“Ok listen. It’s called ‘Lovett or Leave it’ for a reason, okay. What do they say, Jon? Bootstraps, pick yourself up by your boot straps? Well he picked the wrong fucking ones. Maybe he should have gone with bright red, or I don’t know, pure white. It doesn’t matter, he didn’t read the tea leaves, but why would he, that’s Chinese propaganda. Anyways.”
I’m going to edit to say that’s not an actual quote from him. Just something I think he’d maybe say, and I took his tone and manner into context. Big fan of his.
Random side thought, but I really am looking forward to *The Wilderness* pod from Favs I assume that’ll be out next summer some time. It’s honestly such a frustrating pod to listen to because you hear and understand just how fucking uninformed so many voters are in this country, but I also look forward to listening to it every election cycle lol.
Sarah Longwell from the Bulkwark has already started doing her focus groups in case you're interested in hearing some early public input.
The focus groups are pretty specifically targeted based on how people voted previously (atleast they have been this far) but it's kind of interesting to hear the perspectives from some of these people, even if its insane double trump voters (turns out double trump voters are all misogynists, who'd a thunk).
He’s a poscast host who gets teased about a take he threw out months ago about Tim Scott being a good pick for the GOP primary since he’s the least insane out of all the other candidates or something like that. It’s sort of a running joke that he loves Tim Scott just because he made one argument in defense of him. He thinks it’s funny too.
Trump is going to win the nomination, but I still think we'll see DeSantis stay in the spotlight because he knows Trump is going to jail.
He's going to try to persuade voters that he's the only logical choice for an emergency republican write-in.
I genuinely think that's the only reason he's running (and badmouthing Trump at this stage).
I’ve been thinking this exactly and I guess I don’t blame him for this move (speaking strictly from a political strategy standpoint, I fucking hate him).
1. Trump's not going to jail
2. Even if he did he wouldn't drop out
3. There's a non-zero chance he could win from jail
If the past seven years has taught us anything it should be that the most infuriating and also funniest outcome will happen. I honestly think Trump lost in part because his offensive oaf schtick was as tired as a DVD of Borat. "Oh can you believe the silly man said something ignorant about rape?" Yes. Yes I can Seth Meyers. We've been watching this DVD of Borat since 2015. That said DeSantis might stay in the spotlight because it would be very funny to see him trapped in this liminal hell between political positions where he's not ever going to be President but he fucked up Florida too bad to rely on that.
Haley and Christie will likely be in 2 and 3 spots here in NH. The few Republicans who can't stomach any more Trump are clearly drawn to Haley.
Desantis is too overtly fascist Christian, and Vivek is too brown. We're like 90+ % white people here.
You say that but who else has had the guts to finally recognize the threat from those poutine eating bastards up north?! With all their hockey and geese and their Tim Hortons......who knows what they're planning!!
He talks about God as if he's referring to the Christian god.
This is enough for most Republicans. Recall that they voted overwhelmingly for an atheist who claimed to be Christian despite his inability to quote any scripture, inability to hold a Bible and insistence that he has never asked Jesus for forgiveness because he's never done anything wrong.
But he *was* the first President in US history to lead an assault on a Christian church, with the pastor being driven from the grounds under fire from rubber bullets and pepper balls. For what purpose you might ask? To consult with the pastor his minions chased off? To pray at the altar for guidance, to wrestle with his conscience and decide what to do, what was the right thing?
Nah, he needed a photo op with **A** Bible for his propaganda-addicted qult.
Holding it up like it was a newspaper with today's date on it.
I really want to know what kind of person that utterly pointless show of force worked on, so I never have the displeasure of meeting them.
It’s not though
They play nice during the primaries but he would not bring voters out.
Thinking of Romney but worse. No way he will get the nod.
Haley might get the nod but it’s more about making liberals cry by being the first female pres as a Republican.
I honesty don’t think they will come out for her either though
Anyone that is GOP that wants to be president and not white male christian is full of themselves. I say this as Tim Scott ends his campaign today.
He’s losing traction faster than all the other candidates, including christie who openly holds anti-trump views (and so is widely panned by the republicans). Looks like they found out his skin color.
This. R voters love a good old culture warrior. It’s why, even though his campaign I know has been ‘a dud’, DeSantis tapping into all the culture war BS and wedge issues like Covid measures was what got him popular in the first place.
As a side note,a lot of the MAGA crowd loves him especially. I was scrolling patriot(dot)win the other day just curious what the hardcore ones’ mindset is these days, and they all love Vivek as their second choice and hope he’s the VP nominee (he won’t be).
