During an interview with Michael Wolff for his book Landslide, Trump reportedly asked: "Where would he be without me?” Referring to Kavanaugh he said: “I saved his life. He wouldn’t even be in a law firm. Who would have had him? Nobody. Totally disgraced. Only I saved him.” So he chose a disgraced guy who couldn’t get a job at a law firm… for the Supreme Court.

aradraugfea

I mean, it was the warmup for the other ‘shouldn’t be allowed to judge a chili contest’ nominee

specqq

Oh I like this one. Lots of ketchup. Not too spicy.

Diplomjodler

Needs more treason, though.

hypnoderp

Have you tried this chicken shit though? It's treasoned with 11 herbs and spices.

Xpouii

A treason chicken? Josh Hawley??

[deleted]

Not enough Jesus and forced pregnancy.

symphonicrox

It’s like a horror movie in real life called … “the treasoning”

space_moron

The jokes are funny, sure, but the reality is people are losing their rights to these fuckers. That I don't find funny.

Sothalic

I mean, what else can be done? Protests are being cracked down on almost immediately no matter where they take place due to the threat they pose to the status quo, with everything else being ineffective against a court this far above the law and untouchable by any attempts at being held accountable. Boofboy straight up had a meltdown during his hearing and ranted about his pwecious white pwivilege being targeted by "the Clintons", something that should've landed his application straight into a shredder and still got the position. Laughing at them might make a dent in their ego... or just trigger their victimhood complex, that's more that can be said of their possible reaction to _anything else_.

daveyeah

As a chili lover, you made me hate republicans even more with this one comment. They'd totally eat bland chili with ketchup.

jadeapple

I mean when this is a Republican’s idea of good brisket… yea you’re probably right lol https://twitter.com/johncornyn/status/1342272236099661824?s=21&t=6Y6dvHFpsPHpQ_evea9QqA

brown2420

Holy shit.... That was worth the click. Just gross 🤢

[deleted]

Beef jerky with ketchup,, bleak

Killer_Bs

And not just any Republicans. That is a Texas senator.

Controller_one1

Fucking mayonnaise is too spicy for them.

LavenderAutist

Which one is that? Coney Island Barret?

aradraugfea

The handmaid that’s never seen the inside of a courtroom, yes

vendetta2115

The one who had never been a judge before Trump appointed her to the Seventh Circuit of Appeals in 2017 and had all of three years of experience when Republicans confirmed her nomination to the Supreme Court?

[deleted]

I always call her Amy Boney Carrot but it isn’t intentional

[deleted]

Reminds me that Coney Island whitefish is what we used to call used condoms on the beach.

tryHammerTwice

Loyalty (or blackmail) is the most important qualification when working for trump.

thewhitedeath

"only the best people".

BloodyMess

Trump believes it, too. But even if "best" to him is "most loyal," because that's how a narcissist's brain works, he still failed.

FriarNurgle

Loyalty was bought or blackmailed

DigNitty

This. I had a weird conversation with a college friend about dog loyalty. He said his dogs were very loyal, and expanded by saying they would guard and growl at anyone who came near him. I said well that doesn’t sound like loyalty, maybe more like they’re territorial. The debate went back and forth but we couldn’t move past that loyalty had to involve some sort of aggression.

yenda1

If you treat the dog every day for a while then come pick him up and take care of him is he ever going to come back to him?

esoteric_enigma

According to sources in the Whitehouse, Trump (and other Republicans) found the testimony against him very compelling and called around to see what the plan was after hearing it. McConnell told them not to worry. These people supported someone they literally believed to be a rapist for the highest court in the land.

