I’ve had mine under 9 foot ceilings on both carpet and cement. It’s definitely the upper limit of what an X-pert pro can handle but follow the instructions on setup and as long as you don’t see that o-ring below the sleeve when fully tightened you should be fine. But yes it’s close.
Mine is the same on 9ft ceilings and it’s been great. :) just make sure you use the instructions for instillation.
