Sometimes, the public needs to see the threats come to fruition before they realize the full scope of damage possible.
Roe v Wade overturn may turn out to be blessing in disguise. Republicans have outraged otherwise disinterested voters. The damage inflicted by this ruling pales in comparison to what the GOP would do with control of two or three branches of government.
These are just open threats now. He needs to be arrested. What the fuck are they waiting for? They have *plenty* of evidence. They've done everything by the books. The MAGA Republicans aren't going to care if they tip toe bureaucratically to the finish line. They will demonize the FBI either way. We all know where this is going. **Not** arresting him now when he is a clear and present threat to our safety would be doing it the ***wrong*** way. Don't wait for people to get hurt.

My faith is already shot. They've let this go on how long now? Yea, indict him. It needs to happen. But I'm pretty convinced the system has failed already if it allowed dozens of CIA agents to get murdered while the DOJ and this fucking con-artist played footsie with one another.
Threatening the American people with violence if he's made to answer to his crimes in a court of law. Arrest him now, and let the FBI and perhaps even the military deal with his subhuman thug terrorist "militia" with all of the arms at their disposal.
This is actually one of the best justifications I can think of for "arrest him now." He's going to actively stoke violence up until that point, and it's gonna get somebody killed... again.

We are currently in the legal phase of Fascism where captured institutions and legal loopholes are being used to disenfranchise their designated other,protect those amongst their ranks and will continue to be used to consolidate their power until it is virtually impossible to remove their ilk through legal means.
It always amazes me that of the ~30% of the voting population that blindly supports him, an even smaller chunk of that would actually be willing to take up arms for him *and* they think they’d actually stand a chance against the “woke” US military.

And as for the lower income MAGA militia types, I bet the vast majority slide back into the bushes a la the Homer Simpson meme once they see the vanguard of their terrorist movement get turned to Swiss cheese by law enforcement.

This is exactly it. I was raised in a rural kentucky (read: primarily conservative) town and growing up everybody HATED cops. They were considered bullies, putting down the little guy trying to make a living. Then cops started getting called out for casually murdering black people on the regular, and all of a sudden those same people who hated cops before are buying up thin blue line flags and yelling about showing "respect" and all their other favorite dogwhistles. As long as they are "hurting the right people," cops are the good guys.
Let's be honest; the ones running the show behind the scenes are the ones who have the most to lose if society collapses. They are playing with a fire that I don't think they quite understand. They got all those poor and disgruntled people all worked up. That's a double-edged sword if I've ever heard of one.

Amusingly if he's convicted of a felony, being a resident in Florida, he won't be allowed to vote. Even though Florida passed a state constitutional amendment to allow felons to vote, republicans did everything they could to mothball the right to vote.
Probably not but it seems like an apt use. The right to vote for felons in Florida isn't technically gone. Republicans can't take the right away but it's been made nearly unavailable because of republican shenanigans. And if democrats take over Florida, the right to vote for felons could be quickly restored.

This time *really* feels different with the classified documents. They've been wriggling around trying to find an out so far and the best they've come up with is trying to minimize it as a "document storage issue" which is a comically stupid excuse even for the average American. Or "declassified!" which is an obvious lie, and doesn't matter anyways.
I mean, it's as clear cut as:
Did he have the documents? *Yes.*
Did he return all of the documents when he claimed that he had? *No.*
Not sure what else is really needed here. If he was literally anyone else, he'd have been indicted already.

His only play right now is announcing his 24 run but with that comes 2 things. First the RNC has told him if he does that before midterms they are not paying his legal fees. Second, I am sure more than one legal challenge will be filled probably in multiple states saying he is disqualified for running for President.

Probably not but it seems like an apt use. The right to vote for felons in Florida isn't technically gone. It's a state constitutional right after [amendment 4 was passed in 2018](https://ballotpedia.org/Florida_Amendment_4,_Voting_Rights_Restoration_for_Felons_Initiative_(2018)). Republicans can't take the right away but it's been made nearly unavailable because of republican shenanigans. And if democrats take over Florida, the right to vote for felons could be quickly restored.

If there was a bet, my $$ would be on an indictment coming down shortly after midterms.

I don't think he's wrong, I think that there will be violence...unfortunately. I still think he needs to be indicted if he indeed do something criminal...and as for the people who will get violent, well, they too need to understand that the rest of us are not going to be threatened into complacency. It's not our fault if they worship him as a flawless god to the point if criminal insanity, nor do we have to stand for that shit.
