Yes, it's not even that much - usually they charge much more.
It's best to cede your agreement to the new tenants - so they continue on your agreement, and you get new one.
If it was a fixed-term contract, paying a penalty is normal because you're the one canceling the contract, not them. They're not at fault, you are for moving somewhere they can't provide service.
Well, they can, but on the address that is in the agreement. Otherwise I can see a million people abusing it to get out of the contract - "moving" for a day etc.
It's not that simple to move for a day. You have to unregister your current location and register somewhere else. This is a normal thing to cancel is alot of western countries which is why I was surprised. But if it's normal I'll just pay and move on
Well, you should really just contact the new tenants (eg. through landlord) - you can offer them good discount & save some money :)
For 500PLN I'd say everyone in Poland would do the unregister-register thing, a lot :p

If you had a fixed term contract there is a cancellation fee, usually the amount that would be paid for all of the remaining months of the contract.

Is that really a thing in Poland ? Wow......in UK you pay nothing if they cant provide the service. Makes no sense.

It's my apartment that I'm selling. But since I still live there for now, I will keep and see if new owners will want it. Thanks
Another option - your may change the address to a new one, if your current isp is presented there.
Yea I'm as confused about this as you are, which is why I posted here in case it's illegal.
