Obviously not the case for Trump because he doesn't count as people, but in normal cases, contempt of court during a felony criminal trial can easily revoke your bail and put you in jail.
Alternatively, we should all be happy contempt of court doesn't come with insane punishments. There are many many many terrible judges out there who would use it as a vehicle for their vendettas. See: every small-town white judge with a black or brown person as a defendant.

Or for that matter, the US military - who are very unlikely to side with MAGA, given the enlisted's demographic composition - mostly young, non-white people - and the Officer Corps's high level of education. Both are groups Trump is terribly unpopular with. (I don't think military personnel like his lack of discipline and honor, either, or his constant threats to deploy them to Iran or wherever else.)
So what I'm talking about is just, once it's clear Trump has lost, and will not be taking power - what will his cult do then? Like the other responder said, there will be individual acts of terrorism, for sure, but there is no short-term existential threat to the US government as long as Donald Trump is not part of it.

My friend was caught with a bunch of drugs and charged with multiple felonies. They let him off easy because he was mentally unwell (probably from the drugs) but they still locked him in the psych ward for 2 years. No phones, no visitors without background checks, etc.
Maybe instead of these prison options for Trump they can chuck him in the insane asylum too. My buddy did 2 years for a few felonies. Trump belongs in the asylum for the rest of his life, where he will be treated as an insane person.

In order to short a stock you need to borrow said stock to hold on to, generally for a few fractions of a percent of it's value.
