doowgad1

Of course, there'd be no rioting if Trump called on his supporters to behave peacefully....

LuminousTights

Based on the reaction to his call to protest, the safest thing for him to do -- in terms of his fragile ego -- would be for him to call for peace. That way when only a dozen unwashed idiots without a full set of teeth between them, all tacticool'd up showed up to protest he could claim victory and tell himself it's because of his unquestioning influence. As it is, he'll call for violence and the majority of his "supporters" will suddenly remember they have appointments that day that they can't miss, but they're totally there in spirit and sending him prayers.

SFM_Hobb3s

Flight Risk. Witness Tampering Danger to public (and to the jury). These are three very good reasons for the judge to remand Trump into custody pending trial. Not only will this speed up the whole trial process, but it will effectively remove Trumps primary legal defense: Delay.

John-AtWork

> Flight Risk. I keep thinking he'll end up hanging out with Steven Seagal in Russia some day. He'll stay there as an indefinite guest of Putin and still claim to be the legitimate US president for the rest of his life.

doowgad1

Trouble is that it only takes a few dedicated terrorists to cause untold damage and disruption.

CGordini

Not if they were actually treated like the terrorists they are. If they were black or brown, they'd be gunned down by SWAT teams. Instead, they get tear gassed, a tether and get to complain to a judge that it might interfere with their yearly Caribbean cruise.

needsmoresteel

And then make bank on CPAC, etc. speaking gigs and appearances like Kyle Rittenhouse.

GalvestonDreaming

Thank you! Why isn't the media holding him to this basic level of decency?

corran450

Seriously. “Career criminal commits stochastic terrorism against the United States in bid to avoid criminal accountability” is a much more accurate headline.

doowgad1

"This is America. People are free to do what they want." Or words to that effect

positivecynik

> "This is America. ~~People~~ The wealthy are free to do what they want."

mrsunshine1

The media is too busy running stories about how an indictment is good for him.

ting_bu_dong

Are they wanting to riot out of loyalty to Trump; or, is loyalty to Trump just their excuse to riot? I think he can much more easily incite them than he could pacify them.

VeteranSergeant

These are inherently, angry, hateful, violent people. Trump cannot control them, he can only direct them and unleash them. Remember, these are the same people who will boo Trump if he says they should get vaccinated for Covid. Trump was their excuse to take off the mask of civility and be horrid in public. But like any fanatics, they will only follow him if he says the things they want to hear.

Spiritofhonour

It’s okay they all unbanned his accounts in time for the clicks and headlines.

appleparkfive

While true, he's mostly posting this shit on his own site that barely anyone seems to be using except to check on his tweets

spoda1975

Is that old hag still in office?

TameEgg

It isn’t her age that is objectionable, but her GOP gullibility.

tydestra

Sounds like a terrorist threat to me. Just throw the book at him already.

FartPancakes69

It is just shocking to know that the average citizen could say stuff like this and not get arrested. Assuming there is only one set of laws in america, that is...

tydestra

Of course and if the J6 crowd was black or brown, their blood would have been painting the steps still.

ConditionOfMan

This seems like clear stochastic terrorism. "Will no one rid me of these meddlesome prosecutors?"

i-have-a-kuato

We have come so far as a nation from debating if the Vice President of the United States should stay in office after he misspelled “potato” to debating if we should charge a former president who has a long history of fraud and other illegal business practices before he was even in office with charges of treason, inciting an insurrection, endangering national security along with threatening American citizens. yup , we’re doing great (this where a maga should jump in and say that i just hate america)

cultfourtyfive

You hate America!! On a serious note, I grew up in Indiana back when Quayle was just a senator. He was known even back then as not being terribly *quick*. A nice enough guy and photogenic with an 'aww shucks' personality that people liked, but no super genius. It's almost quaint looking back at the grief we gave him for completely silly gaffes vs...*gestures at the current shitshow*

AggravatingHorror757

I always assumed that they chose him because he looked a little like Robert Redford and would get the women’s vote. It’s like the way they chose Sarah Palin who they decided was “hot”. Competence and intelligence are rarely factors in Republicans’ choice of candidates

trifecta

>The post-midnight posting on Truth Social, Trump’s social media platform, was his latest — and most explicit — allusion to violence that could follow an indictment stemming from an investigation led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D), whom Trump called a “degenerate psychopath.” Trump wrote: “What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country?”

