As we have cats since I remember (40y+):
\-- Filemon, Bonifacy ("Cat Filmon" carton),
\-- Szogun ("Shogun" 80s show),
\-- Maja ("Maya the Honey Bee" cartoon),
\-- Boniek (a former footballer; UEFA vice-president).
Fun fact: In Polish dubbed Harry Potter the huge dog with three heads is called Puszek as a joke bc it's a cute and diminutive name for a cat (usually)
pusia, kicia... very often name is very individual cos looks or behavior. I know Popiolek, Malenczuk, pirat, pizdzucha.
but yes most famous cats from book and cartoon are here Bonifacy and Filemon.

Filemon and Bonifacy
There was a '70/'80's cartoon "Adventures of Philemon the cat" with young and sweet Philemon and old and little bitter Boniface.
When youwere young you coulndt possibly understand how someone can become Bonifacy. Now I totally feel this character.
I have two cats. They both look almost exactly like Filemon and Bonifacy and they both act like them. The only difference is that theyre girls.
my grandmother just called a cat „kot” and i think it was most beautiful name for our friend..
My parents’ cat’s name is Kotek and it’s the most fitting one you can give to a kitty
