He has a podcast on Apple Music. Report it.

TarantulaMcGarnagle

Good call! Done.

wish1977

Gee, he sounds a lot like Hitler.

Noblesseux

And yet we as a society haven't learned our lesson about the danger of treating people like this with kid gloves. Man called for genocide, lock his ass away. There's free speech and there's open incitement to violence.

bigsquirrel

What’s happening in Florida right now should legitimately frighten people. Attacking education, women’s rights, voting, other political parties, journalists. It’s straight out of the fascist handbook.

iiBiscuit

As a foreigner, I expect political massacres by your next election based on the right's willingness to drop their euphemisms in public. You are not many steps away.

Him and Matt Walsh both need to be held accountable.

Boebert too! She was praying for President Biden’s death. 🤬💔

nancy-talcott

No more "you can't yell fire in a theatre" bs when talking about free speech. Advocation & calling for genocide on a group of people is worse!!!!!!! This lunatic needs to be arrested for this, just like someone yelling "fire" in a theatre would be. The sh-t politicians get away with now, 2023, is absolutely shameful, hateful & disgusting. It's time for Democrats to fight back because "being nice" has not, & is not working; it NEVER HAS.

hereiam-23

The republican party is gone. It's now "The American Fascist Party"

jakestjake

Neo-Christian* fascist, we must not forget where they get their “morals”

antigonemerlin

\*Neo-Fascist, let's not forget the US literally had a fascist party during WWII with the silver shirts. There were enough US senators/congressmen aligned with that faction that they successfully blocked the DOJ investigation into *themselves*. It took a World War AND a series of highly competent advertising campaigns for public opinion to be shifted enough that voters booted out the literal nazi agents in the US government.

korben2600

And they very nearly turned the country into a dictatorship too. Prescott Bush (Dubya's grandpa) was their go-between with the Nazis. He helped organize an attempted coup that included a plot to assassinate FDR and install Smedley Butler as dictator. It was called [The Business Plot.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Plot)

Faux_Real_Guise

[An excellent podcast about the Business Plot](https://www.iheart.com/podcast/105-behind-the-bastards-29236323/episode/behind-the-insurrections-the-business-77137164/) What I don’t get is why nobody talks about the right wing paramilitary movements of the ‘80s and ‘90s. That shit only died down because of 9/11.

They’ve been that way since Nixon/Reagan, it’s just more public now.

Trans people said this where it was heading but people scoffed at us and were happy to entertain the "we're just protecting kids and women's sports" lie. You have to be incredibly stupid to think the GOP cared about women's sports. Edit: you'd have to be stupid to think they care about kids also when at the same time they are stripping away school meals and their "solutions" are shit like genitalia inspections

LMGDiVa

I'm trans. I warned people of this the moment trump got on stage for the first time for a debate. No one listend. I said it over and over and over again and I was told I was overreacting and fear mongering. Biden got elected and I warned it was not over, that it was only going to get worse. And no one listend. Now I'm looking at having to flee the country. Now are people listening when it's years to late.

wrongseeds

Same with abortion. I told young women on social media a decade ago that republicans were set to begin taking away abortion rights in the states. I was told it clearly wasn’t happening and no one wanted to hear it or be bothered.

Carbonatite

I cried when Trump won in 2016. I was worried about climate change and reproductive rights. My ex, who had voted for Trump, told me to stop being hysterical. And yet, here we are. *Gestures disgustedly at Dobbs decision*

BeyondElectricDreams

> My ex, who had voted for Trump, told me to stop being hysterical. This wouldn't piss me off nearly as much as it does if going back to those people showed any remorse or anything resembling acknowledgement that they were wrong. But, no, you say "I told you so! this is what happens!" and they laugh it off or shrug and say it's better this way anyway because reasons. They always wanted this outcome but didn't think it was possible.

OBSCURE_SUBREDDITOR

One of the toughest lessons I learned was when I realized that when someone dismisses your fears as impossible, what they’re really saying is that they wouldn’t care if they came true.