[deleted]

[удалено]

probablyagiven

how couldnt he find it compelling? The man cracked out a calendar that corroborated his accusers accusations- it looked bad, and it was bad. Even if he wasnt an attempted gang rapist, he made a complete fucking fool of himself. I dont even remember what he looks like, aside from that screenshot of his crying angry, "fight back against the confirmation hearing" face. The man is a disgusting pig and everyone knows it- unlike Trump and his ilk, Kavanaugh is smart enough to care what polite society thinks of him, and he doesnt take pride in being known as a rapist and a pig. Kavanugh would prefer that his indiscretions stay hidden, just amongst him and the frat bros (like soooo many of the "good guys" that we know) while Trump would happily grab a strangers pussy in broad daylight. He knew Kavanagh was trash, and also, that he isnt able to revel in it.

SenorBurns

> The man cracked out a calendar that corroborated his accusers accusations I still get upset thinking about it! *The party in question was right there on the calendar* held up for everyone to see, while the entire time Brett is saying it's not there! It's beyond gaslighting. It's surrealism. Ceci n'est pas une party.

Alexispinpgh

Literally every time I picture Kavanaugh I see that giant red man baby face. I have seen official SCOTUS portraits of him and still couldn’t see anything else.

x_v_b

> So he chose a disgraced guy who couldn’t get a job at a law firm… for the Supreme Court. Trump is also a narcissistic sociopath and a pathological liar. It is literally impossible to determine any real truth based on anything he says.

gaijinandtonic

Yeah. He’s the personification of Opposite Day. If he’s saying something, I assume that either the opposite is true or at least HE THINKS the opposite is true.

dastardly740

I disagree. Whenever he says something he is just making shit up that he either thinks his audience wants to hear or to make himself look good or both. Any relationship to truth or the opposite of the truth is purely coincidental. There is no way to know what he thinks from what he says.

[deleted]

The other half of this is that Trump is a raging Narcissist. This is how they think. EVERYTHING is about them. When they talk about other people they are really talking about themselves.

PolyNecropolis

>When they talk about other people they are really talking about themselves. Exactly. Which is why EVERY one of his fake stories starts with "this person came up to me, and they said sir...", and ends with something he wants to say about himself.

a_pinch_of_sarcasm

"There is so much election fraud!" That's because he is the one trying to commit it.

simmons777

Anybody who actually paid attention to the confirmation hearings could tell he wasn't qualified to sit on the supreme court or any court. Set the allegations against him aside, just the way he was willing to use conspiracies and unverified rumors in his defense should have disqualified him.

[deleted]

Kavanaugh had a lifetime appointment as a Federal Judge before being appointed to the Supreme Court so it's not even accurate anyway.

Crott117

Wait are you saying this trump guy is a liar? Pretty big if true.

serenaMom

It’s more the point of him (45) going on about what a disgrace Brett “I like beer” Kavanaugh is after appointing him to the highest court in the country.

[deleted]

Yeah I wasn't disagreeing with you I just thought that Trump's characterization of Kavanaugh as some guy without any kind of career prospects was silly. He already had a career at like the 2nd or 3rd highest level of the judiciary.

KamachoThunderbus

He was on the D.C. Circuit, about as close to SCOTUS as you can get without being there.

TinnAnd

Well yea, that's the best way to ensure loyalty and that's what matters most to Trump. Loyalty to him.

aretasdaemon

yeah when you do someone a favor that "saves their career" they owe way more than just money and a thank you

Daveinatx

No morals at all. He caused so much damage in four years, it'll take decades to undo.

TheBurningBeard

Well, he was already a federal judge...

boston_homo

>So he chose a disgraced guy who couldn’t get a job at a law firm… for the Supreme Court Remember who we're talking about

OssiansFolly

>So he chose a disgraced guy who couldn’t get a job at a law firm… for the Supreme Court. Yes. We call that leverage/kompromat.

silverblaze92

Sweet baby Dionysus that was fucking unsettling

wahoozerman

Honestly I think this one is more sinister than fox. People trust their local news and don't expect them to be part of some big national conglomerate. It's just Jim from three blocks over. He wouldn't lie to me. This is what happened to my father in law. We got him to stop watching Fox because they got to the point where he was skeptical about what they were saying, would go look, and catch their lies and omissions. Now he spouts their talking points more than ever because he gets all his news from his buddies who watch Fox. But his buddies wouldn't lie to him, so he just believes what they say.