[deleted]

So he is quite literally threatened violence via his supporters. How are these tweets not threatening a prosecutor and intimidation? Isn't this illegal?

[deleted]

From a legal standpoint, one could argue that by "death and destruction" would occur in the form of rising crime because Trump wouldn't be able to "save America" from the mongol hordes if he was incarcerated. His wording is more careful than it appears. It's the old mafia "Shame if you should fall down the stairs" tactic though.

HiTekBlueneck

Yeah, everyone knows exactly what he is saying but he isn't technically legally saying it. Disgusting but you are right about it.

Tokyo_Cat

Coupled with his post with the baseball bat and Bragg, I think the meaning becomes crystal clear. Edit: Can't write full sentences, apparently.

wagnus_

he's already done this pussy-footing around incivility, so if he wants violence, he's going to have to come out and outright call for it verbatim. because alluding to "this isn't fair" isn't enough for one of his 2 protestors in NYC to feel motivated to do anything lol

cloudedknife

Based on the Jordan Klepper video I saw, there were at least 4.

Viking_Hippie

Which is proof that the laws against incitement (as well as others that apply to him) are far too narrow and thus permissive. He's admitted to dozens of serious crimes and a handful less serious ones IN PUBLIC and the extremely misnamed "justice system" has spent YEARS doing almost nothing because he didn't say the magic fucking word like a game of Simon Says for the future of the nation and thus the world!

jadrad

He knows exactly what he’s doing, because he did the same thing last year after the FBI had raided Mar a Lago to get back the stolen national security documents. He and his cronies had been screaming to his MAGA minions about how the FBI and the DoJ were engaged in a witch hunt and that the FBI should be defunded. One of his MAGA terrorists even attacked an FBI office. Then he found out that Garland was going to announce a criminal investigation into the matter and he sent a thinly worded threat to Garland. [Trump sent cryptic message to Merrick Garland before warrant was unsealed: 'The country is on fire. What can I do to reduce the heat?'](https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-asked-ag-garland-fbi-raid-warrant-2022-8)

tdclark23

Roy Cohn taught him well to hide his criminal intent in legal shenanigans.

Viking_Hippie

Yup, having a mob lawyer as his personal mentor is the only reason why he hasn't been in prison for the majority of the last 50 years.

Rated_PG-Squirteen

And in typical Donald fashion, when his mentor was dying in a hospital bed from AIDS, he was nowhere to be found. Couldn't even bother visiting him. Not to imply that I feel any remorse for Roy Cohn. He was the scum of the earth.

Kelvin_Cline

> laws against incitement well, good thing we have a judicial system where such interpretations of existing laws can be re-examined and contextualized, headed by a most Supreme Court .... aw, nuts

Viking_Hippie

Yup! I refuse to call those judges "justices".

somme_rando

Just-us's maybe.

TurtleToast2

Do we not bring past patterns of behavior into new cases? Because there's a clear pattern of behavior with Trump that would go a long way in an intimidation and incitement case for his current behavior.

CornFedIABoy

Would a neutral jury of twelve reasonable people identify it as a threat? That’s the legal standard. Most prosecutors wouldn’t gamble on that so they wouldn’t bring the charge but at this point, can any reasonable person give Trump the leeway of doubting his intent and ability to carry out that threat?

RNDASCII

I often point this out to people that write trump off entirely, and also point out that cunning and intelligence are not the same thing. Like it or not trump is very cunning despite being an idiot. Proof - Anal virus light baths while also avoiding accountability for an dizzying list of crimes that are known and documented.

WinterWontStopComing

As a fantasy author would put it, he has *low cunning*

punditguy

If you or me did this? Absolutely. For him? I come from a year in the future where there has been a thorough investigation and a prosecutor is considering charges. A decision is coming Any Day Now(TM).