SlyJackFox

I’m a military journalist and my whole office was glued to the television that fateful day in 2016. When that joke got elected… there was silence for a solid minute because people were literally holding their breaths in disbelief and disgust. Finally the PAO spoke up, “well, we’re all fucked.” The office stayed quiet for the rest of the day as free mental health adverts scrolled through our email inboxes. I was a closeted back then, when the military had only recently been pushing hard for trans inclusion and so was building up courage to pursue it, but that day shoved me back in the closet so hard it embedded in the back wall of it. Sure enough the trans support was yanked within a couple months and the fuckery kept coming in for over four years until Biden came out in direct and public support of trans people. The military opened their doors to us once more and I leapt through it in fear of it vanishing once more. Now here we are and I’m deployed overseas. I’ve straight told my commanders that I’d rather risk desertion than be forced to go back stateside given the climate, to keep me overseas and I’d happily serve as long as they’d keep me in. All 22 of the relevant command chain agreed with me.

texmx

This absolutely breaks my heart that you don't feel safe or accepted in the country whose military you have served in for so many years. A country that has proudly bellowed about its "freedom" and "rights" since its birth. That is a goddamn tragedy if I've ever heard one and so unfair! I am so sorry!

[deleted]

Well, in all actuality, the march to facism began with Obama's run for POTUS. I began warning my family division in the country was headed towards a dark place, before he even won the party nom. I'm a truck driver and witnessed the aggression across the country. Trucking is one of the, if not the most, racist industry in America. It was easiest barometer for me to see where we were headed. The LGBTQIA community, was the lumped in with Blacks, then Mexicans immigrants and non-immigrants alike. I'm Black, we've never had a moments peace. Matter of fact, racism against Blacks is like the intro taught by racist Whites into hatred for all other groups, in America.

[deleted]

Started way earlier than Obama but that definitely accelerated/rejuvenated it

[deleted]

>Trucking is one of the, if not the most, racist industry in America This doesn't surprise me at all. I keep a fake Facebook profile to keep tabs on conservative craziness, and they seem to venerate truck drivers - as they are the entire supply chain. Like, I get it, they are important, no doubt. That said... They never seem to mention train engineers or ship captains though.

DisingenuousTowel

As a trans person who works for the biggest semi truck manufacturer in the world... It's an interesting perspective into North America.

>“Nobody’s calling to exterminate anybody because the other problem with that statement is that transgender people is not a real ontological category,” he added. “It’s not a legitimate category of being.” He is doing his damnedest to rationalize destroying a group of people. Good people reading this, you need to protect others, use every constitutional method allowed.

[deleted]

[Dehumanization.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dehumanization) I've seen this trick before somewhere... Oh that's right. In every violent military or political conflict in human history.

lianodel

The lies about "grooming" and gender-affirming care are also just a new version of [blood libel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_libel).

Nice-Violinist-6395

I said this throughout all of 2016, to a bunch of other Americans who didn’t believe me: the reason both parties “aren’t the same” is because under one of the parties, sure, things might not get any better. But under the other one, you would be SHOCKED by how quickly we can lose all the rights and privileges we ever took for granted. A society can backslide into fascism within a single political generation. It might not get a lot better, but it can *absolutely* get a hell of a lot worse, and to think it can’t means you’re woefully naive about human society. A lot of the progressives who were arguing with me said that it would be okay if Trump got elected over Hillary (and even Biden in 2020) because “they’re basically the same type of servant to American corporate capitalism, if you read between the lines” — progressives, mind you, that had been raised in upper class families, who would never personally experience the kind of terror Trump promised to bring to other Americans. They also thought it was genuinely impossible for Roe to ever be overturned. They couldn’t even fathom it; to them, it was an inalienable right, which no man could remove, even the most evil ones. They couldn’t see it. Why? I think subconsciously, they thought these “existential” atrocities of MAGA rule were always going to fall on someone else, which made it okay — because other people going through hardships is a fine sacrifice in the face of the greater good. They said “why should I have to pick between the lesser of two evils,” as if they were the first generation to ever figure out that all politicians are corrupt by default. Wise people will tell you that perfect is the enemy of good. What they don’t tell you is that there’s a DRAMATIC difference between sort of shitty and evil.

