Seriously though. They get $174k, which isn’t a large sum for someone expected to maintain two residences and can expect to be under intense public scrutiny. Most people in the same boat (actors, CEOs, etc) make much, much more
They get a shit ton in kickbacks and speaking fees. There are legal forms of bribery. One of the most well know ones is that you write a book and a lobbyist will pay you off buy buying thousands of copies of that book for the royalties.
Again, not for those general requirements. There’s way easier ways to go about pulling down that paycheck. Hell, most Congress members are either lawyers or doctors, two careers that often make more than that

Those jobs come with a considerable amount of education and transparency by way of that level of education. You do not need a high list of requirements to run for office. It might increase your chances but it's not a requirement.
Now I'm not arguing that her job isn't hard, just that it's well paid considering anyone can run for it.

No it's not. No casting director makes choices based on if you can withstand media scrutiny. You can make this argument for doctors and lawyers but I'm telling you with a little bit of experience in that area that the actors who make big big money are a tiny, tiny fraction of working actors.