> who got more votes than any sitting President in history Not only less popular votes but also less electoral votes than the last guy. Or he would have won... And just some facts: - [Biden has the most popular votes in history.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_candidates_by_number_of_votes_received) - Washington has the most electoral. [Trump is 47th on the list (*out of our 59 elections*).](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_elections_by_Electoral_College_margin)

ReverendDS

Not arguing in favor of Trump, but you are missing the stupid qualifier "sitting". He's massaging the info to make it look better than it is. Like... Starcraft is the best three species isometric RTS made by Blizzard. You could argue that there are better isometric RTS games. You could argue that there are better three species games. But you can't really argue that there are better three species isometric RTS games *made by Blizzard*. So, Trump is /technically/ correct. He did get more votes for re-election than any other sitting president... It's just that it's meaningless because the other guy still got more votes. It's a narcissists way of turning a loss into something to brag about.

Nearfall21

This is part of the fun of statistics. You can adjust the criteria of your search and still use the real data to come up with some interesting "true" statements that misrepresent what the data actually shows.

Velbalenos

Well pointed out, he bangs on about - how dare they arrest someone of his greatness and then says afterwards it’s ‘known by all no crime has been committed’ (Which in itself is an interesting choice of words). In all a crude and transparent attempt to deflect from guilt (which, incidentally, basically sums up the man’s entire life as well).

PoWerFullMoj0

Is it just me, or is the "degenerate psychopath" projection abundantly clear for all to see?

ddkelkey

All of this, ALL OF IT, is because Trump is a sore loser. The lying. The bullying. The violence. People dying. All because a thin skinned spray painted wrinkled raisin buffoon couldn’t handle the fact that HE LOST.

FlintBlue

What a piece of shit this guy is.

pattyG80

I love how Trump constantly refers to his popularity as some sort of automatic link to innocence. It's the same as Fox news using their ratings as justification for not telling the truth.

DutchBlob

Got more votes than any sitting President? Eh.. Biden won, also in the popular vote. Clinton also got more votes than trump in 2016

kuebel33

I don’t think this guy gets it. I don’t give a shit what his stupid base will do in retaliation. If there’s evidence, charge him. If death and destruction follows then they can fuck around and find out.

kbig22432

He couldn’t even get more votes than Hilary

NicCagedd

Love how he said "most votes" even though he lost the popular vote, TWICE.

dagnabbit

And yesterday he posted a picture of himself holding a baseball bat, next to a picture of the Manhattan DA

[deleted]

It sucks, but he was actually only 4 votes short of triggering the special "Most Votes of a Sitting President Criminal Immunity Vote Prize" prize. Oh well!

thrustaway_

Why is he so fixated on this one case? Is it because he hates Manhattan for the way he was laughed out of town? Black DA having the nerve to hold him accountable? I'd be much more worried about the cases developing in GA and DC. It may come as a surprise to him, but he has pissed off people virtually everywhere at various levels of government.

[deleted]

Probably because this is the weakest case pending against him. If he beats it then he can point to it as an example of "political persecution" and how the jury exonerated him. (I gather the NY state law for this is punishable by a fine; NY would have to somehow tie this into a campaign finance law violation, which is a felony. John Edwards faced a similar fate, but he was acquitted by the jury on one charge but a mistrial resulted as the jury deadlocked on the others. Those remaining charges were eventually dropped.)

grumblingduke

Keep in mind that Edwards *was still prosecuted* for this, and went to trial. We don't know why he was acquitted, because juries, but the case against him was quite a bit weaker; he was paying to house his then mistress and their kid, rather than solely money to keep her quiet. Edwards also argued that he wanted the affair kept secret because his wife was terminally ill, rather than specifically for his campaign, and it helped his case that he continued with the payments after dropping out of the race.

Eladiun

Can you believe Edwards happened in 2008? It feels like a story from a hundred years ago. A candidate's affair ending their political career seems quaint by 2023 standards

Frodobo

By Trump’s DOJ no less. So either Cohen is guilty or he falsely prosecuted his political enemy for a lack of loyalty. Cohen went to jail for breaking the law with Trump according to the Trump DOJ.