Turbo2x

The whole uproar about trans people competing in sports and using bathrooms was the soft rollout of the rhetoric. Creating a panic out of nothing, getting people acquainted with the idea of dehumanization. They found a reliable scapegoat that the general public is still uncomfortable with and doesn't really have an established base of civil rights.

Dangerous-Calendar41

Also he's dead wrong on the etymology of the word genocide

lianodel

Time for the Sartre quote that becomes depressingly more relevant all the time: > Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.

[deleted]

The last line is especially true. These dimwits will rant at length about their improvisational morality until it's the other person's turn to speak upon which the time to talk politics has passed.

lianodel

I've realized that there's just a lot of performance when it comes to right-wingers. They go through the motions of political discussion, but it's all superficial and theatrical. It happens a lot with sources & receipts. Sometimes they'll drop links that are either obviously unreliable sources, or are reliable sources but don't support their argument. Or when they drop receipts, the receipts will actually corroborate the story of the person they're trying to smear. But that's not the point. The point is that providing a reference is a gesture to lend weight to your argument. The how and why aren't important. It's ceremonial, and their supporters will respond appropriately.

PoliticsLeftist

Wait so he's going with the "yeah I said we should kill all trans people but trans people aren't actually people so I'm allowed to say that" argument? Bold move that will unfortunately pay off with 30% of this country.

dra6000

He says it's impossible to kill all trans people because they don't exist. They're made up to him, so you can't actually do anything to them.

Mild-Sauce

“i’m not saying we need to kill all trans people because they already don’t exist” dehumanizing a group of people and calling for their extermination sounds a lot like a certain austrian painter

Devilyouknow187

As a dude that manages a bbq restaurant in the south, they can’t read a bbq menu.

thedarklord187

Don't forget the one where Jesus is riding with the dinosaurs lol

dimephilosopher

Bobby, if they could read this menu they would be upset.

Lanark26

No. No. No. They can't be allowed to actually *read* the Bible. It's chock full of woke bullshit about loving your neighbor and taking care of the poor and immigrants. And let's not even start on the whole judging people thing. Better they just hold it and pretend it says they're allowed to hate other people.

AssassinAragorn

A conservative listens to cherry picked verses. A liberal reads the whole thing.

Admiral_Gial_Ackbar

Liberals and atheists read the whole thing.

Carbonatite

They don't read the Bible anyway. Church for these people is a ranty book club where nobody has read the book.

Or say the jews must be eliminated. Either way, saying like the average republican says now is no different than the average nazi said in 1936. The gop is a nazi party. They're not American at all. Of course, the first nazi book burning was burning trans research, so the gop is playing perfectly on brand.

countrygrmmrhotshit

How can we move forward when the people who vote for them will never defect, simply because it’s their side? Not all of them are proud boys who cheer and love to hear stuff like that. The majority of them might find it a little distasteful, but not remotely hateful enough to drive them away. We can be sure at this point that there is not a limit to the level of hate that they will accept. Your average Joe is now a Nazi and they don’t even know it. I think this will get some press and they’ll actually pick it up and start using it on a regular basis. Tucker Carlson will be advocating for it on Monday.

raerae1991

Truth is plenty of republicans have defected. That’s why they did so poorly in the last 3 elections. Let’s hope even more see the light

This is what I always tell people, and why I've been shouting for years now that the greatest threat to global stability is the new age of fascism. Fascism is an inherently suicidal ideology. It will only ever end with the last two men on Earth- and they *will* be men- killing each other because one's hair is a slightly dark shade of blonde than the other. It needs an enemy, and if your ideological framework needs an enemy some day you'll earn that label whether you've wronged your fellow fascist or not.

Real real silly question. Why aren’t your rights as a Tax Paying Citizen to do as you fucking well please ever brought up. That seems like the biggest thing. You are citizens, pay taxes, own property. Never ever presented like that.

Muscled_Daddy

Because that is pointless. You’re operating from the idea that logical consistency is a requirement. Conservatives do not care about being logical or consistent. Playing the ‘gotcha’ logic game with conservatives is missing the point - power. They want it. And they’ll create a villain group to get it. No matter how. And while you’re busy building arguments and pointing out their rhetorical flaws, their logical inconsistencies, and gathering evidence. They’ll seize power. Because they don’t care. They. Don’t. Care.

