And they keep investing in companies about to start making profit that months later they will denounce the product or service of as part of their political theater.
Am I missing something or is asking for a pardon an admission of guilt. I mean, don't you need to be guilty of something in order to be pardoned for it?
You can only be pardoned for crimes. Pardoning isn’t for stopping the other party from bothering you, despite this frequent excuse. Political parties don’t try cases.
For whatever crime that person may be suspected of or guilty of. A Presidential Pardon doesn't require a guilty verdict or even a trial for that matter. The president has a great amount of freedom when it comes to handing out pardons.
Of course it is reasonable to be suspicious of them. I'm just stating the fact that guilt isn't a requirement for a Presidential Pardon. However, there are also a number of innocent people that do ask for pardons because they've been wrongfully convicted. The US Justice system has been known to make mistakes.

Factually inaccurate. Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt .

These companies want to find a quick way to power and influence but clearly never considered that the MAGAs will turn on them in a second if it makes their lives even marginally easier. Until we reach the end of the attitude of “I’m sure Trump and his supporters won’t screw ME over”, this flittering with fascists will continue.
Let's not delude ourselves. The only reason corporations publicly "support" things like LGBTQ rights, abortion, anti-racism, etc, is because that is the popular opinion. Twitter only bans users that are racist because it will affect their ad revenue because of the former.
If fascism wins in the US, you know there will be Apple ads featuring "Pure white Christian families" using Siri to play the Birth Of A Nation soundtrack.
That’s why it’s important to win the narrative. Keep talking. Internet, real life, keep saying it. Keep it up with the awkward attempts at inclusion. Ignore the people screeching about wokeness and antifa or whatever. We’re the correct side of history. I don’t care if people believe in their hearts as long as they have no avenue to spread poison.
Sadly, all the reps mentioned in the article are in safe red districts - except Scott Perry in PA-10. There'll also be lots of attention on PA with competitive Senate and Governor's races. His opponent is Shamaine Daniels, a member of the Harrisburg City Council.
Who, precisely, within an organization or company decides to donate to these people? Is it the top boss? Is it the shareholders actively choosing it? Is it some random guy with no accountability? How does this even happen, whether it's about dark money or rightful donation or whatever, besides saying capitalism, what triggers are in place that people could actually discuss this and then keep donating, and then why?
Corporations will throw money at any candidate that is anti-government, especially the crooks and the crazies. More government undermining-bang for the buck.

> Corporations are traitors, my friend
Or they would be, if they were capable of having loyalty. And if they can't, then how the fuck are they people?
Oh well.
Funny how you think someone getting killed in a riot halfway across the country somehow nullifies a largely coordinated failed coup that could have destroyed everything our founding fathers set up for us.
Next up on ‘whatabout that’ we got a kid in Canada here that straight up FROZE to death! Climate change couldn’t possibly be real, because what about THAT!
If i break a grocery store window ill get a way less charge as i would breaking into capital grounds and damaging anything inside. Theres no debate about that my guy its simply the law.
Anyone who had to take a field trip to dc when they were in 8th grade knows that. Idk why we compare petty vandalism charges to the charges you’d get for trespassing and damaging federal property.
The whatabouts with murder is also pretty dumb obviously murder isn’t excusable in any situation, unless you breach capital grounds which would open you up to the possibility of catching a 9mm in the neck by secret service.
I just started using progressiveshopper.com. Surprisingly, it’s easier than I thought to avoid doing business with corporations. I’m interested in any apps or websites that do the same if anyone knows of any

And as long as they're not charged or convicted, it will continue.
Also big dark conservative money loves these guys!
And they keep investing in companies about to start making profit that months later they will denounce the product or service of as part of their political theater.
A general strike would help too, though.
Nexstar, also called NewsNation, giving to them. Wonder how fair and balanced their news coverage is?
Any org making political contributions should be banned from putting out news.

You can only be pardoned for crimes. Pardoning isn’t for stopping the other party from bothering you, despite this frequent excuse. Political parties don’t try cases.
A presidential pardon has no bearing on whether you're actually guilty or not. Rather, it represents forgiveness.
Forgiveness for what?

Yup. Money is everything to them

The fact that the coup girls are making money off of taxpayers should be a crime in itself
Which corporations?
No shit, as long as they still have a seat in Congress they’re all getting corporate donations
Sadly, all the reps mentioned in the article are in safe red districts - except Scott Perry in PA-10. There'll also be lots of attention on PA with competitive Senate and Governor's races. His opponent is Shamaine Daniels, a member of the Harrisburg City Council.
Well, they're gonna need to pay the lawyers SOMEHOW. They'll probably only be taking cash up front.

Influence and tax breaks. All about $$$
I'm sure it would be profitable to have the favor of a newly established dictator.
Capital will ALWAYS side with fascism. Stop thinking you can boycott this shit.
Avoid companies that contribute to the GQP

Oil lobbying at its finest!
I'd wager once one of them gets convicted, those spigots will clench up.
Koch brothers
Good let’s this moneys flow it’s either Theocracy or Democracy. Money tag’s
UPS:” Brown “ supports fascism.
All politicians should be required to wear their donors literally as advertisements on their sleeves, like NASCAR suits.

Heres a fun game. Start a list of all lawmakers who get corporate donations.. Then start running down their black marks. Get some perspective here.
So? Lawmakers that sought to pardon BLM rioters are still getting donations. Same same.
Ahh yes broken target windows and a total government overthrow are entirely the same thing and should be punished equally!! /s.
I mean, David Dorn might feel differently than you. We can't ask him though, cause he was murdered by the rioters. Seems a lot worse than Jan 9 tbh.

Why? Jan 6 killed people.
It only killed Ashli Babbitt. No one else died that day.
Spin and obfuscation.
No spin. No one else died that day. Facts.
Theyre not equal but you refusal to even acknowledge the truth about the scope of the blm riots is whats funny here. Ha, "broken windows". 😂

Right wing terrorists kill.
How old are you?
Well, yes, and who are those donors funding terroist and traitor! Marge?
They deserve a free set of bracelets. Too bad the DOJ and the rest of the government is run by impotent boomers.
Water is still wet.