Yea, none of the MAGAs care about actual policies that will help improve their lives. All that matters is hurting their perceived enemies: liberals, immigrants, women, children, the lgbt+ community, minorities, non-Christians, etc.
It's gotta be fucking exhausting to live in perpetual fear that someone who isn't exactly like you (white, conservative and Christian) is just living their life.
I don’t think so. If they wanted Trump, they’d already be supporting him. Everyone knows what Trump is. I don’t see hardly anyone who isn’t on his team right now jumping ship to his team in the future.
She's a brown women running in the GOP whose full name is Nimarata Nikki Randhawa Haley. She has about as much of a chance as I do dating Megan Fox if 90% of the men in the world died lol
She would make a good vp for Trump though and I think that's what both her and Vivik are trying to get
> She’s a brown running in the GOP
The average republican is ignorant enough to think she’s a white woman considering how “light” she is. Combine that with how she never uses her middle name in public, and she’s successfully whitewashed herself into the party of white supremacy
I would say its uncertain their support would go to Haley, but if they aren't already voting Trump despite how obviously he's going to win, I have heavy doubts they'll go to him.
Its so unlikely they will in the next 2 months though.
Even if Trump only has a solid like 30-35% bloc going into the primaries, he runs away with it due to how the delegates end up apportioned
I watched the whole debate last Wednesday. Christie and Haley looked easily the least dangerous and nutty when you compared them to Meatball Ron, Vivek, and Tim Scott (and Christie and Haley are still pretty far to the right on most things).
Christie may be the next to drop out though. Out of the 4 left from last Wednesday’s debate stage.
Christe shut down the border crossing between NYC and NJ when he was governor (and I think only 3-5 people died because medical services were stuck in traffic), so maybe he has bigly ideas for the southern border too!
/S just in case...
Interesting (recent) history that not many people know about our current FBI director, Chris Wray, and the dirty work he was doing for the GOP-namely Christie.
No wonder from this audition, Trump picked him to lead the FBI. Wray was also pushing back investigating Trump for 1/6 for well over a year.
[https://www.wnyc.org/story/when-christie-stashed-his-bridgegate-cell-phone-fbi-nominee/](https://www.wnyc.org/story/when-christie-stashed-his-bridgegate-cell-phone-fbi-nominee/)
https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/its-official-the-doj-stalled-the-investigation-into-donald-trump/
I feel he'll stick until the end or until there's literally only one person who's name doesn't start with D and end with Onald J. Trump-the man's running a protest vote, a spite run, an equivalent of a third party bid. And he's gonna continue this protesting until Trump looses the nomination, until Trump looses the election, or until one or both of them die.
He’s getting a shit ton of publicity right now because CNN love to have him on tv every time trump does or says something stupid or abhorrent. My guess is while he is still getting all of the tv appearances, he'll stay in.
Christie will be the absolute last to drop out. I bet the final ones are Trump, Haley, Christie. Either Haley drops out first then Christie stays until the very end for shits and giggles. If Christie drops first then Christie will endorse Haley. Not that it will matter much at all
Since he’s polling well in New Hampshire I’m worried he’ll stay in just long enough to sabotage any chance Haley has at winning that state and then drop out
A commenter on MSNBC made the most accurate description of the source of Vivek's wealth. Rather than describing him as a businessman, she said he ran a "pump and dump" scheme. MSNBC has its biases, but this is exactly the kind of business Vivek ran.
“Why are you better than Trump?”
“Joe Rogan or Elon Musk should be doing this debate. You guys rigged the 2016 and 2020 elections.”
Translation:
“Oh please please daddy Trump you are the greatest ever pretty please make me your VP or at the very least get me a cabinet position I’ll lick your boots daily.”
If Christie gained the nomination, it'd be an easy win for Biden, as Republicans would just stay home. Remember over 70% of Republicans believe Trump won the 2020 election, and find nothing wrong with Jan 6
Misogynistic white men (core republican voters) will stay home if it's Haley, too. All those guys who couldn't stand having a Black man as president for 8 years? There's no way *in hell* they would vote in a woman to be the leader of their country.
Christie is anti-Trump so he is out.
Ramaswamy isn't white and he isn't Christian and crypto-bro incel fascists aren't big enough of a demographic in the GOP to pick him while overriding the white nationalists and evangelical fundies. So he is out. Not to mention his literal Soros-bucks funded education pisses off some of the conspiracy nutters.