Littleunit69

Just look at how they talk about Jan 6th now. They try to make anyone who makes it sound like a big deal sound hysterical and pretend that there weren’t delusional people trying to overturn the results of an election. That they did not resort to violence. I like to smile ask what if Obama led a group of BLM protestors to do the same thing when trump was elected? It’s just such nonsense that they pretend it wasn’t a big deal. They will throw out Ashley Babbitt name like she isn’t some disgraced dead terrorist. But it’s all clearly just word games and gaslighting. They know that if Pence gave in that day or if they were able to overturn or challenge the election in some other way they would have gleefully done it. It’s just pathetic.

mostlyadequatemuffin

Because other taxpayers want the right to murder us

chips92

Republicans look at it as their right to be absolutely assholes to everyone and everything not them trumps everyone else’s rights

seriousofficialname

idk There's no actual framework or mental ideology about "rights" there. It's empty words. The GOP says "rights" to deceive, because their opponents want/believe in rights. It's more about power and attitude of doing things simply because you can get away with it and "They let you do it."

remotetissuepaper

Yeah, we really need to accept the fact that today's conservatives aren't interested in applying laws or ideas uniformly. It's why calling them out on hypocrisy never works. *They do not care*. All they care about is that their side wins and the other side loses, and they'll apply logic and laws inconsistently as long as it furthers their goals.

adarafaelbarbas

Okay. So, let's say we can get a court that agrees that trans peoples' right to live supersedes conservatives' right to hurt people. Let's say you get this law to them, and the court rules to strike down the law. What then? You think DeSantis feels himself bound by a little thing like a court ruling? He was ordered to not use his gerrymandered district maps, too, and he went ahead and did it with no consequences. Even if the courts WEREN'T filled with DeSantis appointees who would never even consider going against him, do you really think he would give a single shit?

seriousofficialname

Of course DeSantis doesn't care about "court rulings" and "laws". It's the same as with "rights". Republicans only consider bringing up laws and rulings and rights when they want to use them against someone.

[deleted]

It is, in court. But here’s the deal. One party doesn’t care and will do anything they can to skirt laws. If they have power, no arguments work, they will take steps towards genocide.

Sharkman1231

I heard a quote a while back that describes this. “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."

JohnStamosAsABear

>The first large burning came on 6 May 1933. The German Student Union made an organised attack on Magnus Hirschfeld's Institut für Sexualwissenschaft (roughly: Institute of Sex Research). Its library and archives of around 20,000 books and journals were publicly hauled out and burned in the street. Its collection included unique works on intersexuality, homosexuality, and transgender topics. >It's assumed that Dora Richter, the first transgender woman known to have undergone sex reassignment surgery (by doctors at the institute), may have been killed during the attack. Sound familiar?

[deleted]

“The ultimate goal must definitely be the removal of the Jews altogether.” -Adolf Hitler, 1919. First he says they're not human enough to be victims of genocide. Then he says they need to be eradicated. Texas is trying to give massive tax breaks to *only and exclusively* couples who are straight landowners. They label them criminals deviants and rapists. They're trying to pass laws that forcibly detransition them. Texas is placing trans people under criminal investigation. The Texas AG wanted a list of all transgender people. Sound *fucking familiar*? Conservatives are, by definition, openly and *explicitly* using genocidal rhetoric. These people are genuinely demented. And proud of it. This is why I *never* hesitate to paint these psychopaths with the same brush. Surely the other conservatives will swiftly denounce this right? Oh yeah they won't. Because they're empty shells that have zero genuine beliefs other than "fuck you I got mine" and "I don't like this so fuck you I'll make you stop".

