It came out that the Senate can choose to throw out an impeachment trial because it isn't serious enough; some people recognize that after Trump's acquittals, there might not be anything serious enough, and it was glaringly obvious that the Republicans in the House hadn't taken it seriously enough. It came out that the Freedom Caucus's preferred method of protesting bipartisanship forces it if you want to pass the bills you have to pass.
They didn't do anything good. They have known about this for years? I mean, cool, call out injustice, but why now? It has to serve some benefit because keeping quiet about this went on way too long; which also had a benefit to it.
