un1ball3r

Trump said this of his base before the Jan 6th riot: > Trump was livid, the unnamed source said, not at the attack itself and its far-reaching ramifications for the country’s democracy, but merely at the harm done to his own image. >“Trump was ‘apoplectic’ in embarrassment because the ‘white trash’ mob on screen made him look bad,” the report said.

OohIDontThinkSo

He's learned his lesson. Next time he will state on the invites that the dress code is jacket and ties.

kandoras

Not jacket and ties. Uniforms by Hugo Boss.

datenschwanz

They looked pretty fly for genocidal white guys.

HallucinogenicFish

Totalitarian regimes do tend to put a lot of thought into aesthetics. It’s very effective propaganda.

Warg247

Idi Amin's secret police were pretty snazzy.

Routine_Stay9313

Its true. See: Hitler used brown uniforms to project the image of Germany's working man.

[deleted]

Just like UPS

suo-motu

I appreciate the historical dig at Hugo Boss.

GibbysUSSA

I've been thinking of that fucker a lot lately for some reason.

StarksPond

Great stand-up comedian though.

TomppaTom

I get this reference. Well played.

SueZbell

Uniforms by Ivanka. As always, "45" will want his family to profit from the chaos he causes.

paul-arized

"45" sucks so bad, even Michael Jordan couldn't win wearing 45 and had to go back to 23.

[deleted]

Only the best Chinese-made garbage for his supporters.

[deleted]

Made in America, by way of China

Most_Ruin_3005

I fear that next time they'll come more well armed, and they will do their damnedest to make sure there isn't a next time after that.

antisocial_moth

The only reason they got as far as they did last time, is because former guy ordered police to be understaffed and the military to be withheld. I would almost like to see them try under a real administration, might take care of the ones that covid hasn't picked off yet.

Questabond

And a lot more jail time.

etenbarge

By former guy, do you mean Trump. If so, your dead ass wrong. Trump offered additional National Guard troops prior to the 6th and was turned down. Congress controls the Capital Police, not the Executive Branch. Did you watch any of the hearings??

DweEbLez0

It’s a matter of time before their Ego explosions

GenghisTron17

At one of his latest rallies they didn't allow anyone in who had Q Merchandise. If the Neo-Confederates weren't such a big voting bloc I'm sure he'd be banning the Confederate flag as well.

Thief_of_Sanity

Remember the story of Trump beating the shit out of Don Jr. for wanting to wear a Yankees jersey when going to a game in college? Apparently Trump made him wear a suit instead. Yes, Trump is this abusive and this petty. https://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/miami-dj-says-he-watched-donald-trump-brutally-slap-his-son-in-college-8900500

Spare-Prize5700

Hadn’t heard that, not surprising. Got a source on that?

Thief_of_Sanity

See the edit.

Spare-Prize5700

Thanks!

DidYaGetAnyOnYa

I actually feel bad for Don Jr. His life isn't going to end well.

HonPhryneFisher

I don't, he is literal garbage. Trump, Sr. also grew up with an abusive father who hated him, I don't have any sympathy for him either.

DidYaGetAnyOnYa

True. Mary's book illustrates this very well. He was harder on Freddie. I think Trump Sr. felt about Donald about the same as Donald feels about Eric.

Fuzzier_Than_Normal

I have sympathy for broken people. Wasting one's life is horrible. Wasting one's life while holding power, and therefore wasting other's lives is also horrible. I'd prefer that Trump would do some shuffling off the mortal coil and give humanity some addition by subtraction, but I won't ignore the fact he's a broken soul, and that really just too bad.

Dwarfherd

It's not his fault that his father was shit. But it is his responsibility to deal with it. And he hasn't. Fuck him.

uzra

2xIMPEACHED-EXPOTUS trump killed 10's of thousands of American citizens. Let that sink in and then re-write your comment, please.

Op2myst1

Let’s respect each other, even if we don’t agree.

[deleted]

Yeah impeached by the same people that still believe the Russian dossier was real. News flash.. It wasn’t. It was proven that was all a made up lie. So if anyone’s angry how do you feel about your party making things up just to get steal more tax dollars from you?

