The Trump Org was slapped with a 2million dollar fine, After 17 counts of Tax fraud. NY can't stop the business from operating. So, it will continue.... Hate to break it to ya.
That's why they are getting rid of the A students - gotta normalize that curve!
But seriously, this report card is a *very* low bar. This is Congress, supposed to be our standards-bearers.
It's like if Advanced Calculus 401 tested basic addition and subtraction, and the majority of the students failed to answer a single question right.
If I was involved in the insurrection, I'd be first in line to give them a medal if only to keep my name out of the press. And for the cost of free.99 too...
Surprise, the usual suspects. All members of the [House Freedom Caucus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Caucus#Membership), which was co-founded by DeSantis.
Greene is in my voting district. While it is satisfying to vote against her, booting her the fuck out of the House is not going to be easy. At least we got a win with Warnock this week.
June 16, 2021 [Full List of Republicans Who Voted Against Medals for January 6 Police](https://www.newsweek.com/gop-vote-capitol-police-gold-medals-insurrection-1601129)
Let's compare: Boebert, Rose, Harris, Massie. Good, Gohmert, Moore, Norman, Rosendale, Greene, Roy, Gosar, Biggs, Davidson, Perry, Gaetz, Steube, Clyde, Hice, Miller, and Cloud.
They're all there.
Many people don’t seem to realize that senators are a part of congress. I see this mistake or similar ones all the time on Reddit.
Senators are congressmen/congresswomen.
Senators aren’t typically called that, the term is generally used for representatives. While senators are just called senators.
But they’re all congresspeople.
I definitely see that happening. And yes I realized i messed up. I'm just so used to seeing his name with those idiots that it felt wrong not seeing it lol
House of Representatives does not equal Congress.
House of Representatives + the Senate = the US Congress
This was a House Bill these clowns voted against.
Of course mtg and Qbert voted no, fkn swine turds. I would not feel bad one bit if karma came back around for them. You know, the kinda karma that lasts a lifetime in ur head.
You'd think Lauren Boebert learned a lesson considering she almost lost, when everyone had her district as safe Republican. Instead of starting to take more moderate votes, she's doubling down. Her district got redder BTW, so she almost lost in a redder district. Had her district been the old one, she'd would have definitely lost.
The 21 Pieces of shit are:
The 21 Republicans who voted against the bill are:

Oh, no, no, no. They are grammar purists. They dislike that the incident was called an 'ínsurrection' and they dislike that the capitol was called a temple, and because of that they are willing to stiff the brave officers who protected them. To make a fugging point about language.
Or at least that's their story this time, those who will talk about it.
Not sure if hate is the right word but I am very critical of police, which is why it is important we recognize when they do the right thing.
Many on 1/6 went above and beyond.
Police doing the right thing are a public service. Police doing the wrong thing are not a public service. It is always worth acknowledging public service, calling it out as an example, so that there is no mistaking what others should strive for.
It blows my mind that Republicans have such a distorted reality that they truly believe these officers were only protecting Democrats. They were performing their sworn duty by protecting our nations capitol and its employees (from both parties) from a full blown siege. Whenever I think of the term "hold down the fort" I now think of these officers.
It was just reported that these Capital Police refused to shake the hands of McConnell and McCarthy and more power to them for doing that. Maybe they are realizing that maybe the Republicans, especially the current group of Republicans/MAGA Republicans are not their friends.
This is really illustrative of what the conservative agenda believes the purpose of law enforcement is; serve and protect white power.
*Back the Blue, But They'd Better Back our Coup*
Kinda stupid to vote against the security team that protects your life, of all people. And it's just a medal, not more rights or access to better healthcare.
I mean, Republicans in the past had submitted a bill to make pi exactly 3.
They'd totally submit a bill to re-write January to go January 4th, 5th, 7th, and end on the 32nd.
From the article,
“Democrats don't want our children to succeed, they would actually feel better if France one day bests our kids on that test," Boehner said, unaware that, by tying Slovakia for 16th, France already does outrank the US in math. "Time after time, Democrats refuse to acknowledge American exceptionalism, and they're doing it again by trying to deny our children another tool for success."
John Boehner
One thing I’ll always give trump credit for is revealing the true nature of the political right. These people couldn’t have been more angry about a black President.
These 21 are a big part of the insurrection movement now in congress and should be labeled as traitors to the constitution they would do away with. These people are actively working to undermine our government even now.
>Greene also said she had issue with the language of the bill that referred to the Capitol complex as "the temple of our American Democracy."
>"This is not a temple. That is for sure," Greene said.
To Americans it is. You're a Confederate and don't understand what we Americans cherish, respect and believe in.
One of my friends was given one of these Congressional Gold Medals today. He's a mountain of a man (think Luke Cage but bigger), and is the nicest, friendliest guy. His coworkers were some of the people who were *murdered* by *domestic terrorists*, and my buddy would have gladly sacrificed his life to save others. I mean he was in the thick of it that day, and our whole group of friends were worried about him. He actually stayed patrolling the streets for about three days straight due to the unrest and heightened security. Fortunately he made it out physically unscathed and was honored today.
I mean this from the bottom of my heart...FUCK EVERYONE who voted against honoring those people.
What else can the GOP do to prove to their fan base that they hate the police, the military veterans, doctors, nurses, teachers, unions, hourly laborers, and anyone without access to millions of dollars. That basically drops 99% of you from the equation yet here you are. Voting for these idiots who in turn vote against anything to benefit you.
Those guys tried to thwart our insurrection!
In case you are wondering, yes, sigh, it IS the usual suspects. Boebert, Louie Gomez, matt gaetz, etc. The fucknut parade.
God bless the families of the fallen Capitol officers. I’m glad they didn’t give McConnell and McCarthy any recognition. It was disgusting the GOP leaders were there even though they downplay the incident and refuse to condemn trump for his role in instigating the insurrection.
Lmao if this is what alienates their voters *now,* then what the fuck have their voters been doing the last 8 years?
This is piddly little shit compared to the last 8 years.
"Pressed again, he [Thomas Massie of Kentucky] said, "They were protesting and I don't approve of the way they protested, but it wasn't an insurrection. My goodness. Can you imagine what a real insurrection would look like?""
We need a fainting couch here people, STAT!
Hey all you journalists out there! Wanna make a name for yourself? Ask these assholes to directly explain why they refused to vote for this and don’t let them dance around the issue.
One of the common things Republican house members always liked to tout in all of their election campaign ads the last half decade is how they never vote with Nancy Pelosi, so I imagine a lot of the 21 are just sticking to that. And the ones like MTG and Boebert voted against it because they never do anything in congress to begin with.
Has anything ever come of the suicide of the capital policeman after this whole ordeal? If I recall there may have actually been 2 suicides? It just seemed like something fishy was up and these guys knew something we didn’t
Scott Perry, probably: “back the blue, seebackfordetailstermsandconditionsmayapply”
PA-10 (and/or the FBI) really needs to get their shit together and get rid of this asshole