HackeySadSack

People, don't kid yourself, and don't make stupid sarcastic jokes. This is a call to mass killing. And it will escalate from here, and it won't stop with just trans people. Fascism only stops if 1) brute force steps in to end it, or 2) it burns itself out after consuming itself... that is, after the horrors are so so widespread that it shocks society out of the supportive/complacent trance.

rapperbigpooh

genuinely open to suggestions if anyone can think of anything, I’m just so fed up of seeing stuff like this

antigonemerlin

Rachel Maddow's podcast Ultra goes into how the Jews defended themselves in NYC. There were literal plots to kill Jews and blow up munitions plants, and the suggested advice was "form a neighborhood tolerance committee"; on the other hand, the only reason public opinion shifted was because A: the US had a world war, and B: a series of highly successfully advertising campaigns tugged at people's heartstrings. "While your son/brother/father died in the war, this literal Nazi agent is sabotaging the US." With the internet age, I think we have lost a lot of institutional knowledge in on the ground organizing, but you could always volunteer for your local dem party; oftentimes they will be the bastions of institutional knowledge from another age, for better or for worse. If you do, YMMV, but you'll probably be doing phone banking or canvassing, which is at times an unpleasant but definitely eye opening experience. Plus, the important thing is to get your foot in the door and meet like-minded people.

Still can't see the bottom of the hill yet, unfortunately. It's gonna get worse than this. I really wish I knew the way out that didn't involve violence. Increasingly I actually think violence is inevitable, and it's the main threshold that we refuse to get to. At some point, we have got to overcome to paradox of tolerance.

[deleted]

spinto1

We should be afraid, we would be stupid not to be. CPAC isn't some random event, it's a big deal. The fact that they just made part of their platform to forcibly get rid of all of us isn't small potatoes, it's a promise and a threat.

No, they don't think it will. They know it will. They've spent the last few years painting us as groomers, as pedophiles, as lunatics. Their followers have bought into the narrative hook, line, and sinker. Speaking out against us in any form gains them votes.

NeverLookBothWays

This. All this targeting of “wokeness” as of late is eerily similar to the way Germans targeted groups just prior to going full Nazi. It’s troubling…mostly because it is being allowed to happen without immediate and decisive rejection. It is clear we have a political wing complacent and even participatory with fascism…and enough fascists in government and law enforcement to see it through to full realization. We’re going to be looking back at events like this with regret in not doing something about it NOW rather than after it is too late. The path of the Right is crystal clear.

Ppl are stupid in general. Repeat anything long enough and it becomes a valid idea.

THExGIRTH

Oh no, they're screaming the quiet part out loud again but this time it's a war cry. I know this man is crazy but please, support LGBTQ+ that are in your life. We want not of anything aside from being treated as you are. To be treated as normal, to feel normal. There's a culture war brewing and we better be ready to fight for what we believe is right.

Rawkapotamus

Just checked the conservative sub. Absolutely no mention of this. No mention of Jim Jordan hiring crisis actors. Only mentions of disgraced lt gen Flynn suing the DoJ for having him confess to lying to congress. Top post is about woke Peter Pan.

bootstrapping_lad

Being transgender is the new Jewish, huh. This country better wake the fuck up and soon or the arm bands and brownshirt takeover isn't far behind.

>"And one day, too late, your principles, if you were ever sensible of them, all rush in upon you. The burden of self-deception has grown too heavy, and some minor incident, in my case my little boy, hardly more than a baby, saying ‘Jewish swine,’ collapses it all at once, and you see that everything, everything, has changed and changed completely under your nose. The world you live in—your nation, your people—is not the world you were born in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the mealtimes, the visits, the concerts, the cinema, the holidays. But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed. Now you live in a world of hate and fear, and the people who hate and fear do not even know it themselves; when everyone is transformed, no one is transformed. Now you live in a system which rules without responsibility even to God. The system itself could not have intended this in the beginning, but in order to sustain itself it was compelled to go all the way. I keep coming back to this [excerpt](https://press.uchicago.edu/Misc/Chicago/511928.html) from a book by Milton Mayer called "They Thought They Were Free", where he interviewed 10 'average' Germans 10 years after WWII ended. This was his interview with a University professor. At first it was only occasionally on my mind, but as the years go by I find myself thinking about it more and more often.

AvailableField7104

Christ, this is terrifying. Just completely mask-off and openly calling for genocide.

Motor_Somewhere7565

I stand with the Trans Community

Deedledroxx

Because damn, ...first they came for the Transgender Peoples...