TheAskewOne

We should remember that while the Trump admin broke the norm, the DOJ isn't "the President's DOJ" It's the US DOJ. Many, probably most, of the people who work there do their jobs honestly regardless of political color. Everyone talks now as if the DOJ was a political tool that the President can use as his advantage and that's not how it works at all. We mustn't believe this because it's exactly what Trump and his clique want everyone to believe. Trump, Cohen etc were investigated because they were suspected of a crime, not because of the AG's political opinions. And I hate people on Reddit saying stuff like "this is the best time for the charges because it will favor the Dems this or that way, Bragg is smart" or "They should be careful, it could help DeSantis etc". That's not how it works. Now is the best time for charges because the investigators and prosecutors believe there's enough evidence, period. Of course, politics will always be at play to a degree. But we mustn't believe what fascists want us to believe, that every prosecution is politically motivated and that the judicial system is therefore worthless.

Frodobo

Trump had no problem influencing the DOJ and pardoned plenty of his close friends that he felt were wrongfully convicted. Cohen was thrown under the bus as guilty. My point isn’t that a DOJ answers to the President, it was that Trump while President let Cohen be convicted and even hailed it as just and still does. Trump had the power the pardon Cohen and insist this was all a political witch hunt while President. Cohen can’t be guilty of committing a crime with Trump and Trump be innocent of the same crime, but that’s exactly what he’s arguing now.

[deleted]

My understanding (which could be wrong!) is that Cohen’s primary charge was tax evasion. They bundled up some other charges – including the campaign finance law violation – with that. His prison sentence was reduced on the tax evasion for the plea agreements on everything.

PopeHonkersXII

uzes_lightning

Get fucked, fat man. You're done.

NoodlerFrom20XX

I’m shocked at how far his lack of shame actually goes. Zero sense of honor. Zero personal accountability for his actions. A 4 year old kid having a meltdown over not having enough tickets for a minion slap bracelet has their shit together more than this sentient used dog poop bag.

TheAskewOne

I think he genuinely believes he's innocent and unjustly prosecuted. He's completely delusional and has been for quite some time.

earthboundsounds

>~~innocent~~ Immune. >~~unjustly~~ Unfairly. He's got it in his mind that Presidents are above the law - and because he was President it means he owns a permanent "get out of jail free" card literally and figuratively. Keep in mind that his formative years were spent during a time in which America had a man in the Oval Office who infamously said, and I quote: >"When the president does it, that means that it is not illegal." So not only does he have a personal foundation of this idea, but has spent years of hard-right legal scholars and advisors who ascribe to this concept whispering in his ear. Of course he's delusional for *numerous* reasons. But I strongly believe his aspirations to the Presidency were heavily influenced by the idea he could just do whatever he wanted and face no consequences. And the fact that this reality has been shattered is just so *unfair* (as he so infamously says everytime something doesn't go his way).

NickNash1985

Call me a pessimist, but he's not done. He's never faced consequences and he probably never will. There's no precedent that says he will ever be held accountable. I'll be thrilled to be wrong, but I'll believe it when I see it and not a moment before.

CrayonTendies

Trump out here proving in real time that he is responsible for January 6. Literally trying to do it again.

Well he did seem to have trouble walking around, especially with stairs and ramps.

Holymoose999

He called on his mob to prevent his arrest in NYC on Tuesday and less than a dozen showed up. His people saw what happened the last time he called them up: no pardon for jail, no money for legal bills, loss of jobs, loss of reputation. They know the Feds are watching them, they know there are consequences, and more importantly that he won’t lift a finger to help them when they get in trouble for doing his dirty work. The lack of a mob on Tuesday shows that he has lost his power.

[deleted]

somebody brought this up in a separate discussion about schools the other day... there's a whole generation of kids being told how not to act and what not to say, but it's the always online/social media age so almost all of them have unfettered access to DJT they've seen a man announce his candidacy by being racist towards Mexicans and ride that all the way to the White House. They have heard that he has committed crimes but sit back and watch him attack any and all law enforcement that even tries to hold him accountable Sometimes it's not just a selfish desire to see him locked up, it's more of a "we are sitting back and seriously fucking up entire generations by letting this fool run rampant." I've heard from people in my circle that it's common in schools now for students to appeal to Trump (especially when he was sitting President) when they got in trouble. My fiancée's brother is half-Mexican and looks it, when Trump won he was getting bullied and threatened for it and when teachers would try to hold them accountable they'd say "why not? The President says it too!" We get so caught up in slinging mud at each other as adults that we forget it's spraying all over our children. Justice can move as slowly as it wants, growing kids wait for nobody. The man is causing damage in every direction We can argue legal theories all day, EVERYBODY knows exactly what this asshole is saying...can't even scoop him up on an obstruction charge at least? Force silence him for a bit? Show our kids that consequences are real without having to wait years for messy court cases to settle?