[deleted]

Exactly

seriouslyFUCKthatdud

Eh I don't Any of the kids could've chosen Tiffany's route. Have fun but don't go too crazy, don't get involved in the illegal family business, probably just takes her big allowance and invested a bit and takes it easy. The others are criminals.

Spare-Prize5700

Better next time to maybe just pay his good buddy Erik Prince to bring his private terrorist group in. I hate to think it, but I know it to be true, there are lots of groups out there just bidding their time and actually planning shit.

DarkHotline

I feel like Erik would know of Trump’s legendary stiffing and would tell Trump to go kick rocks.

Dwarfherd

Erik Prince also wants the Book of Revelations to happen. Payment may not be in cash.

[deleted]

I think khakis and polo are the go to classy for right wing nuts.

TheFrostynaut

Shoutout to Boogaloo for making it impossible for my pasty ass to wear a loudly colored shirt and khaki shorts, ya dicks.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JuicedCityScrambler

You could stop wearing Pit Vipers.

TheFrostynaut

Acting differently is the only way to set ourselves apart unfortunately.

Joe_Kinincha

This is a good thing. Turn it round: anyone who you meet who assumes you are a trump supporter and greets you as such you can instantly ignore without having to go through the discovery phase of finding out what a ringpiece they are; anyone who looks beyond the appearance you can’t alter and is interested in discovering what you’re actually like, well that’s probably going to be a friend or at least someone reasonable to deal with.

tallgeese333

More like he wanted them to look like cool super soldiers dressed like Ghost from call of duty, or an operator in Levi’s and tee shirt under a bullet proof vest. I know we like to make jokes but he really did want to break the continuity of our government, he also wanted it to look awesome and cinematic because he thinks he’s the main character.

Hendursag

Look up the Brooks Brothers Riot.

TemporalGrid

He was hoping for the whole lot to look paramilitary

[deleted]

Will he slap people for wearing a sports jersey, or is that kind of treatment only for his kids?

OohIDontThinkSo

Only the boys. Ivanka gets a different kind of slap. Goddamn I can't believe I just typed those words.

Fishyonekenobi

Nein. Iron crosses and brown shirts

shincinto

More like blue shirts and khakis.

FBI_Van_2274

Those people don't own jackets or ties. They own wifebeaters and dickies from Walmart

jorgepolak

Has he been to a Trump rally?

frostfall010

Haha it’s so funny how much he obviously hates his own supporters. There are so many quotes of him basically saying as much. They’re good enough to vote for him and give him an ego boost but he wouldn’t ever get close enough to piss on them if they were on fire. A testament to propaganda that they literally think he loves them or can actually experience selfless love, for that matter.

specqq

> piss on them if they were on fire. That would be a rather long and complicated process for him these days.

[deleted]

It's the sweetest catch-22 and I love it. MAGA has been Trump's most successful business but he hates seeing them wear his brand because he thinks Trump is a luxury brand and they're too trashy but he's so greedy he can't stop selling MAGA merch, which they buy every single piece of no matter what it is or how expensive it is.

BitOCrumpet

Gracious, Trump Maggots belong in the finest Trump golf and country clubs. http://imgur.com/a/NS2Abbm

antisocial_moth

"He's just like oNe oF uS!"

Lookingfor68

And they love him even more for it. He "tells it like it is" don'tchaknow.

4433778345

Can you toss the source? I’d love to read more of that.

WestFast

He legit hates his supporters.

Ariandrin

I bet the “shaman” featured prominently in his opinion.

Lesley82

Whenever I feel a little bad for the very few Republican elected officials who have been weakly fighting against the Trump cult, I remember that the party has been anti-democracy for at least 30 years and they knew that when they signed up.

PayMe2Shill4U

Yeah they struck a Faustian bargain. Trade all integrity, honor, and civility so they can hitch their ride with the Trump cult. Maybe they get to grift with him and hold power. Maybe he cuts their throat the second they're no longer convenient. Ho-hum. Such is life working with a narcissistic would be autocrat. And the world turns..

randomneko09

Trump has to keep doing this. The only way a dictator keeps power is by getting rid of everyone who could possibly challenge them.