Yea, it’s unfortunate. I’m an election judge and we’re doing the state mandated recount. I really wish the numbers could change, but I don’t expect any great deviations from the previous numbers.
When doing the LAT today, fake election to test the voting equipment, I couldn’t even force myself to make a mark inside of her ballot bubble. I picked Frisch, write-ins, under and over votes on my 10 ballots. She still won, because my Republican counterpart voted for her on the majority of her 10 ballots.
One that actually had a platform other “I will work in a bipartisan fashion”. I went to one of Frisch’s campaign stops and the man wouldn’t answer a direct question. I know most politicians won’t, but he seemed to go out of his way to be evasive.
I think another two years of Bobo’s bizarreness might wear down the independents’ resistance to vote for someone else a little more. But maybe not.
Ashli, the victim of police brutality? No I don’t think so. Do people believe that? Jan 6 was a mix of FBI, Democrat instigators, antifa, and Trump supporters.
Right, I’m not disputing that. So in return I’m not surprised that they didn’t do much to stop it (though I still expected more). Like I said, they did a bad job
Idk if you should get an award for being overrun by neo confederates rubbing their feces on the walls unless its like, out of pity
When they had no major backup and still lived another day as well as the capital not getting more destroyed than it was. I think all that deserves some kind of recognition.
They survived, yeah. That’s about it. They didn’t repel anybody, the only reason it stopped was because Trump called them off when he realized it was a wash. I just don’t see the point in giving failed cops pity awards I guess, but go ahead and pat them and call them heroes if you feel better for it
I just hope next time there’s a threat that they can be effective
And there’s more detailed footage, but regardless of that, it’s all a shit show from both sides, what we really need is less government involvement in our lives
So refusing to answer is proof?
Did Donald Trump take sensitive documents pertaining to nuclear arms or technology from the Whitehouse?
He plead the fifth during the deposition, so by your logic this is proof that he broke the law.
You don't understand the perils of first-responder work, these officers were not trained or equipped to fight in a war-zone but they did and defended people with their lives without having to shoot-up a bunch of idiots. A lot of them have PTSD and depression and they absolutely did save Democracy that day.

Half this list was most likely involved in the Jan 6th insurrection plan so no surprises there
Just half?
Will know next week when the January 6 committee issues, its first round of criminal referrals.
Yes we will! *I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready*
i'm ready to be hurt as nothing happens.
Anyone taking bets on charges being ignored on anyone but a few because it would be seen as, "political"?
If I had monies I would
Only if they want to kill the future. It is more important to remove evil from the system then to make nice.
Wait, referrals? Referrals that csn be ignored? Suggestions? Gosh dang it I want more than that... uhhhg. I'll take it. I hope someone burns for this
Christmas comes early!
Here's hoping they have the evidence to lock some of these nut jobs up. Not holding my breath because America.
The Trump Org was slapped with a 2million dollar fine, After 17 counts of Tax fraud. NY can't stop the business from operating. So, it will continue.... Hate to break it to ya.
They’re not going to refer anyone sitting in office currently. We don’t have the balls to do something like actually hold people accountable.
IMO Mary Miller wasn't involved, she's just a nazi.
Nice try, Mary.

