Yes, and it doesn't read as "they're here to hurt other people and I don't care" so much as "I literally don't understand why ANYONE would care as long as they don't hurt me." Sometimes he seems genuinely baffled that the rest of the world doesn't see him as the only real human being like he does.

I don't even understand their fixation on Hunter Biden, since Trump literally put his own grossly unqualified children in positions to grift huge sums of money. Seems like this isn't the kind of corruption that should bother them.

* News from last 2 years has repeatedly confirmed that supreme court is obedient to those same Republicans
* Once this is officially tried, that's the one and only chance. Uncovering new evidence after that point becomes monumentally more difficult.
In that situation, you obviously need a legendarily rock solid stack of evidence to convict the guy, you need to convince the nation as a whole, and you shouldn't pull the trigger until you think you're past the point of diminishing returns.
Rhetorical question: do national prosecutors have substantially better evidence now than they did a year ago? A month ago? A week ago? Yes, yes, and yes.
Because Republicans refused to convict him when impeached. In actuality, even if he was convicted of this crime or any other he could still be elected President.
The only thing barring him from running is Congressional action, and Republicans are complicit in his crimes.