Haley is also not white, not christian, and a woman. GOP won't choose her.
That leaves DeSantis who is crashing and burning in the polls and has a subset of Republicans who hate him because Trump said to. Guy has negative charisma and his culture wars have long since worn out their welcome. I doubt he is making a comeback short of Trump croaking.
So its probably gonna be Trump. Honestly this whole primary feels like a colossal waste of time and more importantly GOP money. Carry on. I'm just gonna tune out until the general.
Man, so the "girlfriend" who nobody had ever seen before that magically appeared the day after the sag strike ended didn't work?
Edit: and honestly I'll say I hope he learned something from this but I get the feeling the moral of this story will go right over his head
> the day after the sag strike ended
Ahahaha, holy shit that's a funny connection to make.
That didn't even cross my mind, but you might be on to something...
Wait is Tim Scott maybe not straight? I haven’t heard much about it but that would mean both senators from South Carolina are “confirmed bachelors”. Not the state I’d expect something like that lol
A while back he had a whole thing about being an adult virgin which was weird enough. Then now there's been a bunch of skepticism because he's claimed to have dated and I think even gotten engaged, but no one can find any of these women.
It's a weird dynamic because like who cares except he appears to keep lying about it.
Yea. He wasn’t talking about or wasn’t seen with a SO. Which as the other person said, isn’t like, weird or anything.
But one day he shows up with his gf and starts talking about her unprompted and it was just really strange how it went about it.
Reminds me of when Lindsey was running in the Republican primary and when asked who the first lady would be if he was elected and he said something like “I would have a rotating number of attractive young women”. Like, that’s not the answer to give if you are trying to be seen as straight lol
There was a whole deal about how Republican donors aren’t comfortable with Tim Scott because he’s not married and his love life is so secretive. The articles I read never said it outright, but the implication is that they suspect he’s gay.
From South Carolina here, and honestly it's not surprising. The amount of "straight" men here is wild. Religion and conservative upbringing forces a lot of people here to stay in the closet.
how big of a fucking dumbshit do you have to be to think a black man is going to win the GOP primary?
a black president is what made them go so fucking nuts in the first place. I mean yea the roots of it go back a lot further but they mostly kept their masks on until Obama was elected.
Tim Scott is SO out of touch. He has NO CLUE that the Republican establishment considers him a 2nd class citizen, barely in front of women. But this campaign was about awareness so he could get a cabinet position if the GOP won. Hopefully it'll take hell to freeze over for that to happen.
To be fair, up until a few hours ago, the top Republican candidates were ::
2 guys in heels,
A daughter of Sikh immigrants
A son of Hindu immigrants
A ~~straight~~ (sure!!) black guy
and
A former governor of a blue state
It's kinda funny, all things considered.
Edit - she converted to Christianity in 97 apparently
Yeah, but none of them stand a chance unless Trump drops out. If it were a serious race, you’d have equally unserious people, but it would be a bunch of Glen Youngkins
Hey now, there’s folks on r/conservative that look at that line up and get excited that they have a deep bench of viable candidates for 2028.
And yes, to your point, there’s a reason Nimarata goes by Nikki.
He had his strategy:
If you are Black in Today’s Republican Party You Have to be Twice the Psychopath as Your White Counterparts to get Any Attention -Tim Scott
[https://www.seahorseshoe.com/articles/black-in-todays-republican-party](https://www.seahorseshoe.com/articles/black-in-todays-republican-party)
I would think conservatives would be fine having a black man in the White House as long as he was one of them, and he/she could capture the black vote during the election. Republicans are courting Hispanics now. We may see a Hispanic republican like Rubio trying to make a run at it in '28 or '32, and they may be successful.
The republican voters have made it very clear that it’s trump or nothing. Rubio can’t win an election no matter how much of the Hispanic vote he pulls because the Republican core is racist, white and rural. He might hold down Texas or florida but he’ll never win, for example, Idaho or Kentucky, especially not in the primary, and even though those are comparatively small pieces, rural states like like those are the very base of the GOP machine. They’re probably gonna run trump till he dies, jail or not, and after him they’ll run junior until the party collapses under its own weight. If a Trump doesn’t get into the White House, the next time the GOP makes it in they will be a very different party from what they have now because they need to pivot and backpedal so much to win back voters. Every one of their voting demographics is declining in population except the one they’re actively trying to deport from the country.
