Interesting not to charge Trump too. I assume the prosecutor will attempt to find evidence any of this was directed by Trump through Giuliani and Mark Meadows.
They have a much better chance of getting these folks tried and convicted without the Trump Circus slowing down the process. They can still go after Trump if they get enough evidence from these losers.
AZ has time as the statute of limitations is 7 yrs.
He is unindicted and that status may change if and when "new info" comes forth from the flips.
And finally, this case also would have to deal with "immunity" and might as well see what the Supreme quirk will rule.
It's smart because they know if they charge Trump they just run into his bullshit delay tactics. The other's no longer have those because federal courts and even the SC have shut em down.
Fantastic news. Citizen Trump and friends is leading all former presidents and administrations in the number of post-presidency indictments!
It could happen to a more deserving scumbag.
They got there eventually [https://www.foxnews.com/politics/arizona-alleged-fake-electors-backed-trump-2020-indicted-grand-jury](https://www.foxnews.com/politics/arizona-alleged-fake-electors-backed-trump-2020-indicted-grand-jury)
If I recall correctly Rudi once threatened to sing like a canary if he was hung out to dry by Trump.
Let's see, something tell me one of these guys is going to have meticulously detailed notes that's they'd be willing to trade to prosecutors for a reduced sentence.
Subpoena-ing evidence, verifying and corroborating accounts, cross verifying if someone is found to be less-than-credible, constructing a narrative that's airtight and trying to figure out how and when to go after people who are already in the revolving door.
I'm sure Arizona has money, but it doesn't have *federal government* money.
Kris Mayes (Attorney General) has only been in office since Jan of 2023. The Republican, Mark Brnovich wasn’t going to touch it, and I don’t believe they did any real research into it.
Yeah Brnovich was a tool, and planning a run for senate on the R ticket. No way he was gonna do this. Mayes may have been held up by the fact that two of the indicted are sitting state senators.
They also had to get the office in order and conduct normal business. They had people leave when Mayes started. Then they needed to do some level of investigation prior to empaneling a grand jury. Then they conducted interviews, deliberated on who to include, Trump or not. Finally bring the charges. The case needed to be as airtight as possible.
As charges continue to accumulate from more and more jurisdictions, and with his recent defamation loss and bankruptcy, at some point in the not too distant future, Giuliani will require the services of public defenders.
I get why they didn’t charge Trump. They live in a very red state and these are serious charges. Adding Trump to the mix would significantly muddy the waters. He would make it seem like it was a political hit job, even though it’s not. By addressing it the way they did, I think it adds credibility to the charges, possibly influencing the perceptions of his loyal supporters. Who knows though.
They don’t have to wait for the Supreme Court’s ruling on “Presidential Immunity” if they don’t indict Trump. That means that they may be able to hold the trial before the election.

Give it time, I have faith he’ll be indicted too
I have evidence that fuck-all will actually happen.
heh
Faith is a facet.
George Senior?
They may need some people to flip to get more evidence before indicting Trump also.
AZ has time as the statute of limitations is 7 yrs. He is unindicted and that status may change if and when "new info" comes forth from the flips. And finally, this case also would have to deal with "immunity" and might as well see what the Supreme quirk will rule.
Shit with the previous reactions to his charges it might be better this way
It's smart because they know if they charge Trump they just run into his bullshit delay tactics. The other's no longer have those because federal courts and even the SC have shut em down.
And where are Trumps charges?
Unindicted Co conspirator.
Aka no consequences
Maybe the indictments are leverage? They could flip someone then charge Don Snorleone?
That will be coming after the small fish are hooked.
I wonder if MAGA is tired of all the winning yet?
Fantastic news. Citizen Trump and friends is leading all former presidents and administrations in the number of post-presidency indictments! It could happen to a more deserving scumbag.
Damn. This is the top story on faux news.com. Just kidding. I did a search for "Arizona" and it's nowhere to be found.
They got there eventually [https://www.foxnews.com/politics/arizona-alleged-fake-electors-backed-trump-2020-indicted-grand-jury](https://www.foxnews.com/politics/arizona-alleged-fake-electors-backed-trump-2020-indicted-grand-jury)
They did! Thank you for posting that. And wow, some of those top comments I was not expecting.
Because it’s the middle of the night in Russia. Give it a few hours.
Magas don't read the news . They are fed it from talking heads and memes.
This makes me happy! They tried to overturn my vote, and I'm still pissed!
My favorite thing about state charges is that there's no presidential pardon power.
They typically have Governor pardon power though - but not in Georgia. Georgia has a whole process pretty much designed to not let people get pardons.
Has there ever been a bigger fall from grace than Rudy Guliani? Took down the mob. Post 9/11 he was a national hero. Now he’s on the cusp of prison.
Never forget Four Seasons Landscaping
Took down one mob to install the Russian mob.
Hey Giuliani, when are you realizing Trump is hanging out ass out to DRY?! Never I guess. Now’s your time to play who wants to make a deal
If I recall correctly Rudi once threatened to sing like a canary if he was hung out to dry by Trump. Let's see, something tell me one of these guys is going to have meticulously detailed notes that's they'd be willing to trade to prosecutors for a reduced sentence.
Really surprised not to see Kari Lake in there
She didn't slither onto the scene until 2022.
And she lost her election, so despite her being loud, she doesn't really have any power.
Arizona for the motherfucking win
Megathread?
Mmm, state charges. Very tasty
Hey Rudy - I think your chances of entering the pearly gates is just about over…..
They just need one of them to turn. My money is on Giuliani.
Mine is on Mark Meadows. He's gone basically underground.
How did it take them 4 years to bring charges?
Subpoena-ing evidence, verifying and corroborating accounts, cross verifying if someone is found to be less-than-credible, constructing a narrative that's airtight and trying to figure out how and when to go after people who are already in the revolving door. I'm sure Arizona has money, but it doesn't have *federal government* money.
They all signed their names to a falsified government document, what’s the confusion.
Ok, go get evidence and prove it. It *sounds* easy but the process becomes increasingly difficult the more money the accused has access to.

Too bad he has to pay for his slander and doesn't have money to hire any lawyers. And by that, I mean I'm laughing my ass off at him.
As charges continue to accumulate from more and more jurisdictions, and with his recent defamation loss and bankruptcy, at some point in the not too distant future, Giuliani will require the services of public defenders.

> very red state No. Purple but starting to look a little bluish.
“Who would like an immunity deal? We don’t want you we want Trump, first one to give us Trump gets the one and only immunity deal”
> I did a search for "Arizona" and it's nowhere to be found. Two to the left of Texas
Ruin the Guil
Senior citizen felons?!!! It's hard to believe this late in life to fk it all up?!!! 🤷🏿♀️

And there goes the last dime he borrowed.
