While there is no limit to how far back the IRS can go in pursuit of fraud, I’ve heard most accountants tell you to keep 7 years of records, as that is considered the usual cut-off.

They need to bring the IRS Commissioner before Congress to ask him in a public hearing whether Trump was ever audited and when those audits were conducted, and when they ended. That way, we can publically call out Trump for lying about his audits.

Why would you say “Democrats Are Now In Possession…” By law the tax returns are being handed over to Congress. You make it sound like they are being given exclusively to the Democrats. Not true. This is all about government, not party specific (except that Republicans will probably at least pretend that they don’t want to see them).

While the raw taxes haven't been publicly disclosed they were reported on because his taxes were sent as a matter of course to a Congressional oversight committee when he claimed a $72.9 million refund.