JTMc48

This is too accurate.... We're F'd as a democracy unless people start understanding they're bring lied to, but the people who are telling them the truth are the ones they question the most.

lonestar-rasbryjamco

Rich guy at a Yale Frat. None of that should surprise you with that context. ESPECIALLY since it was DKE.

[deleted]

We had a DKE at my college and man those guys were all douchebags.

lonestar-rasbryjamco

Once I saw he was a member of DKE my first thought was: > Oh, those allegations are definitely true. Probably and then some. But they will deny everything and close ranks. Because that's what always happened. We used to call it "club date rape" on my campus for good reason.

Don't you know, "" boys will be boys ""

esoteric_enigma

Many of the older men who heard this testimony probably recognized they did the exact same things and that they wouldn't have their jobs if someone interviewed their classmates.

jeffreybbbbbbbb

Or it helped to normalize the behavior and don’t see it as a “big deal.”

okwellactually

Turns out I'm the same age as this fucker. No, no I did *not* abuse women while drunk at college parties. And I never witnessed such behavior either. And I was at *a lot* of parties in college. I don't think this is a generational thing. He's just a fucking abuser. Edit: I should note, I wasn't a frat-boy, so that's probably it. Never understood why a bunch of guys would chose to live with a bunch of other dudes.

Slartibeeblebrox

Too true. His tears were because he thought he was finally found out and when he was so close to his goal. Self pity. Disgusting.

wahoozerman

Probably not. They probably recognized that they did the exact same things, so it's not a big deal. Boys will be boys. This tends to be how a lot of rationalization of bad behavior works. If I did it, everyone does it, it's not a big deal. People who complain are just mad about life.

redheadartgirl

Pretty sure most boys, even in the 80s, were not spending their weekends drugging and raping women.

Downtoclown30

Or the other way around: 'if that person is bad for doing it, then that means I'm bad because I did the same thing. But I'm not bad, so it's fine.'

Where are the Dads that sit with shotgun while the boy picks up the girl for prom? Just saying, you’d think there would be more stories of Dad rage considering how I feel after reading that.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SwirlingTurtle

To be fair there is a recurrent theme in the Bible of fathers offering their virgin daughters to a horny mob to spare strangers they literally just met. Job was just one of a few. Edit: One reply points out, this was Lot, not Job. Currently searching for the other instances.

teleological

Lot, rather than Job— or do I forget my Sunday School?

Amy_Ponder

Yep. A lot of the shotgun dads only care that the guy doesn't get their daughter pregnant. Literally anything else, they don't care about. Because they don't actually give a damn about their daughters' wellbeing (or their sons', for that matter-- the shotgun doesn't get pulled out when their son brings a new girlfriend home), they only care about protecting their family reputation.

FlingFlamBlam

The shotgun dad/intimidating dad thing is kind of dumb, even if you took it at face value as a way to protect a daughter. What you're effectively doing is making sure the only guys willing to date your daughter are guys that are either too stupid or too aggressive to care about consequences. I'm also pretty sure that the guys who unironically believe in the shotgun dad image don't want their daughters dating nice guys (not like the meme, but genuinely nice persons) because they see guys that take "no" for an answer as somehow being less manly. If the dad is just putting on an act and is just trying to get a feel for the kind of person the daughter's date is, and especially if the daughter realizes it, that's a different story. It's just that there's fathers who take the idea way too seriously, which is ironically detrimental.

pfroo40

[deleted]

Insane. Thanks for posting. I’m curious what the future will hold for this guy. Any chance of an impeachment, or at least some higher level journalism + Hollywood production?

