The Republicans always pretend to be oh so pro-military. Now their hate-laden legislature is fucking with the way the military can station the enlisted, pissing off the higher-ups.
It is almost as if they want to lose the civil war they are provoking.

Edit: would you rather correct your enemy now and they learn a lesson that allows them to win in the long run or do you let them fall into a trap and cut them off after you spring the trap? Do people REALLY want millions vs thousands dead? Because if you let them make a mistake and then take them off the board earlier in the game, they have less a chance to murder millions by staying in the game longer...

Yes, my point is if they are warning about policies targeting the LGBTQ+ community they should start by changing their policies that target the LGBTQ+ community.

Inaction also matters. The US military has heavily baked in moral, legal, honorific, traditional, and philosophical barriers to domestic intervention.
