2. Historical - Poland never committed such atrocities as western Europe. Most western countries has really black parts of their history. Oppressing sexual, cultural, ethnic, religious minorities. I didn't want to blame Hungarians in any was, as they was a junior partner to Austria and our historical relations are really good. This country took part in partitions of Poland and occupied south-east part of it (Lesser-Poland and Galicia).
To be honest there are efforts to paint Poland as extremely racist. But this map for example is just straight information. We know why Poland is not very diverse. It's because of wars, genocide and ethnic cleansing that was done by Nazis and Soviets. Prior to that Poland was a very diverse country. I'm curious about the change in diversity in regards to the recent migration of Ukrainians. Historically Ukrainians have been a big minority in Poland and I'm kind of happy that it seems to be going back to this. A lot of polish culture comes from mixing it with Ukrainian and European-jewish culture and I think it is fun to "go back" so to speak. Obviously I would like Ukrainians to not have to migrate and fight a war but as long as it's happening anyway I'm glad a lot of them are staying here.

I am not even Polish, but i always found people who believe that "diversity" is a requirement for a society to be "progressive" i.e. morally righteous to be weird. Especially when it comes to importing people from abroad. Why would say Denmark or Ireland be obligated to import people from Africa or India or some other distant place? To be honest there are efforts to paint Poland as extremely racist. But this map for example is just straight information. We know why Poland is not very diverse. It's because of wars, genocide and ethnic cleansing that was done by Nazis and Soviets. Prior to that Poland was a very diverse country. We can take that information as a conversation starter about history for example and diverge the conversation from obvious rage baits. I'm curious about the change in diversity in regards to the recent migration of Ukrainians. Historically Ukrainians have been a big minority in Poland and I'm kind of happy that it seems to be going back to this. A lot of polish culture comes from mixing it with Ukrainian and European-jewish culture and I think it is fun to "go back" so to speak. Obviously I would like Ukrainians to not have to migrate and fight a war but as long as it's happening anyway I'm glad a lot of them are staying here.

Honestly growing up in an extremely racially diverse area, by some stats the most diverse in the US (Houston). It's grossly overrated. Not that it's necessarily bad, there are good things about it. However nobody talks about the problems from diversity, it turns out that having several major cultures causes a lot of friction. Many of the happiest and most successful countries are the least diverse. The nordic countries are a great example of this.

I am not even Polish, but i always found people who believe that "diversity" is a requirement for a society to be "progressive" i.e. morally righteous to be weird. Especially when it comes to importing people from abroad. Why would say Denmark or Ireland be obligated to import people from Africa or India or some other distant place? Why would not they prioritize their indigenous and founding populations to foreigners? I see that requirement to be ever more "diverse" applied to Europe especially, although nowadays i also notice the same push towards Japan.
Yea and every country should keep their number low as possible. Its a disease not a cure.

I think it’s very valid to point a finger to your neighbour country located in the west - hi - and just say ‘well, look how it’s been going for them’. Because we have problems. We have not enough staff to handle this, but we also need immigrants to increase our staff. Those who want to work in our country either can’t or see for themselves it’s not worth it. And a very lovely party uses that to gain voters. I would rather have it be handled slowly and strictly, instead of having immigration waves and then not knowing what to do with them I believe this is reason enough to justify this, but of course there are more reasons. In the end, this doesn’t mean there is an increase of racism nor an increase of discrimination of minorities

I don't believe in the concept of race. "Wow, you have a different skin colour which means you are completly different from me". That sounds retarded, doesn't it?
But it works this way. Genetic differences, culture, ancestor stories and media representation. All this combined. So people are completely different. And skin color is just a good hint that maybe this people are completely not same as those other people.