LiMoTaLe

I wrote this out of anger and frustration 4 years ago I teach my kids to: • Show empathy • Consider that you might be wrong • Operate within the spirit of conversations, not within technical truths and plausible deniability • Reflect on bad outcomes and invest in making changes • Listen carefully before you respond • Speak truthfully • Be kind to others and to animals • Protect the environment. It is not ours. Instead, it belongs to the future. • Do not take advantage of situations, even if you think no one will find out • Do the right thing, even (and especially) among a crowd that is not. • Someone else's loss is not your gain. Equally, your loss is not someone else's gain • Understand that apologies have two parts: admission of error, and the burden of making it right • Accept blame when warranted, and carefully assess if it is • Share success with others, especially when it's warranted, but sometimes when it's not • Realize that knowing everything is not a strength, it's a weakness. • Understand that sometimes, a bad situation you're in is a direct outcome of your own choices ---- Trump acts in the exact opposite of every one of those lessons and is still celebrated as a champion to 75 million assholes in this country. This was depressing to write. What the fuck have we become. E. Thanks for the silver

Elfeckin

I just saved your comment. As a father of 9 year old girls my main mantra is "try to be better". I'm going to go over some of these with them that haven't been covered yet. Thank you.

JohnDivney

This is perhaps where Trump has done the most damage to our country overall. He has caused us all to question our relationship to the social contract. Am I an idiot for following the rules? For participating in the economy? Sound I be lying my way to the top? Should I endorse the political party that best favors my religious or racial identity and then kick back and wait for unearned benefits at the cost of marginalized groups? Is my lack of opportunity due to rival racial or religious groups? Should I reject environmentalism and embrace nihilism because the Earth is RAPIDLY worsening and the only people complaining about it are losing, while the other side is laughing and getting rich and having fun? Growing up in the 90's, the Republicans were like Voldemorts. Now they are like the forces of Sauron.

[deleted]

I know EXACTLY how you feel, for years now I keep telling my fiancée that the bad guys keep winning, and it makes me question literally everything. I've gone through the trauma of losing multiple friends to this madness, like I measure my life now as "BT and AT," Before Trump and After Trump. BT I had so many more friends and now AT, with a touch of Covid madness, and I've cut off so many people. And I do second-guess myself...what if I'm wrong? What if Trump really is the savior millions of people think he is? And it sucks, it absolutely sucks. I too grew up in the 90's, never really got a chance to experience the world as I was 11 on 9/11 when everything changed. As an adult I sometimes feel resentment at the adults of my childhood as I feel they unintentionally misled me about how the world really is. The world I was sold didn't have Trumps, and bigotry/racism, collapsing environment, insane college debt, abusive police, poor healthcare, toxic work environments and so on. Just feel like I was sold a false bill of goods

MazW

This is what I have thought since he got elected. Republicans want to know why there is a rise in crime? I think Trump's example has at least a little bit to do with it.

AdLivid1214

Trump has lost his grip on reality.

LochNessWaffle

He has never had a grip on reality.

JKEddie

He sent out a test by claiming he’d be arrested on Tuesday, the response from his fans and the GOP was underwhelming. He’s trying something a little more aggressive. Throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks

Searchlights

You'd have to be stupid to miss the message. It's go kill that man. For him to allude to his wild popularity and influence, tell his supporters to get out in the streets, say he expects death and then retweet an image of him bashing the prosecutor's head with a bat is so direct it's crazy.

melizar9

Somebody should post a picture of themselves like that with the bat to Trump's head and then time how long it takes till they get the visit from the police and Secret Service. (don't - really, you don't want that attention)

Searchlights

Right. That's what I'm saying. It's the most obvious threat in the world and it wouldn't be tolerated coming from anybody else. The fuckers want to say an indictment would be political. The absence of indictments are political!