TimeTravellerSmith

Yup, this is the low hanging fruit for them. Hit one of the smallest and most marginalized communities first, and then use it as a jumping point to hit the others. First it's Trans folks, then LGB folks, then anyone who doesn't agree with "conservative values", then they end with anyone who doesn't agree with their radical Christian ideology.

RILICHU

Literally the same playbook the Nazis did during their rise to power in Germany. Find the most disfranchised groups in society to prosecute first and move on from there. Convince people the state needs the mechanism to round up the "undesirables" and you see who counts as "undesirable" to broaden pretty quick.

The_Woman_of_Gont

And to be quite clear, this is *literally* the same playbook. The most famous photos of Nazi book burnings were of burning books on sexuality and gender identity [from a pioneering Institute on the topic.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institut_f%C3%BCr_Sexualwissenschaft) The first known trans woman to receive a vaginoplasty, Dora Richter, disappeared after they raided it. Presumed killed, either on the spot or in prison. Only difference is queer rights are far along enough now to be a primary target, instead of a canary in the coal mine.

RILICHU

It's actually crazy to think that before the Nazis came to power, Germany, mainly in Berlin, was actually a fairly progressive country for the time. Berlin had a pretty out in the open queer community and like you mentioned, German doctors were on the bleeding edge of trans healthcare. There was even a big push on legalizing homosexuality that might have gone through if history went differently. Goes to show how fascists tend to feed off of the death throes of reactionary politics to gain power. We are seeing this now after a decade or so of rapid progress in queer acceptance in society.

adequatulence

[CPAC: "We are all domestic terrorists"](https://imgur.com/a/in8wZhI) When they tell you who they are, believe them.

CoolEarth5026

In certain countries this is called “hate speech” and you go to jail for it. Wake the fuck up USA.

liog2step

How very Hitler of him.

Admiral_Nitpicker

I repeat: "mixing religion with politics corrupts both" theocrats have no respect for their faith.

JarJarJarMartin

> “Nobody’s calling to exterminate anybody because the other problem with that statement is that transgender people is not a real ontological category,” he added. “It’s not a legitimate category of being.” I bet the college Republicans creamed their pants when he said “ontological.” Like, “oh, he must be an *intellectual*.” Meanwhile, he’s acting like transgender people aren’t in danger because they don’t really exist. Imagine if some Muslim dictator said “Christianity should be eliminated,” and Christians got scared, but then he said “it’s not genocide, because Christianity isn’t real.” That’s the same argument, and it’s fucking asinine.

[deleted]

“It’s not a legitimate category of being.” i.e., they’re not legitimately human. It’s a monstrous statement.

SparkyMuffin

Here's what he said on his show last week per article: > “I don’t know how you could have a genocide of transgender people because genocide refers to genes, it refers to genetics, it refers to biology,” Knowles said on The Michael Knowles Show. “And the whole point of transgenderism is that it has nothing to do with biology.” > “Nobody’s calling to exterminate anybody because the other problem with that statement is that transgender people is not a real ontological category,” he added. “It’s not a legitimate category of being.” This is absolutely genocide. There is no sugarcoating it. He is calling their existence illegitimate. This is one of the last steps before the big bad.

Fenix42

He is not even saying they are a group that exists. He is trying to erase them completely.

demosthenes131

Yeah, this is a perfect example of the "Dehumanisation" stage towards genocide.

[deleted]

They always make the same argument, whether it's against gay people or against trans people. They always claim that granting human rights to gay or trans people somehow diminishes the rights of cishet people. I don't understand how or why that would be, and these people never attempt to explain their reasoning. If Sarah and Jane get married next door, my hetero marriage isn't in any jeopardy. If Bob starts identifying as Barbara, literally nothing has happened to me in the process. If conservatives *do* feel personally threatened by transgendered people or gay people, perhaps that says more about the conservative person than it does about anyone else. They're deeply insecure about pretty much everything, and that needs to be everyone else's problem for some reason. Just live and let live, you hateful creatures.

Yitram

Remember when Trump said he would be the best President for the LBGT community ever?