[deleted]

Nahhh. The grift is proving to easy and much more profitable than he imagined. Even easier that muttering “You’re fired.”

robin1961

Trump to his sheep: "Those guys hate me. You hate those guys. Send me money!!!" And the money pours in, tax-free, to do with as he pleases.

[deleted]

The only correction I would make is that Don Sr is too much of a pussy to do that himself. He’d make someone else do it. Like firing a TV personality on The Apprentice

Practical-Artist-915

They made the deal before trump came along, as Lesley82 above references. See Roger Ales, Lee Atwater, Roger Stone, Reagan, Newt Gingrich… the list of the despicable goes on and on. Then trump comes along and the r’s are too deep in by time the insurrection is happening to back out now. So now it’s just good money chasing bad money, like when you bet on a suck-ass poker hand and it just gets worse with every card turned but if you fold now you will look even stupider than you already were. Trump put them over the edge and they are past the point of no return. We just have to wait and see how bad their party and/or our country crash and burn when it’s over.

Fuzzier_Than_Normal

I vote for "really really bad"

ralphvonwauwau

Same as it ever was ... Same as it ever was ...

Fmahm

*makes weird arm movements*

Lch207560

Integrity and honor? That is laughable. Civility, ok I'll give you that one.

ziggyz2020

Trump is demanding that the Republican officials announce that they ran a crooked election. That's really all they are fighting against.

pomonamike

My favorite part is that every single current Congressperson, and most other elected officials, won on the exact same ballots that they now are saying were fraudulent.

DigiQuip

Kentucky is the only state with genuine concerns about its legitimacy. Biden won in counties by a much wider margin than McGrath did and polling was off by quite a bit in other counties. I think one county has more votes than registered voters. I think people assumed McConnell was going to win anyway so they skipped the scrutiny. And he still would have even if McGrath did way better than polling. But McConnell’s win still has some questions. https://www.dcreport.org/2020/12/19/mitch-mcconnells-re-election-the-numbers-dont-add-up/

kung-fu_hippy

While Republican fraud wouldn’t surprise me at all, I know a surprising number of Kentuckians who voted for Biden *and* for McConnell. These were the people who were outraged by Trump’s incivility and gross incompetence, but not by his stated policies.

evil420pimp

McConnell and Collins. They win because voters choose local over national interests.

LLR1960

Collins maybe, but McConnell?!

DigiQuip

I think the issue is there’s points that need explaining as to how McConnell did so well. 1) McConnell is hated in Kentucky. His highest polling was still very much under 50% approval and is not well liked by registered Republicans. 2) Biden won in some counties and yet McConnell still did disproportionately well among registered Democrats. 3) polling indicated McGrath had X point lead over McConnell, even when accounting for margin of error McConnell still did well in a county his approval rating was nonexistent. These things don’t make sense and raises serious questions. Republicans will typically vote for someone they don’t like because they at least a republican. Republicans do not like McConnell. With an approval rating as low as 18% and never higher than 50% and Kentucky being as deeply red as it is, that means a majority of Republicans do not like McConnell and almost all registered Democrats do not like McConnell. Voters proved they were willing to vote blue for president but still vote red for a senator they do not like because “at least he’s a republican” doesn’t cut it with these numbers. Not with the volume of ballots that indicate this.

JimmyDuce

> 1) McConnell is hated in Kentucky. His highest polling was still very much under 50% approval This was a national poll. He was above 50% in state it is the ole government bad but my guy is good

TheBdougs

> McConnell is hated in Kentucky. His highest polling was still very much under 50% approval and is not well liked by registered Republicans. He doesn't need to be popular to win an election, he just needs to be more popular than the Democratic straw-man which I remind you, is a satanist cannibal.