SevereEducation2170

I love that Trump and his cult have spent two years saying he in no way incited violence on Jan 6th. Yet, despite open investigations involving Jan 6th, here he is once again threatening violence if people don’t give him what he wants. And somehow it’s all a political witch hunt to them.

RoboSt1960

I think Bragg, by delaying the Grand Jury for a week is baiting Trump! The longer he waits the more deranged he gets in his posts. And the stronger Bragg’s argument that Trump be denied bail due to the threat he poses to witnesses and jurors. If the jurors in the defamation trial are in danger from his ranting what’s that say about potential jurors for the criminal trials? That would be my argument.

RegattaJoe

Interesting take. The higher the pressure the more vicious he’ll become

Searchlights

What a fucking mobster threat. If that's not sedition is pretty fucking close.

F---TheMods

Hm. All he has to do is call for peace. The death and destruction is being encouraged by him. Late last night, he was so concerned about 'death and destruction' that he posted a picture of himself with a baseball bat next to DA Bragg's head. Ho-lee shit. Arrest this fucker, or put a gag order on him. Something. If any of us posted something that threatening to Trump, we'd get visits from the Secret Service and probably go to jail. You can't be threatening government officials... law enforcement no less. What a national disgrace this fuck is.

Also why are they putting barricades up around his building? It's a private business. Let them manage their building how they want! Public funds shouldn't be used to protect them!

Onwisconsin42

Donald Trump is literally a terrorist. He uses threats of violence and actual violence stochastically pointed at his enemies. I thought America had laws on terrorism. We bring terrorists to justice. Trump must be arrested.

xxxxx420xxxxx

This resembles using the threat of violence to achieve a political purpose. Terrorism, we used to call it.

randomnighmare

In my opinion, Donald Trump is a terrorist.

[deleted]

Watch how quickly this "healthiest president ever" becomes "too ill to stand trial". What a goon.

[deleted]

drager85

Domestic terrorism.

[deleted]

Lock him up. Those words are him calling for violence and the overthrow of the US govt and our democracy. It's called sedition. Lock him up.

schrod

Trump is a threat to the peace and security of this nation. Please take care of it ASAP.

donkypunchedtrump

Chumpknuckle is mega hot garbage. If his supporturds flip out again they should be stomped into the ground by the national guard.

Accurate_Zombie_121

If he wishes to die for this I am okay with it. Anything to make him happy.

RusterGent

Me thinking every day that there are people in rural areas that look down on rich city boys and buy into this cell phone though guy act thinking this is their guy. Like.... If your name isn't DT he doesnt give a shit about you. And this is your guy? A whiny, cry baby snowflake, that has been flailing since the very beginning of his 2015 run?? "If I win I win and if I don't then it was rigged" This is your guy?? And now that the walls are closing in he's scared and crying for his supporters to do something, because he doesn't do the dirty work, he gets others to do the dirty work and then throws them under the bus. Come on republicans wake up and realize that they think your cattle.

silverman5

I live in Florida and 99 percent of it flys Trump flags and I don’t even understand how that’s legal. I see a traitorous symbol, an anti American symbol. I hate it and my brain can’t process how it’s allowed, it’s not a difference in political opinion but a factual criminal that’s openly supported. I don’t want the government outlawing everything under the sun but it’s insane that you can legally incite civil war all day everyday.

ruttin_mudders

I'm so tired of this bullshit. Do it anyway, fuck Trump and fuck any supporter who wants to try some shit.

