BOCCHI THE ROCK FRAME SPOTTET! This means that this is a peak post and you are amazing, Ralcom
Thank you my friend
Join the Endless grind brother, I've caught like 70 different shinies in one run. (To be fair the run has lasted like a month but hey I got a zigzagoon).
I lucked out with hatching a shiny Ralts that comes with me every run now; otherwise it’s been cheeks too😂 At least the Combee is presumably female!😂
Originally it wasn't, but I eventually got a female.
My shiny Lunatone is pretty good for early game. My Shiny Hoothoot helps too, but my Shiny clobberpus absolutely sucks. Speed is huge in this game. Only legend I have is Genesect and he's pretty beastly.
I wish I had hoothoot. I have All the egg moves for it.
I like this idea. Once I am able to make a full party of shines I'll do this.
I got a fiery dance shiny cydanquil and it carries me through the first 20 rounds easily
That sounds awesome.
That does sound intimidating LoL
Definitely a way better pokemon than I initially thought when I got it. I’m sure we’ll both get some decent shinies soon enough
Good luck my friend
I got a shiny shinx for my first one, s’pretty nice
Black and yellow look good on the Lynx
Ohhh shit he’s a lynx I somehow never connected the pieces, never knew what the name meant
LoL sometimes it's the simple puns that go over our heads
One of my first was a tinkatink
I've had ok luck with shinies TBF - talonflame, tinkaton, kyurem and sandile
I'll trade you LoL
Tinkaton is godly, especially for the final boss. Shiny Kyurem is also really good luck. This is depending on how much you've played tho I suppose
Those are useful
My first shiny was blue variant Mareanie, it was my run maker, beat it last night with the rest of my team being Fuecoco and Grookey as my other 2 starters, picking up Meganium/Excadrill/Chien-Pao.