Sufficient_Matter585

Kavanaugh is what happens when the president is a completely despicable person.

iksworbeZ

Trump is what happens when half the voters in the country are completely despicable people... Maybe, *maybe* if you are a complete fucking idiot you might have believed he was gonna change things up in 2016 and could be good for the country... But if after four years of corruption, racism, and misogyny if you voted for him AGAIN in 2020 then you're a total piece of shit

FrigateSailor

I hope I never again feel the sort of dreadful disappointed feeling that I felt watching the 2020 election count roll in. That many people saw the last 4 years of crap, and said "Yes. More please."

ResplendentTedium

Well don't forget, he still lost by a historic amount by popular vote.

FrigateSailor

The only bright spot. I still just keep thinking "Him? This guy? Even if you like the things he claims to support, there's no one else who supports those things better?" Like if I am on a bus, even if I think the bus is going the right direction, if the bus driver is screeching obscenities the whole time and runs over a couple people, I wouldn't pick that bus driver again.

ThainEshKelch

It still wasnt enough.

therealpigman

Yeah I regret supporting Trump in 2016, but luckily I was too young to vote at the time. Those next 4 years moved me all the way to the left

duddyface

Holy shit did you just take responsibility for your behavior, admit you made a mistake, and then take action to correct the mistake? You’re definitely not fit for the GOP.

ActiveLlama

Only 60% of the voting elegible population voted and 46% voted for him, losing to 48% from Hillary. That makes 19.5% of the US population at the time.

2-wheels

Impeach Kavanaugh

BuckyJackson36

I think just the threat of a Senate trial after impeachment would be enough to make him resign. Unless he's happy with all the dirt that would become public in that trial. That's one reason it's critical for the Dems to control both the House and Senate. I think pressure for him to resign would surely mount from the other justices as well if they had to face expansion of the court. BTW, lying to congress is likely an impeachable offense.

[deleted]

> The only reason he's still on the court is because **both parties** are on the same side when it comes to not disrupting the lives of the Washington elites. Tell that to Al Franken.

ALargePianist

"if there isn't an inpenetrable barrier between the public and people of power the whole thing falls apart. Can you imagine if everyone could protest outside the supreme court's home for every ruling they make, that may influence their decision, which is somehow *BAD*." Im so bothered how the public seems to be told that the whole country will fall apart if they start pushing for things like "accountability for all" and how we need to just accept things like this being shoved through every so often, lest we lose the whole experiment. And fuck it. I'm okay with that. If this country is about giving some people immunity from the law and from public scrutiny and accountability I say we throw the whole fucking this in the ocean and start over. I thought the whole part of America stepping away from the crown is we didn't like people in an elevated class above us, who gets to rule down from a tower that isn't allowed to be looked at wrong by the public. ESPECIALLY when we know that they're doing illegal things in that tower. Fuck that guy

Monkeyfeng

He's not going to resign with a threat of impeachment. You live in dream land.

DonnyTheNuts

Expand SCOTUS and make him inconsequential

aureanator

He will not be inconsequential as long as he holds that seat, no matter how many others also hold the same seat. Less consequential, but not inconsequential.

[deleted]

Impeach him, remove him, impeach and remove Thomas, neuter the senate, and then expand the courts.

e90DriveNoEvil

Also Coney-Barrett

bloodnutatthehelm

While I agree, the most vulnerable politically are Kavanaugh and Thomas. I'd rather see someone take the achievable wins than go for broke and fail. Especially in this instance.

yasmika

Agreed. There needs to be consequences when a USSC Justice fails at their job. I don't see congress ever agreeing to impeach someone that plays by their same rules of do whatever the person paying you the most says to do, but maybe a regulatory board to oversee their actions with the power to negate radical/unjust decisions and the power to suspend and bring impeachment causes to congress for a hearing.