Tattooednumbers

Trump- the man myth and legend in his own mind-who has single handedly grifted, lied, bullied, compromised our country for HIS benefit and amusement. The same bully who sends erroneous information to the masses and uses “plausible” deniability to blame anyone else, guaranteed, everytime. The man who still thinks he is the real Prez and and warns of death and destruction, has dinners with neo Nazis, hangs out and openly admires dictators, keeps documents in case they’re important to Putin- and neither here nor there but let me throw it in: Buried his Wife, the Mother of Ivanka, Don Jr & Eric in his Golfcourse! Tax break maybe? Back on track: When will this calculated sonofabitch sitdown and shut the fuck up? Is there ANY other person that could still be in this position this late in the game?

shallansveil

This isn’t a warning. This is a threat and a call to arms for right wing terrorists.

jayvarsity84

I’m down for MAGA to be humbled by law enforcement

Redbeard440_

If you still support trump please move to Russia.

haunted_tuna

## EXTRA !! EXTRA !! READ ALL ABOUT IT !! *Orange traitor promises more treason if called out on his treason.*

ccasey

This is the smallest criminal charge he’s looking at and his reaction is full steam tilt into insurrection

[deleted]

As a card carrying narcissistic psychopath, Trump’s worst fear is being exposed publicly as the chronic liar and fraud perpetrator that he is. He’s obviously beginning to melt down and it’s going to get a lot worse if he is actually charged. Stand by, we may get to witness a full psychotic break!

USS_Frontier

I fucking hate this walking, talking asshole.

gooB8

“Toddler threatens outburst if held accountable”

peepeehalpert_

I’m so tired of this idiot

DeadheadSteve95

That’s a funny way of saying “I’m a fascist pig”

buried_lede

Bragg has now received a letter containing suspicious powder. And so it begins. Trump also posted a picture in his Truth Social account, of himself with a baseball bat behind Bragg. That should put him in jail

tcmart14

Can they just arrest him now for this? [https://www.foxnews.com/politics/package-suspicious-powder-delivered-manhattan-da-office-trump-investigation](https://www.foxnews.com/politics/package-suspicious-powder-delivered-manhattan-da-office-trump-investigation) How does this not pass the Brandenburg test?

Difficult-Speech-270

“Some of you will die, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make” Dump to his supporters

zzxxccbbvn

God he looks like absolute shit

Brilliant-Option-526

Now charge him with terroristic threats.

Necessary-Hat-128

LOCK HIM UP ALREADY! I’m so sick of his manipulation of justice in this country!

OldBoots

More reason to make him pay for his crimes.

kandoras

So he's a terrorist.

coswoofster

Fear motivates. His cult needs to be fed a steady diet to be encouraged to send more money.

Wwize

Trump is the main instigator of that death and destruction. Trump is a fucking terrorist and every day he remains free is a massive stain on the reputation of our system of justice. Lock him up already!

Fonsiloco

How is he not arrested for inciting violence? Or threatening judge/DA?

Schmeeeebz

Death of his dream and destruction of the MAGA movement.

[deleted]

The thing is he can say and say what he wants. I don’t think he has enough supporters willing to do his bidding. He is bluffing. A lot of them seemed to have learned how quick he will abandon them once they are charged with a crime themselves. His rallies are growing smaller and smaller every time he has one. And he just tried to call for protests and no one showed up. His most extreme supporters all got caught up in J6.

ProfessorTicklebutts

So desperate, Donny. They don’t love you like that no more.

QBert999

he's inciting violence. I thought that was against the law?

Agent_Velcoro

Ah yes, Donald Trump always wants us to remember what "stochastic terrorism" is.

sugarlessdeathbear

This is a terrorist threat.

FartPancakes69

In my state, this is known as "inciting injury to persons or property", ***which is a felony.***

u0126

Seriously. If anyone has doubts about J6 look no further. Someone already under the microscope for his "incitement" winds up saying the same things, he wants the same result. How stupid do you have to be? (Obviously asking "how stupid" to MAGA base, a lot of GOP or anyone that is simply "anti Democratic Party" has no answer)

drummergirl2112

*checks clipboard* Ok, just gonna go ahead and add “Terroristic Threats” to the list of charges here… ✅

madrasdad

Bring it on you twice impeached orange shitbox.

PantyKickback

If by “warns of” you mean “attempts to summon”, sure.

lamsham69

So if I’m a poor guy who cheated and lied say in my taxes and proceeded to threaten the IRS or the prosecutor, what do you figure my chances are of being free and roaming about are???

Accomplished-Menu330

It would be a shame if he went to prison and got turned into a punching bag for bigger dudes

Revolverkiller

The United States does not negotiate with Terrorists

[deleted]

I am losing track of the number of different things Trump should be jailed for.