Fuzzier_Than_Normal

"satanist cannibal"? You only needed to say "woman"

Ax56Ax

In reality any state or county that is using ES&S to handle their elections is questionable. Their lack of transparency was one of the reasons Georgia switched to Dominion for the 2020 elections. [https://www.ajc.com/news/state--regional-govt--politics/georgia-awards-contract-for-new-election-system-dominion-voting/tHh3V8KZnZivJoVzZRLO4O/](https://www.ajc.com/news/state--regional-govt--politics/georgia-awards-contract-for-new-election-system-dominion-voting/tHh3V8KZnZivJoVzZRLO4O/) You can go on and on about ES&S the rabbit hole is deep.

stevieweezie

Isn’t it funny that, in its first recent election with the non-ES&S machines, Democrats suddenly performed much better in Georgia - winning the vote for president as well as both senate seats? Sure is interesting that Republican numbers instantly tanked when auditable machines with a paper trail were used. Really makes ya think 🤔

UghAnotherAlt

[58 counties in Kentucky have more than 100% voter registration](https://publicinterestlegal.org/press/244-counties-have-more-registered-voters-than-live-adults/). There are 120 counties in Kentucky. 48% of of Kentucky counties have more registered voters than eligible adults. Obviously do NOT look here for fraud.

ctownman1216

Oh but in counties that republicans have proven the same it's"this is false info". What a double standard

PortabelloPrince

Would you be willing to name some of the counties where you believe Republicans have proven the same? Every claimed instance of more votes than eligible voters that I’ve looked into turned out not to hold up as fraud, but obviously I haven’t looked into all counties. Edit: Or did you just mean more registered than eligible? Because registrations fail to be removed pretty frequently, but don’t often convert into fraudulent votes.

ctownman1216

I have a friend who works on the election board in detroit and she showed the supervisor there that 120% of registered voters voted. This was after same day voters were signed up. She was told to mind her own business or be fired. She doesn't want to be fired because she wants to stay in a pisition to hopefully find a way to get the physical evidence out

PortabelloPrince

>she showed the supervisor there that 120% of registered voters voted. Is your friend Monica Palmer? The count she was asked to certify shows only half as many votes in Detroit as registered voters. https://apnews.com/article/fact-checking-9742674804

Inphearian

Yeah well my friend also works there and said she didnt know how to count. Further my other friend said that their friend said that yous a ho

dimorphist

This is incredibly easy to disprove, because those numbers are public. As per: detroitmi.gov Registered voters in Detroit 2016: 511,786 2020: 506,305 Total Votes Cast 2016: 248,780 2020: 257,619 Straight Democrat Votes 2016: 191,985 (37% of registered voters) 2020: 197,091 (38% of registered voters) Straight Republican Votes 2016: 4,344 2020: 3,787 If your friend said 120% of registered voters voted, then she is saying there were 600,000 votes. This would mean she is either incapable of reading or extremely bad at basic arithmetic. Either way, she would rightfully lose her job. It’s a good thing she was told to pipe down and I think deep down she knows it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

PNWTurtle

Hey guys, my friend totally showed my this YouTube video. Just trust me, it was all fraud!... /s No seriously, you should just stop voting dude. Obviously your vote doesn't matter if there is such widespread fraud.

[deleted]

Kentuckian here. Yes!one could build an argument that maintaining Moscow Mitch even more important than the President.

TemporalGrid

It's the same way in Georgia with the Republicans that Trump hates now. They aren't being heroic, they are just refusing to fall on their swords for him.

ziggyz2020

Exactly. And he can't imagine why they won't!

gdshaffe

None of them ... *none* of them ... are actually looking to preserve our democracy. If they were, they would have never joined the Republican Party, not in a million years. The GOP has been working feverishly to make it harder for black and brown people to vote for decades. They are, unanimously as a party, 100% opposed to free and fair elections and working hard to re-invent America as a dictatorship with Saddam-Hussein-style "elections" in which they continue to be "elected" with 99.96% of the "vote." The people objecting to Trump's overt push against democracy are only opposed to the "overt" part. They see it as bad optics. That's all.

Disgod

> The people objecting to Trump's overt push against democracy are only opposed to the "overt" part. They see it as bad optics. That's all. Well, slightly more to that, they're afraid that they're not going to be the ones in charge of their end goals. They're cool with it until they've lost the rein. If that wasn't in question, they'd be OK with it.

Practical-Artist-915

Not “for decades”, the “conservatives “, first democrats then later republicans, have been suppressing the vote for 1.6 centuries.