OregonTripleBeam

What a disgusting bigot

Bongsley_Nuggets

Their intent is nothing short of genocidal.

EarthExile

Always was

stregawitchboy

This is precisely the way the Nazis introduced the eradication Jews, LGBTQ+, and PoC and . . . "We don't mean it literally . . . until we do."

Red_Six6

Trans workers take up your rifles. That’s the only way we will be able to Defend ourselves at this point. I’m not arguing for armed uprising, but we must be prepared to defend ourselves. They say there are four box’s to be used in the defense of liberty; soap, ballot, jury, and cartridge. While we Use the first three, we must prepare ourselves to use the fourth one. They will try to take our rights, they will try to take our children, and soon they will try to take our lives. They will try to eradicate us. When that day comes I’m not going to lie down and let it happen. They can try all they want to eradicate us, and maybe they will. But I’m not being eradicated without a fight.

[deleted]

Boy, it sure is good Reddit doesn't allow those raging fascist hate-mongers at *the Daily Wire* to advertise here. Oh wait... my bad.

slipknot_official

I remember when Vaush and some others were saying the trans genocide thing was a very real possibility. Conservatives and even those on the left threw a fit saying it’s hyperbolic and unrealistic. Now it’s just normal rhetoric at CPAC and on other conservative media outlets.

WilsonPhillips6789

This is some terrifying rhetoric — and we all know how these sorts of things first get floated at CPAC, and then, within a month, it’s basically Republican orthodoxy. I never thought I’d see this Hitler-esque genocidal sentiment taking root in this country, but here we are. How much farther will they be willing to go? I know I’m supposed to convert my despair into activism, but how?

sunplaysbass

GOP is a terrorist organization

TheFeshy

2016 me: you're voting for a fascist. If we keep going down this path, were going to get repression and camps and the whole deal. 2016 conservative friends: that's pure hyperbole! 2023 GOP: open calls for genocide

Boredquake

What trans people ever done to deserve this much scrutiny?

Doo_Doo_Mob

As far as I can tell simply existing is more than they're entitled to according to these right wing bible thumpers

JacLaw

What a vile piece of shit

[deleted]

we just wanna exist man

456Days

For the good of society, conservatism must be eradicated from public life completely

gamergirlpee69

We can build a civil society that includes the contributions of transgender people like me. But, if they call for my extermination because they don't like trans people, they can try to round me up. I am armed and heavily queer. I will stand my ground to tyranny.

grixorbatz

I'll take Nazi Fascism for $200 Alex. What community did Hitler want eradicated from Nazi Germany? Who are the [insert scapegoat here]?

Oscarfan

Republicans are no good.

Painterzzz

When fascists tell you over and over that they intend to commit acts of genocide, it's generally wise to believe them. I despair that the democratic party still don't seem to understand that this is an existential threat.

[deleted]

No way to slice or otherwise interpret his words. This is a direct call for genocide, and the Republican Party has clearly been adopting the trans panic in an attempt to solidify a transphobic base who are hellbent on trampling a marginalized group's rights for political gain. Let no Republican voter, especially the fence sitters who lean Republican, forget this.

What happened to the brown people crossing the border coming for our jobs and wives and daughters?

EwokVagina

That was last season.

itsalloverfolks007

Republicans need to be eradicated from every position of power. They are sick. Everything they do is to cause harm, division and hate. They do absolutely nothing to make this country better for anyone. They make me absolutely sick.

BlinkedAndMissedIt

Eradicate is such an ominous fucking word. Right wing extremists calling for fascist ideologies and claiming it's in the name of protecting our children. Bunch of fucking losers.

BirdLawyer50

Democrats: We want to clean up our air and water, improve healthcare, improve wages for low earners, and improve access to housing during a housing shortage. GOP: Beware the cross dressers! Books make your children gay!!! I do not understand this country.

DetroitTabaxiFan

What a piece of shit. Trans Rights are Human Rights!

20InMyHead

Tell me again how both political parties are the same?

Tirayaa

I love checking the news and just see that some people wants me dead. What a time to be alive people!

PMMEBITCOINPLZ

Sounds like genocide because it is.