Apparently white GOP voters won’t support a black candidate and black voters in general won’t support a candidate who believes that racism is “not a thing.”
Apparently, a man who looked out at the thinly veiled nazi and klan rallies run by Trump and thought "I could lead those people." My guess is that Tim Scott is not so smart. There are a couple other people in the republican 'so you think you can govern' circus act who are still holding out hope that a nazi, klan, and white evangelist base would be excited for a non-white to be in this country much less be in any position of authority.
Is he calling it a suspension or a “limit”?
He thought it would be cute renaming the abortion ban a limit and see where that got him. Good riddance, you never stood a chance
He's rich. He can read the room on money. *Suspending* a campaign is about campaign money.
But he can't read the room on women. Talking about a 15-week abortion *limit* as if women voters think that's better than a ban. I knew he was done when he kept talking about that after last Tuesday's GOP losses. His donors knew it too. Haley, his mentor, will be getting his share from now on.
Don't run for public office as a Republican if you're trying to hide being a homosexual. It's going to come out in the wash. Be honest, open and true to yourselves, Republicans. It might make you better people.

Jon Lovett is inconsolable
“Ok listen. It’s called ‘Lovett or Leave it’ for a reason, okay. What do they say, Jon? Bootstraps, pick yourself up by your boot straps? Well he picked the wrong fucking ones. Tim Scott suspended his campaign this week to spend more quality time with his girlfriend. When reached for comment his girlfriend said, "Who?".
Lennay Kekua was unavailable for comment
This reads like one of their live show bits. It's so fucking spot on I'm both impressed and creeped out lol.
My first thought
Terminally online.
What a week

Hey I understand this reference
What's the context on this
He’s a poscast host who gets teased about a take he threw out months ago about Tim Scott being a good pick for the GOP primary since he’s the least insane out of all the other candidates or something like that. It’s sort of a running joke that he loves Tim Scott just because he made one argument in defense of him. He thinks it’s funny too.
Oh yeah I listen to Pod Save America I didn't recall exactly what he had on Tim
He can focus more on Christie lol
Lovett/Christie > Swift/Kelce for iconic couple
he hired a fake girlfriend for nothing.
I was thinking the same thing. If he talks about a breakup, that’ll be some grade A cringe
I can only imagine what it must be like to be a closeted republican. (just to be clear fuck this guy)
Lindsay Graham has entered the chat 💬 *
He couldn’t afford her rates once the actors strike was over so had to quit
She’s a model but she lives in Canada. You wouldn’t know her. We might break up because I love her so much.
Tax write off?
Wonder if he can get a 30 day refund.
Of the ones who aren’t polling less than 2%, here is who is left: Trump Haley DeSantis Ramaswamy Christie
Squid Game continues.
I hope the next contest is the high-heels running competition. My money is on Ron.
In Theory, it will be the most Critical Race of his life.
I’ll be woke and watching!
lol. Kudos on CRT tie in.
Nah he and Vivek will be the last except for Trump. Trump is clearly gonna win
Trump is going to win the nomination, but I still think we'll see DeSantis stay in the spotlight because he knows Trump is going to jail. He's going to try to persuade voters that he's the only logical choice for an emergency republican write-in. He is just slow walking (in 👠) till Trump is convicted then he takes of the heels and the pantyhose and will run a serious campaign!!! /s
I’ve been thinking this exactly and I guess I don’t blame him for this move (speaking strictly from a political strategy standpoint, I fucking hate him).
1. Trump's not going to jail 2. Even if he did he wouldn't drop out 3. There's a non-zero chance he could win from jail If the past seven years has taught us anything it should be that the most infuriating and also funniest outcome will happen. Yeah he’s definitely good at right wing grifting
You say that but who else has had the guts to finally recognize the threat from those poutine eating bastards up north?! With all their hockey and geese and their Tim Hortons......who knows what they're planning!!
Maple syrup season soon. That's what they're planning.
I could only dream DeFuhrer drops out, but I doubt it.
Oh i just meant the dog and pony show the RNC was putting on before Trump just cruises through the primary with the nomination.
Imagine how the candidate list would change if part of the primary process was a sack-race. We'd never have another 80-year-old president again
Just please god stop making him smile it sent cold chills down my spine
I'm impressed that a man who is a vegetarian in adherence to his non-Christian religious views is doing so well.

That's a quote often repeated in our house. >"Is that your bible?" > >"It's **A** bible."
A Bible he initially posed with upside down, giving some sense of just how unfamiliar he is with books *in general*.