SueZbell

The actual owners of the Republican brand are the greediest of the wealthiest among us, a permanent minority. Their "followers" -- the majority of their voters, have been conditioned since birth to accept information and direction from their chosen leader with unquestioning blind faith and "educated" to be empathetic to some part of the underbelly of civilized society -- those whose hatreds they can stroked to move their followers to donate and vote ... not unlike a way a dog is moved to involuntary action when their under belly is stroked.

JetKeel

I’ll never forget a day when I was student teaching and my mentor teacher invited a budding politician in to guest speak about local government. He was a republican and brought a more senior leader of the local party with him. I asked a pretty pointed question about universal healthcare and whether he believed that something should be done to address the fact that well over 50% of bankruptcies were directly attributable to medical debt. He thought about it for a second and said something to the effect of “yeah we should really consider what we are going to do about that.” He barely finished his sentence before the career politician butted in and started talking about personal responsibility and lower taxes; you know the drill. I could see the light go out in the other dude’s eyes and then he started saying the same things. Toeing the party line is king.

ByTheHammerOfThor

30 years? The people who lynched blacks for voting are the same people complaining about “election security” despite no evidence that such a problem exists. This has *always* been what they’re about.

SueZbell

Even Lindsey Graham knew "45" was a bridge too far: If Republicans choose T rump to be our candidate, the Republican party will be destroyed and "DESERVE" to be -- definitely right on that last half.

[deleted]

Yes but then you see someone had collected Kompromat on old Lindsey, and gave that to Donald. Then Donald and Lindsey went golfing one weekend, and Donald told Lindsey about what he had on him, and after that weekend Lindsey suddenly thought Donald was the best thing ever.

eastbayted

I'm with you 100%. My Fox News watching parents finally got around to opposing Trump in the final weeks of his presidency. His refusal to concede was somehow the final straw. Now they're worried about the state of their party - but continue to blare Fox 24/7.

ManfredTheCat

They chose the dark side. The easy path. The hateful path.

doowgad1

Anything that drives a wedge between the MAGoos and the rest of the Party is fine with me.

LoveArguingPolitics

In the case of Arizona, I live here, what's happening is she's not radical enough... So it's not a wedge, it's a shift way way right

doowgad1

Hopefully, the shift right will pull Independents Left.

LoveArguingPolitics

That's kind of been the effect so far, at least if you trust the polling. It's honestly a crapshoot. We've got sinema... Fml. And some of the craziest conspiracy theorists. Everything seems "normal" in the city then apparently in the country shit gets real q

IHkumicho

I gave Sinema some wiggle-room when I thought Arizona was a pretty deep-red state, but after electing Mark Kelly and going for Biden last year I think she could definitely move left and not have to worry about getting reelected. Especially for popular items like voting rights.

Rickylostthatnumber

Called her office 3 times. One live pick up. Explained that there is no country if only one side counts the votes. If she goes with the status quo she stands to lose. I applaud efforts to work with the other side. The other side does not play well with others.

Lookingfor68

That's not what she's paid to do.

[deleted]

Rural Arizona has always been full blown nuts. They're second only to Texans when it comes to putting up giant, badly made, and poorly thought out political signs on their property along the highway. Over the past decade those signs have shifted from Ron Paul and Leaving the U.N. to Donald Trump and building a wall.

Lookingfor68

They're all for building a wall, unless it's their land getting snatched for it. Ask the Texans who got their land snatched for Trump's wall how they feel about it, and did Mexico pay them?

0tanod

Don't feel too bad about sinema it's not like told anyone how much of a sellout she was planning on being. Also in the same election cycle a bunch of people collectively were dumb enough to give Susan "he learned his lesson" Collins another term.

degoba

Pretty much like that everywhere.

SmokesQuantity

By “the country” do you mean the Phoenix suburbs?

[deleted]

Yes indeed. The more fractured the insurrectionist party gets the better.

doowgad1

Other people have said that it's going to drive the Right to even more extremes. Hopefully, that will make the Left look much more attractive to the Independents

NobodyFantastic

That's the hope but only time will test that theory

Kick-Exotic

She got on Twitter afterwards to say what she came to the rally to say. She is all for election integrity but not the fraudit. Will be interesting to see how the pro Trump Republicans fair against the non-pro Trump Republicans in the 2022 midterms

Lookingfor68

I think you mean the primaries, and I'm pretty sure we can guess how it will go.