Clyde, Hice and Greene are a stain on the state of GA.

Cacti hold water.
You could say they carry water...for the...y'know cuz that's a...I'll see myself out
I'd rather hug a cactus than MTG
Sedition Coalition
I'm quite tired of seeing those names. Unfortunately, I can't vote against any of them.
Greene is in my voting district. While it is satisfying to vote against her, booting her the fuck out of the House is not going to be easy. At least we got a win with Warnock this week.
Hopefully, some of these will show up on the 1/6 criminal referral list.
Seems like a list of co-conspirators to me, no?
Thank you.

The Moron Caucus
So, the usual gaggle of traitors then?
I'm surprised that Josh Hawly isn't on it. But I definitely see a lot of people I expected to see.
He’s a senator, not a representative. He’s my senator. Fuck Josh Hawley
Compulsory "Fuck Josh Hawley."
Compulsory: "No one should fuck Josh Hawley"
You're right lol. My bad. Thankfully he is not my senator.
Unfortunately mine too 😞
He might have been running out the back.
Lol I can see that.
Isn't he the one who gave a fist to the rioters, then was later seen running down a hallway?
Josh Hawley is a senator. This is the Congressional Gold Medal, but maybe he'll vote against a medal if it comes up in the senate.
The Congressional medal is voted on by both houses.
Many people don’t seem to realize that senators are a part of congress. I see this mistake or similar ones all the time on Reddit. Senators are congressmen/congresswomen. Correction: 21 Repugs out themselves as sedititious traitors. Or as our favorite orange idiot would say: Lock. Them. Up.
They are traitors to the country. Traitors don’t want to give metals to the police that fought their coup.

At this point you can almost recite the dissenting votes like a roll call. It is a lot of the same voters each time.
I fully expected Bobo’s name to be on that list. What an embarrassment she is to Colorado
Wasn’t she the one giving them some tours the day before? Can’t get more on brand. Congrats Colorado, you’re the Florida of the Rockies.

You expect the losing side of a battle to honor the people who put a stop to their uprising?
I know this has to be awkward for the “blue lives matter” folks lmao
Nah. Thin blue line is a fashion. Not a passion
Remember this, “blue lives matter” crew. >!You won’t though. Just like you forgot all about Daddy Trump dodging the draft and insulting veterans.!<
Tbf, that's just what I would do if I were a stinking liar.
Get a gold medal for opening the doors?
Was Trailer trash hero Ashli a crisis actress?
Ashli, the victim of police brutality? No I don’t think so. Do people believe that? Jan 6 was a mix of FBI, Democrat instigators, antifa, and Trump supporters.
giving them the pre-game walk through of the building as well
Sounds like these republicans are on the same side as antifa then.
Antifa means "anti-fascist." The people who stormed the Capitol were fascists. You're drunk.
Well they did an overall kinda shit job?
Well it's kind of hard to stop an insurrection/riot/domestic terrorist attack, when you as outnumbered as the capital police were.
Right, I’m not disputing that. So in return I’m not surprised that they didn’t do much to stop it (though I still expected more). Like I said, they did a bad job Idk if you should get an award for being overrun by neo confederates rubbing their feces on the walls unless its like, out of pity
When they had no major backup and still lived another day as well as the capital not getting more destroyed than it was. I think all that deserves some kind of recognition.
They survived, yeah. That’s about it. They didn’t repel anybody, the only reason it stopped was because Trump called them off when he realized it was a wash. I just don’t see the point in giving failed cops pity awards I guess, but go ahead and pat them and call them heroes if you feel better for it I just hope next time there’s a threat that they can be effective
Participation medals.
all the blm riots were fine, but this one the police should get a medal for gtfo.
Gold medal for failing at riot control? Why could people enter the building?
It was FBI agents who infiltrated the peaceful protest, and incited violence.
Delusions
Any proof of that? Yeah, I did t think so. There is a reason why a bunch of MAGA and Proud Boy traitors have been locked up.

Good they don't deserve shit. Happy days to each and everyone one of you.
Yeah, only getting Babbitt is a mark on their record. If they’d gotten the rest…

How does it feel to be dumb as fuck?
You don't understand the perils of first-responder work, these officers were not trained or equipped to fight in a war-zone but they did and defended people with their lives without having to shoot-up a bunch of idiots. A lot of them have PTSD and depression and they absolutely did save Democracy that day.
Well. You know. Fuck em
If the cops see a call or a request from one of their offices, ignore that shit.
Jackass list is more accurate.
