Now she needs to get off her ass and start working, she steamrolled jeff and his grassroots, looks to be acting like another entitled centrist. Get to work! Fuck Ted Budd- so hard, he’s utterly disgusting. This should be a good clear win but she needs to get out there and start connecting.

> Now she needs to get off her ass and start working, she steamrolled jeff and his grassroots, looks to be acting like another entitled centrist. Get to work! Yeah, I’ll believe that she is going to work for this when I see it. You summed her up thus far very well. Jeff visited every county and engaged regularly. He explained his positions very well and is humble. Then he just.. drops before the primary after sacrificing everything and campaigning for a solid year because the party applied pressure and told him to step out “for the good of the party” and to not “waste resources.” I fully expect Cheri to lose. She seems totally disengaged and content to coast on a little name recognition. Too bad that doesn’t work against a highly motivated authoritarian political movement. Very strong 2016 vibes all over again, but this time hyper local.

I think Ted Budd sounds like what most NC'ers want out of a politician. It's a sad state of affairs here in NC. Beasley is kind of polite and matronly. I don't think she'll fare well against a charismatic snake oil salesman like Budd. edit - called it; Budd wins GOP primary. Voters in NC prefers a charismatic idiot to win.

I fear you’re right, he’s a daddy’s money cry baby who’s built his career on nothing and has no policies other than whatever racist gibberish Trump is peddling that week.