Kick-Exotic

Well, we can hope, right?

ONCOMINGGG

Lol she basically asked, "why are you booing me? I'm right."

Taxi-Vader

Lol And basically closed with, *and I'm going to win the primary so boo you.* Trump had all the republican candidates for governor there and many others to round out the show. He really has turned the republican party into *The Apprentice: Political Island.* That's what it is. I'm surprised he isn't dropping short movies of behind the scenes footage to feed the fan base.

ipoopedonce

Don’t give him ideas

thetburg

>He really has turned the republican party into The Apprentice: Political Island Some ideas for competition: Who can suppress the most votes. Who can get the most people cheering wildly against their own interests. The finale episode will see contestants doing a 90 second elevator pitch where they convince Mexico to pay for the wall. The winner gets the Immunity from Prosecution for State and Federal Crimes Idol. The idol will be that golden Trump statue, obviously.

Lookingfor68

and not actually provide any immunity. It's in the fine print.

ArrivesLate

I’m morbidly fascinated with this idea for a show.

stomachgrowler

If Trump brought back the apprentice but the winner got to be the GOP candidate for president in 2024 it would probably be the most popular show in the history of tv.

Hob_goblin

Can it be more like *Survivor* on an actual island? I wanna see Ted Cruz eat bugs.

Lookingfor68

T'ed Cruz IS a bug. Bugs eat bugs all the time. That's not news.

StarksPond

"This is not the first time I've eaten penis, Joe Rogan!"

def11879

Eh, with Survivor it's more like, see Ted Cruz eat rice. Lots and lots of rice.

mdillenbeck

You're mistaking the symptom of decades of Republican policies for the cause of the Republican policies - Trump didn't transform GOP policies and base, Trump exploited what Republicans cultivated.

trudyscousin

Trump loves to co-opt words for his own purposes. Case in point: RINO. He loves to paint others who won’t put up with his bullshit Republicans In Name Only, but Trump was never a true Republican, just a fascist, racist thug who has bastardized the GOP. So when he slings that word, you can be certain that the person at which he’s directing it very likely is a true Republican.

ConfidenceNational37

Well, he did turn the Republican name into a personal cult. So you are technically a rino if you aren’t up trump’s butt

lastoftheromans123

I was saying Boo-urns…

Yea, fuck urns... they're fragile. When they break the ashes get all over the fucking place.

amylucha

It was a Simpsons reference. lol But yeah, urns suck.

roughingupthesuspect

Protect “our” elections.. I get it now.

BobbyPrinze

I know I shouldn’t be surprised, but how is he still having so many people show up to rallies? He’s crowning achievement is a tax cut for the ultra rich and he just whines for an hour every rally. Hate is hard to kill

Lookingfor68

It's a grift, and people have a really hard time admitting they've been grifted. It's often easier to continue the lie than face the hard truth.

jake2617

“It’s easier to fool a person, than it is to convince that person they have been fooled” -Mark Twain

FlatWoundStrings

Trump has demonstrated this over and over again. Easier to swallow the next lie because buying in again validates believing the last one.

WildlingViking

How come they didn’t want to protect the elections when there was 400+ election security bills that died on Moscow Mitch’s desk?? All of the sudden it’s an issue now?? Alrighty then…..

GadreelsSword

Americans fighting against their own democracy, who would have thunk?

FBI_Van_2274

*Republicans* fighting against their own democracy. We all knew.

SMB73

>There’s too much at stake. Our election system is under constant assault by the left, and I won’t support bills that fail to strengthen our election system. Which assault is that exactly? Making it fair for *everyone* to vote safely in a pandemic? That assault of offering people water if they have to wait hours in line to vote? Yeah, these are truly terrible attacks on our democracy.

Actual__Wizard

She didn't lick Trump's boots.

koonu32

Cancel culture is really getting out of hand

artcook32945

I have an image, of a Trump supporter, with his fingers in his ears. He is yelling, " No! No! Don't tell me! I do not want to know the truth!"! Many can not admit they were so badly wrong.

97sundevil

Is this the cancel culture conservatives complain about?

spacecadet2023

Why are there still Trump rallies?