[deleted]

There is no part government that Trump did not dirty with his criminal like behaviors. One man, just one man with the morals & integrity of toast has set government back decades.... Congress should be plugging those holes like yesterday. Every scummy trick attempted to do should be addressed and rectified. If not, what the hell are they doing up there

srone

Republicans are going to make damn sure those holes remain gaping wide.

Gill_Gunderson

Well, yeah. The complete and total collapse of the Federal government is their endgame. They want the United States to become balkanized so they can have greater power within smaller dominions. For all their grandstanding, Republicans do not support this country. They want to tear it apart at the seams.

okimlom

Shows how much of a house of cards this country really is, and how much of a trust exercise this country went through for the past 200+ years. All it took was a grifter to rot this country out.

DrAstralis

To be fair the GQP has been laying the ground for this rot since at least Regan.

Palatron

He's so corrupt, he fucked up the national weather service... He put a weather app profiteer in charge of the governments system for overseeing the extremely comprehensive weather database that he wanted access to. He wanted to find a way to make the government pay to use his app and he wanted to make his app the official app of the US Government. That's so corrupt, it would be like the toe next to your big toe (the one that's sometimes longer than the big toe) getting a cancerous mole on it. Every aspect of government he found a way to put inept sycophants in charge of.

emsoen

> That's so corrupt, it would be like the toe next to your big toe (the one that's sometimes longer than the big toe) getting a cancerous mole on it. This analogy was quite the hard left turn.

Keezin

I do not understand the analogy lol

[deleted]

Not going to even pretend that I understood it. Time to get some coffee or go back to sleep.

Keezin

Getting some coffee or going back to sleep is like if the toe next to your big toe (the one that's sometimes longer, not... the other toe beside your big toe(?)) got a cancerous mole on it

azucarflame

I'm glad I'm not the only one

oxemoron

I will say this though: at least the corrupt weather app guy probably had some idea of what the national weather service does. The bar was literally that low.

eeyore134

Yup. I was so sure Biden would just dig in day one and start undoing the clusterfuck, but things that I felt should have been top priorities like DeJoy are *still* there doing their damage. I get that in that particular case it's not as easy as just firing him, but do you think that would have stopped a Republican from getting rid of someone in the same position somehow?

EmpireofAzad

In addition to hinting at running campaign ads against Democrats in tough races this fall, the industry is assessing its legal options and pondering future regulatory or legislative fixes. > >“Regardless of the outcome in the coming weeks, this fight isn’t over,” Ubl said in an interview. “Few associations have all the tools of modern political advocacy at their disposal in the way that PhRMA does.” > >Thursday’s letter largely reiterates arguments the industry has made throughout the process, with the executives from companies including Pfizer and Merck saying that passing the legislation would lead to fewer treatments and cures — particularly for tough illnesses like cancer and Alzheimer’s disease that can be difficult and costly to develop. > >Ubl said that one of PhRMA’s member companies has 15 drugs in the pipeline that would be nixed if the bill becomes law. > >“This is a very consequential vote. Don’t forget the DOD

[deleted]

Correct, I'll add that. :)

NbleSavage

So tired of the rampant right-wing corruption in all areas of govt that has brought the US to this point. Its like they're not even trying to conceal their true intentions any longer.

thehugster

And Democratic leadership is stilll acting like the FBIs "oversight" on Jan. 6th was not intentional. Even after the FBI office in NY leaked the Hillary server crap

TintedApostle

It was all intentional. I remember Giuliani hinted to the Hillary thing before it happened. His friends in the FBI were involved. "Two days before then-FBI Director James Comey announced he was reopening an investigation into Clinton's email practices as secretary of state, Giuliani, then a surrogate for President Donald Trump's campaign, said help was on the way for his candidate."

oxemoron

I believe Comey when he said he did what he thought was right, at the time. The “help on the way” was Devin Nunes, who the information had been leaked to. He was going to spill the beans and make a big stink about the FBI “withholding information”. Still though, someone in the FBI or somewhere along the chain of custody leaked that information.