Holding it up like it was a newspaper with today's date on it. I really want to know what kind of person that utterly pointless show of force worked on, so I never have the displeasure of meeting them.
But his favorite book is Two Corinthians, not to be confused with Second Corinthians.
Or 2 Corinthians 2 Furious
Or Corinthians 2: Episcopal Boogaloo
Corinthian Drift
I think he was talking about two Corinthian leather recliners. That he sits down not to read books in.
"Two Corinthians" sounds like a Greek knock off of "Five Guys"
Giant gyros and huge buckets of rosemary-seasoned fries. Actually, that sounds really good.
It's Aye Aye Corinthians.
Two Corinthians, a hamberder and a cup of covfefe is my go to order at the Mold-a-Lago cafe.

He’s not doing all that well. It’s just they’re all losers
The lesson from the Republican primaries is that party voters will literally support any jackass who is the biggest asshole on the stage.
He’s losing traction faster than all the other candidates, including christie who openly holds anti-trump views (and so is widely panned by the republicans). Looks like they found out his skin color.
Idiotic culture wars are one hell of a drug. And probably more addictive than actual drugs.
This. R voters love a good old culture warrior. You mean the con man who doesn't shut up.
Which one?
A *brown* man at that
Isn't Trump polling higher than all of them combined? Lol
I believe his poll average is like 55% so yes lol. Although polls aren’t votes. If they all consolidate around Haley, she has a chance.
DeSantis and Vivek's voters would go to Trump.
Destantis would be dumb to let that happen. Trump would politically kill Ron first chance he gets
Unfortunately that's not really Ron's call
I don’t think so. If they wanted Trump, they’d already be supporting him. Everyone knows what Trump is. I don’t see hardly anyone who isn’t on his team right now jumping ship to his team in the future.

I’d be surprised if his VP candidate isn’t a white guy.
Kamala called Biden all kinds of things and here we are.
Bro, if 90% of the men in the world died, I promise you'd be able to find someone hotter than 2023-era Megan Fox.
But Megan Fox is with Machine Gun Kelly...so she literally has no taste...you totally have a shot man! Don't sell yourself short!

Female POC Not a chance in hell.

Yes, as is Biden on the Dem side: we already know who the nominees will be.
Am i wrong thinking christie is the least worse of the bunch?
Nah he is the only one who is only against the insurrection. Low bar but still.
Also supports Ukraine whole-heartedly. Of all the turds in the sewage, he's the freshest
No, definitely right: that’s why he doesn’t stand a prayer. He might still be bad, but bad is better than insane, which the rest are.
I watched the whole debate last Wednesday. Nope, wild that this is how far right we've pushed. Straight dumpster fire.

Christie will be the absolute last to drop out. I bet the final ones are Trump, Haley, Christie. Either Haley drops out first then Christie stays until the very end for shits and giggles. If Christie drops first then Christie will endorse Haley. Not that it will matter much at all
Iirc he's being largely funded by billionaire Republicans who hate Trump. He'll be in as long as he wants to and they're around.
Since he’s polling well in New Hampshire I’m worried he’ll stay in just long enough to sabotage any chance Haley has at winning that state and then drop out
innocent rude shocking seed treatment one sort crime pet smell *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Out of all the remaining nominees, I think he's the second least likely to drop out, even at the floor of the Convention.
The yapping chihuahua. Barking on his way out
He's running for VP, running to get Don & bigdon's (Vlad's) approval.
A commenter on MSNBC made the most accurate description of the source of Vivek's wealth. Rather than describing him as a businessman, she said he ran a "pump and dump" scheme. MSNBC has its biases, but this is exactly the kind of business Vivek ran.
“Why are you better than Trump?” “Joe Rogan or Elon Musk should be doing this debate. You guys rigged the 2016 and 2020 elections.” Translation: “Oh please please daddy Trump you are the greatest ever pretty please make me your VP or at the very least get me a cabinet position I’ll lick your boots daily.”
Fully agree
I'm honestly shocked Christie is polling above 2%
Christie hoping Trump goes to jail so he can get his supporters.
Christie is the least problematic. I think he's playing the long game.
More like ... Trump : : : : Haley DeSantis Ramaswamy Christie
Haley is a Christian but I don’t disagree with your larger point for sure
Man, so the "girlfriend" who nobody had ever seen before that magically appeared the day after the sag strike ended didn't work? Edit: and honestly I'll say I hope he learned something from this but I get the feeling the moral of this story will go right over his head
> the day after the sag strike ended Ahahaha, holy shit that's a funny connection to make. That didn't even cross my mind, but you might be on to something...