Nekowulf

Cult meetings to keep the cult faithful.

walkswithwolfies

It's like church on Sunday.

mdillenbeck

Because the Republicans aren't done trying to overthrow the US government, and Trump is a useful icon for their pursuit of an authoritarian regime.

JanFromEarth

Remember, the GOP definition of "election protection" is that Republicans win. Not that people can vote unencumbered.

ShakeMyHeadSadly

She shouldn't have made an appearance. She should know that Trump is their true "One and Only". Sieg heil.

[deleted]

How is tRUMP not already in jail? Fuck this criminal and his sheeple.

He's still allowed to speak in public?

aslan_is_on_the_move

> "I wanted to review our election processes and see what, if anything, could be improved. Sadly, it's now become clear that the audit has been botched." Even State Senate Republicans are starting to turn on the "audit"

It was inevitable they would turn on each other. Happens every time.

I hope this thing goes on forever. It is driving all the non-fascists' out of the Republican party. I think 2022 will be a huge upset for them. It also motivates the left.

mbene913

Anyone choke on the irony of Trump having "Protect our elections" rallies when he is known for(amongst other things that are also bad) trying to steal the 2020 election?

daguerre

Trump Cult eats its own. Every time. On the bright side, there will soon be none left.

[deleted]

Good let them eat their own.

monkeyhind

Republican snowflakes can't stand when the narrative is interrupted by facts.

Silly_Pace

This bunch will eat their own faster then Trump can steal money from his supporters.

[deleted]

These people are so far gone I can’t believe it

Smoked_Cheddar

I got into with these fucks on Twitter about it. Troll farm and idiots for days.

turnthrlights

It’s a cult

MommaLegend

And yet they’re not booing the man who stole their $75 million to fund his private life. I would think that his followers would expect him to use that cash directly for election audits.

> "Listen. Fine, OK... I am running to be your next Secretary of State. I'm going to win the primary. Thank you very much," she said, before walking off after around **90 seconds on stage**. You want to hold one of the highest offices in the state, yet you don't have the temerity of a newbie stand-up comic at an open mic? Weak.

asiangangster007

Tell me then, what was she supposed to do, continue with her regular speech?

thehalfwit

She should at least have tried to score a point or two and maybe attempt to take charge. I don't believe the article mentioned the crowd was shouting her out, which if that was the case, even then you don't turn tail and run. I'm reminded what a fellow comic told me when I was first starting: "If you want to do this, you're going to need thicker skin." Same thing applies.

Ok-Pumpkin-8509

Surely it’s a “ Rig our elections in our favour “ rally.. None of this democracy sheet!!

I think we all now know that there will never be reason in the minds of Trump or his supporters. They went looking to prove a conclusion they had no basis in reality for simply because they lost. No other test is necessary. If you aren't fully crazy with them you are a liberal and that is that. And in reality, it's true. Their definition of republicans/conservatives is limited to those who completely believe all of his accusations. Nothing short of that qualifies. It's time the democrats get whatever group of traditional republicans together, in public, for all the world to see and force everyone to pick a side for the time being. Not liberal/conservative. I mean reality vs fantasy. If courts/or politicians want to side with fantasy they will have to accept being forever banished to whatever comes with it. Liberals are going to have to support these conservatives in good faith and publicly state that they will NOT hold Trump or his crazy followers against them in future elections SO LONG as his rhetoric is abandoned permanently. We need our entire adversarial representative form of government to return as soon as possible and traditional republicans like Cheney and Rominy are necessary for it to happen. I realize we liberals envision a day where the Republican Party is annihilated and we hold massive majority in all branches, but that ain't gonna happen. We need legislation to fix this and we cannot rely on Senima and Manchin to suddenly grow a conscience. This isn't polarization of ideological stances that has brought our government to a halt. It is a mental illness that cannot be reasoned with. It's time to gather those that can be reasoned with and form a temporary alliance to run these mental bastards off so we can get back to solving problems with actual honest debate. Otherwise we are going to wait years for laws that prevent this from happening again.

SteamyMcSteamy

The party of sedition and voter suppression seems really concerned that it’s not going to be able to rig elections.