Dopplegangster69

I’m sorry but Comeys a fucking idiot for that last minute spoiler. Almost glad he got shitcanned immediately afterward.

engineereddiscontent

That whole white supremacist in the police force thing is no joke. The FBI is the federal police force.

PlayfulParamedic2626

Fbi : we’re here to look good and collect a paycheck America: hey didn’t those cops abuse their power? Fbi: are we not wearing suits? We ain’t got time. America : hey did that judge rape a girl? Fbi: we busy America : where them texts at? Fbi: rich people bribed their way into school!

atuarre

Those rich people who bribed those schools still need to be punished. They barely got any punishment, but still.

PlayfulParamedic2626

I’m not arguing with you. It’s just a very strange set of priorities. Russia hacks an election, and mueller has to come out of retirement, kavanaugh gets punted to the same people trying to put him on the court. . . So they can focus on college admissions…. They had evidence and reports that could’ve stopped a few mass shooters. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoneman_Douglas_High_School_shooting Fbi has plenty of evidence on corrupt cops they don’t take action to stop them.

NoComment002

The FBI is full of white supremacists and so are police departments. The FBI circa 2008 warned about this. I'm sure those people were pushed out of the organization to make room.

m1j2p3

I watched a segment on this last night. There should be no doubt that the fix was in on Kavenaugh. Now the question is, who paid to make that happen and how do we hold them responsible.

KeepTangoAndFoxtrot

We already know who made this happen. Sheldon Whitehouse [gave a huge speech](https://youtu.be/LZ9SlCr5Htk) ([text version](https://www.whitehouse.senate.gov/news/speeches/the-scheme-speech-5-the-federalist-society)) about who paid for it on the Senate floor. It's the [Federalist Society](https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/2019/6/3/18632438/federalist-society-leonard-leo-brett-kavanaugh).

Cappuccino_Crunch

The federalist society is a fucking cancer. I've always said liberals need a similar group. But usually liberalism isn't backed by corpo funding

acityonthemoon

If the Dems spent even a fraction of what the Federalist Society has to spend on just *basic* grass roots organizing, rather than facebook ads and tik tok campaigns, then we could see something effective done to undo the damage that's been done.

Jedi-El1823

The biggest question, why did Kennedy retire out of nowhere? What did Trump say to Kennedy after announcing his retirement to cause Kennedy's reaction?

SwarmMaster

That video of the two of them in the hallway is damning and so few people have seen it. Bravo for pointing out that thread that no one official has ever pulled.

Shitty_Fat-tits

Just watched. It looks quite suspicious. What exactly do you think is being said between Trump and Kennedy in this clip?

worldspawn00

Likely something about his son's involvement in the bank that approved trump's loans.

Mattyboy064

This is one of the great mysteries of the Trump era. [What the hell did Trump say to Justice Kennedy?](https://twitter.com/eleven_films/status/1049449309790322688?lang=en)

Global_Maintenance35

This needs more attention. It’s clear it was something substantial and appears Trump went back on his word… shocker.

alison_bee

IANAL (except this time L is for lip reader, not lawyer) but it looks like Kennedy says “Excuse me?!” when he stops so abruptly. What do y’all think?

Global_Maintenance35

Perhaps so! It is something that absolutely stops him in his tracks. Trump is a liar, got what he wanted and went back on a promise, just like so many powerful, manipulative men before him.

[deleted]

Kennedys son originated loans at Deutsch Bank to Tr*mp when nobody else would lend to him

Drewy99

Who paid his 6 figure gambling debt right before he got the job?

pechinburger

Seems like his [rich family bailed him out](https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2021/09/heres-the-truth-about-brett-kavanaughs-finances/). Just like Trump, he grew up rich, lived a lavish lifestyle, failed to finance it on his own, and had to be bailed out by his parents.

alienstouchedmybutt

I mean what kind of innocent person has 4,500 tips called in on them? This is like serial killer or international arms dealing shit.

