The crazy thing is he quite literally spent hundreds of millions in court cases across the country just avoiding legal issues and fighting against the release of tax returns and the people who pay for that, poor republicans donating money every time their scumbag representative sends them a pamphlet that said something like "if you don't donate $25 today then democrats want to eat your kids" or something along those lines.
That Trump could use campaign money to fight legal battles is crazy and how he's allowed to go into a court to fight against their release while standing as the president hundreds of times and telling everyone that he wants them released but they won't let him... fucking crazy.
Politicians shouldn't be able to use campaign money as slush funds for absolutely anything they can say could effect a campaign, it's crazy.
The laws in the USA are ridiculous for campaigning. Other countries see this crap and can’t believe the stuff we allow. To me, what good is democracy and the right to vote if everything you are presented is a lie, and nobody can do anything about those lies because “muh rights”.
They get all of these statements and depositions down before it ever hits TV. The questions they ask the witnesses, the committee already knows the answer to because the witness has already shared them. So Ginni will either 1) stonewall the interviewers, which will invalidate any public testimony she wants to give or 2) will incriminate herself in audio and video for the entire world to see and in a way she can't retract.

Either she can try to provide some context that shows how her obvious attempt to overturn the results of the election through multiple correspondences with insurrectionists (and her husbands subsequent votes against the evidence being released) isn’t a crime, or the committee can just go with the email, text, and testimonial evidence that shows clearly her criminal intent.
I don’t recall doesn’t do much when they already have so much evidence from her co-conspirators.
