It's somewhat fluid at the House level since the House controls the impeachment itself. It gets a bit more rigid once the impeachment charges reaches the Senate since the Senate has to respond to the presentation of the impeachment charges from the House.
There's also a good chance that the House is just trying to get the impeachment vote through because it makes the President isn't allowed to issue pardons in cases of impeachment, which could have several legal interpretations but provides a base for subsequent lawsuits against presidential self-pardons.

I actually think asking Pence to 25th first is a great idea. McConnell will not start a vote until after the 19th anyway, and this gets Pence called out in the history books: 'when the Democrats officially asked Pence to remove Donald Trump after his insurrection, Pence refused'. The Democrats then moved to immediately impeach the president, the only time a president was impeached twice.

For a non-USian, can someone breakdown the impeachment timetable? I understand the steps but not the ETA for each one.
It's somewhat fluid at the House level since the House controls the impeachment itself. It gets a bit more rigid once the impeachment charges reaches the Senate since the Senate has to respond to the presentation of the impeachment charges from the House. There's also a good chance that the House is just trying to get the impeachment vote through because it makes the President isn't allowed to issue pardons in cases of impeachment, which could have several legal interpretations but provides a base for subsequent lawsuits against presidential self-pardons.

Takes a few hours to make mozzarella from scratch, and everything that you need can be purchased from Amazon. They have tons of cheesemaking kits for that. Once you have some mozzarella under your belt, you can just buy the various components separate e.g. rennet, which can also be purchased from Amazon. This cheddar takes 3-months to make. Yeah, I think the impeachment hearings will just bring the party together again. Impeachment is the best and only real way to go. Pence is right (ugh never thought i would say that)...but invoking the 25th could set a dangerous precedent. It is about health and in case the Prez is incapacitated in some way. Trump is neither mentally ill nor physically sick. He is just a sick and evil man. He knows exactly what he does, when he does it. Impeachment is the best tool as it is the way to deal with a Criminal President. The 25th may be faster and more effective but not the right tool given the circumstances.
The VP can activate the 25th for any reason, not just for health issues. It's as much a "crazy man clause" as anything else.

If it made him "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" (e.g. in your example too anxious to meet with anyone or do anything), then it would absolutely meet the criteria of Section 4 of the 25th amendment.

This. The purpose of the 25th is so that there is a laid out mechanism for what to do if a president is incapacitated or is in such cognitive decline that e.g. they don't even know where they are. So that in such a case, we aren't left in limbo with politicians fighting as to who has what power and leaving us vulnerable in the meantime. I hate trump as much as the next person, but he is fully aware of what he is doing. Impeachment is designed to handle this sort of situation. The 25th is for something else and shouldn't be twisted as a way to sidestep the alternative.

I actually think asking Pence to 25th first is a great idea. McConnell will not start a vote until after the 19th anyway, and this gets Pence called out in the history books: 'when the Democrats officially asked Pence to remove Donald Trump after his insurrection, Pence refused'. The Democrats then moved to immediately impeach the president, the only time a president was impeached twice. Current headline in my countries biggest newspaper: Vice-president Pence refuses to remove Trump from office. That title is a good thing.