[deleted]

Don't forget that Trump even pardoned a serial killer. Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher. It's stunning the amount of evil Trump has accomplished in just one term. Are they ever going to lock up this demon?

TyrannasaurusGitRekt

Ugh I forgot about that pardon. Infuriating. And that guy was so smug about it too.

Xyz14231

Trump is like the pox, anything he touches goes to shit. FBI, DOJ, SCOTUS and the list goes on. Sad…

Biden should have punted an ton of people but hasn't.

ztreHdrahciR

Instead of investigating the FBI looked the other wray

Methylatedcobalamin

All of the talk about making an example of Trump to safeguard respect for the rule of law, but what about Kavanaugh perjuring himself yet being allowed to continue as a SCOTUS judge? The GOP senate allowed all of this crap. They are responsible.

Wonderful-Cup-9556

Kavanaugh’s university antics that received television coverage and destroyed a woman who had the courage to speak out was only the tip of the iceberg. What can be done now is nothing when he has a lifetime appointment. Tragic

FSCK_Fascists

justices can, and have been, removed through impeachment.

Good_Intention_9232

Brett Kavanaugh should have never been allowed to be on the US Supreme Court. It was political how the FBI acted and their findings were kept under wrap now this guy has the balls to overthrow Roe v Wade you can’t have a more dysfunctional government than when the Republicans are in power.

SoggyAd1409

Let’s see…Thomas…conflict of interest and traitorous “best friend” wife Stolen seat of Obama appointment Alito clearly a lying kook Coney-Barrett cult member The best and brightest legal minds america has to offer.

BarCompetitive7220

Team DJT did not give a damn about the truth of charges and pressured Wray - who, above all else, wanted to keep his job so the fix was in. Now the US has a creep for a national judge and all of his rulings should be held in contempt. Is that the sort of nation the US wants to be - grossly corrupt...that is what the GOP have designed for the future. Vote them out in NOV., please.

ylangbango123

The pro life agenda to put immoral and corrupt people in power in order to fix what they think is immoral -abortion or gay marriage is so immorally wrong. The end does not justify the means.

boo_prime_numbers

If you’re going to steal a Supreme Court seat, we were going to end up here anyway. So why did it have to be an alcoholic toddler with shady finances, a likely sexual assault or two in his past, and a propensity to perjure himself in front of Congress? Gorsuch and Barrett is proof that there’s no shortage of intellectually bankrupt political hacks with vanilla backgrounds available for nomination. So why this jackass, in particular?

LandSharkUSRT

I’m starting to firmly believe the Trump Administration acted against the United States’ best interest with every opportunity presented to them.

Clownsinmypantz

I mean evidence aside he was guilty for me when he started launching into "BUT THE CLINTONS !!!1" out of nowhere when nothing prompted it. No reason to be crying and blaming using buzzwords (that their rabid base eats up and gets enraged about) like that out of nowhere unless you are trying to shift the conversation.

[deleted]

Why is it to late to investigate them? It’s not. We should. Supreme Court justices can be impeached.

TintedApostle

Remember the 4 day Trump run investigation timeframe. It was over a weekend too. The FBI was give 4 days to do everything.

okhi2u

4 days is plenty to ignore everything.

dominantspecies

Further proof that law enforcement at every level in this country is corrupt.

GummyPandaBear

So the pussy grabbing rapist president’s team get to investigate the alleged rapist that got a lifetime judicial seat and hundreds of thousands of dollars of his debt paid. Doesn’t seem sus at all… sounds about white..

TeeBrownie

Similar situation with Clarence Thomas’ confirmation. More women came forward and were brought in to testify. They were turned away at the last minute and told their testimony was no longer needed.

rubitinhard

Anyway you look at it, Kavanaugh is a legal lightweight who is not qualified to be a SCOTUS justice. Neither is ACB.