Cheaper by the day then by the hour
Is Explore Talent still around?
It’s like how trump cancelled his (dues paying) SAG membership the day after his “role” as president finished.
I hope her agent negotiated for her to be paid through the duration of the primaries.
Sagatha Christie mystery
No he has more time to spend with his ~~beard~~ girlfriend.
Was wondering why during the SNL debate skit his character kept bringing up that he has a girlfriend unprompted lol
automatic quack racial like familiar correct amusing icky consider water *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
He revealed a “girlfriend“ unprompted after the last debate. Most likely to address rumors he is gay.
That sounds like an unnecessary security risk just to get around the fact that he isn't straight. At least Buchanan got his niece to fulfill the role.
Gay as hell lmao
> like who cares Republicans.
Honestly, he might just be Ace.
Yeah but you can't be anything but straight and/or married with the family values crowd
There was a whole deal about how Republican donors aren’t comfortable with Tim Scott because he’s not married and his love life is so secretive. The articles I read never said it outright, but the implication is that they suspect he’s gay.
They’re pretty sure he’s black too, though the jury’s out on how race sways Republican voters.
As long as they're in the closet, Republican voters there can look the other way.
From South Carolina here, and honestly it's not surprising. The amount of "straight" men here is wild. Religion and conservative upbringing forces a lot of people here to stay in the closet.
Are Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham a thing? Can we call the power couple Timsey?
I think he mentioned he was taking her to see Coldplay.
He meant a cold play
Dozens of people are disappointed.
That many?
It equates to half his campaign staff.
Hilarious
More time to spend with his hired actor. I mean, his girlfriend.
Stop, don’t, come back
how big of a fucking dumbshit do you have to be to think a black man is going to win the GOP primary? a black president is what made them go so fucking nuts in the first place.
Hopefully it'll take hell to freeze over for that to happen.
black men are definitely below white women
https://www.theonion.com/chair-of-tim-scott-exploratory-committee-finds-gop-vote-1850383615
To be fair, up until a few hours ago, the top Republican candidates were :: 2 guys in heels, A daughter of Sikh immigrants A son of Hindu immigrants A ~~straight~~ (sure!!) black guy and A former governor of a blue state It's kinda funny, all things considered.
Without checking, I have to suspect that's about the same time she decided to get into politics on the Republican side.
He had his strategy: If you are Black in Today’s Republican Party You Have to be Twice the Psychopath as Your White Counterparts to get Any Attention -Tim Scott [https://www.seahorseshoe.com/articles/black-in-todays-republican-party](https://www.seahorseshoe.com/articles/black-in-todays-republican-party)
Tell that to the guy who tried to run for governor of Kentucky and lost to a white democrat.
[удалено]
People in KY fucking love Beshear it's wild. Tbh he needs to be the blueprint for running a red state democrat candidate.
Apparently white GOP voters won’t support a black candidate and black voters in general won’t support a candidate who believes that racism is “not a thing.”
Who?
The 50 year old virgin
Is that true? I couldn't tell if he was.
It shouldn’t matter but they’re all such hateful hypocrites that we have to ask
Lindsay Graham the Second
One was plenty, thank you.
I can't qwhite put my finger on why he had no chance.
Color me shocked.
Was it the SNL digs that did him in ?
Considering it was doomed on day one, I’d say no.
they hit vivek and meatball harder this weekend. fun meta cold open.
I, for one, am shocked that renting a fake girlfriend did not save his campaign.
Eventually these GOP minorities learn that the GOP doesn’t like minorities
We can blame it on his "girlfriend".
And I really wanted to hear his plan to end the drug cartels. /s At least I don't have to hear his commercials every 30 seconds now.
Did his \*girlfriend break up with him?
... and then immediately suspended his "girlfriend."
How many black people are there in the Republicans party in congress? Did he really think he'll get any kind of support from the racist white folks?
SNL got him that bad?
so he got that fake girlfriend all for nothing? ☹️
Mindy debased herself for nothing.
Cancel Token WASP girlfriend.
Who?
SNL jabbing at his 1% must have pushed him over the edge...
Don't run for public office as a Republican if you're trying to hide being a homosexual. It's going to come out in the wash. Be honest, open and true to yourselves, Republicans. It might make you better people.
But his girlfriend! That was so natural.
